My brother and sister-in-law came here for their wedding. The staff was decent to work with but there were a couple of bumps along the way. All in all I think it was a great location for my brother but they need to change a few other packages and how they build rapport with their couples. We had a quinceanera on 4/20/24 and had the time of a life. Candy was such an amazing event coordinator. She responds in a timely manner and well. The staff is very attentive and handled the guest well. The bar tenders were also amazing. They kept everyone inline with their alcohol. DJ Wolf had everything on time and kept the dance floor busy. Beautiful reception hall. It is very versatile in that it can be used for wedding or parties. It is spacious and the standard decor is lovely. Ample parking and clean restrooms. However, I did notice that only 2 of the stalls are open and the rest are locked. That could be an issue as the night progresses. I love that this hall has a foyer and the upstairs is perfect for a cocktail hour. Temperature is suitable and staff is attentive. Hoping that it stays that way throughout the night! read more

My granddaughter had her quincanera here on 5-27-2023. The place is beautiful, however the management lies, manipulates, and doesn't hold their end of the contract.Once the contract is signed -GAME OVER. My daughter chose this venue because Teresa the owner offered her a great package for 200 guests at 16,000. My daughter was excited and thought she would be stress free. A few months before the event, a lady named Janie calls her and meets with. She shows my daughter a new contract that stated 150 guests. My daughter became upset and told her that was wrong. She showed her the contract that was signed with Teresa. Janie said she would look into it and basically called my daughter a liar. Teresa said she would change it for an additional fee -3500 for 40 plates. My daughter asked how many more plates the chef would bring and she was told 5. At that point she asked if she could bring pizza and nuggets for the kids they told her yes. The lack of communication between Teresa and Janie is insane. One says one thing and the other says another. Imagine going through that for 11 months! My daughter would text/call Teresa and no response. The day of the event was a nightmare. The venue was extremely hot. My daughter and guests complained all night. The event was shut down early due to this. On the day of the event my daughters guests and my daughter was told they couldn't use the upstairs portion of the hall. They were rudely escorted downstairs. Guests were denied food even the pizza my daughter bought. There was alot of people at the event, which my daughter complained to the event manager about, but he told her he couldn't tell certain people to not come in. Now my daughter is told her 1000 deposit will not be refunded. They told her it was over the limit, the chef served an additional 40 plates (which is a BIG lie there are text messages quoting the 3500 for 40 plates) and the drapes were "soaked" in a brown fluid and stained with lime green stuff from the cake. The pics sent to her show spots of brown on the drapes and the cake was PINK. My daughter called Teresa and reminded her that the cake was made by her staff. Please do yourself a favor and don't give them your business. It will soon be leased to middle eastern contractors, but it is still Teresa's venue. She will probably show them how to scam you out of your money. read more

This hall did not live up to the promises for my sister and brother in laws wedding. We payed a couple of extra thousand dollars for the hall to be open past 2 am. In our contract we payed for the hall till 4am as mNy of our guest were working late night shifts. In our contract the food, decorations, and waiters were ALL from outside. Even table covers and chair sashes were brought from another vendor. My family only payed nearly $14,000 for just the hall itself. Things started going downhill when our event was closed one hour before we were promised and payed for. Towards the end of the event, the security guards were very, VERY rude. They proceeded to yell at our guests as they were eating to leave the premises. This was one hour before the time we asked for the hall to be kept open as we payed for this extra time. On top of that the event coordinator told us that the owner wanted us to start cleaning up?! Our event coordinator told us that she was leaving as it was her last day on the job, and shortly after the owner would come to close the event. After the security guards told all our guests to leave as it was a night club, we were forced to end our event early. We were embarassed that our guests who came all the way from different states or drove nearly hours to come to my sister's big day were kicked out by security guards. The part that aggravated me the most was that the owner told us we had to clean ALL the trash from the tables. Mind you we were only responsible from cleaning up the buffet area because the food was catered from outside, not from the hall. When we argued that we were not responsible for hall cleaning the coordinator told us that they had another event in the coming day and told us that their management was only responsible for cleaning the floor ?!!! At this point we did not know what to do, so we began to clean. When we asked for trash bags, the owner told us we didn't pay for them! So she refused to give it to us. I remember her saying, "we do not provide trash bags for you'll." At this point I was very upset, having to see my sister, brother in law, and even guests frantically try to clean the tables. The owner threatened us and told us that we had less than an hour to clean up the tables or else she would be charging us extra. We proceed to get trash bags from our homes, because thank god we lived close by the area. Our waiters who were helping us. that too who were from an outside vendor not associated with the hall, frantically tried to clean up. After the event, we told the owner our concerns and she did not seem to care at all. The best part was, when it was time to give us our advance deposits back, she accused our guest for stealing her restroom air fresheners!! At this point we told her to checker her cameras. And reminded her that she watched us clean the hall. Very disappointed in the customer service of this place. Please be aware of this hall and their lack of promises and coordination. They ruined my sisters special day. Will never forget this terrible experience. Even despite the reviews, we wanted to give this hall a chance, because the interior was very nice. But please be aware that they are very disrespectful. read more

Attend my wife cousins 15 birthday (Quinceañera) at this location. The over all look was great. The biggest issues at the location was there DJ, he had no updated music and all the he played over and over again was Kenny Gs greatest hits. The sounds system was out of wack, Mics kept getting feed back no matter where you stood. The DJ had no control over the system, volume was all over the place. Food was 4 out of 10. The place did not have any water to provide nor would they even offer unless you went to the kitchen to get it from the tap. If it wasn't for a a surprise robot performer with his own music, the party would of crashed and burned. Over all the place needs a new party coordinator to get the place up to par. It could be a great location and event host but the management is out of touch with current trends for events like this. read more

I recently had my wedding a Cindy's palace and their management is full of liars. They will say anything to get your business & at the end disappoint you. BUYER BE WARE!!! 1. At least 10 months in advance I was looking for a venue that would allow me to bring in my own liquor. I told them I was looking at another venue which did make allowance for this, I informed Cyndia about this other location. She told me they were going discontinue their TABC license prior to me signing my contract. This was a positive thing because they promised us we would be allowed to bring in our own liquor, and save thousands on bar costs. About 2 months prior to the wedding day (after all the invites have been sent out) they called us and told us they would be keeping their TABC license & we would NOT BE ABLE TO BRING IN OUR OWN LIQUOR. Essentially they would not be able to honor their SIGNED CONTRACT! After many debates they said we could buy alcohol but they would KEEP any of it which was not used. THEY DEVISED A SCHEME TO DISPENSE AS LITTLE AS THEY CAN & KEEP THE REST. One of the bartenders did not realize she was talking my mother & told her there was NO RED WINE...my mom pointed and said I BOUGHT IT & BEHIND YOU THERE ARE SEVERAL BOTTLES OF RED WINE! They also promised they would provide all the mixer's namely margarita mix...when I came on that day...NO MARGARITA MIX (which was very important for me to have at my bar, I asked Cyndia about this over and over again to confirm they were going to provide this, and of course she reassured me it would be there. Only again for them to disappoint.) 2. Cyndia told us we could come and set up Monday or Tuesday the week of my event which was on a Friday (we had alot of decor we were putting up ourselves) she then turned around and told us we could only come in the day before to set up decor which was a major hit on our timeline seeing as how we were doing everything ourselves. Why tell us one thing, and change at the last minute? 3. On the day of the event she tells me MY MAKE-UP ARTIST CAN'T DO MY MAKE-UP IN THE CHANGING ROOM...WE HAVE TO USE THE HALLWAY...I'm like what??? So you want all my guest coming in to see the BRIDE getting her hair and make-up done in the hallway while they are being seated for dinner? I definitely would not have booked this place if that was communicated to me. There are several other places in Houston that make accommodations for their BRIDE to be COMFORTABLE, and not to inconvenience her. 4. They told my mother she could leave her decor in the hall and pick them up on a subsequent date, when my mom returned SEVERAL of her items where STOLEN!!!. There were a number of other things that were said and done that was not right. Cindy's palace management is a very TERRIBLE group of people to work with. They will say and do ANYTHING to get you to sign a contract AND GET YOU MONEY. Then they start showing their true colors closer to your wedding date when there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING YOU CAN DO about it; because they start their TRICKS VERY CLOSE TO YOUR WEDDING DAY. I was left completely HELPLESS because all my invitations had gone out, and I had several family members coming internationally for this event. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM if you want you wedding process to be as stress free as possible. They will LIE to you up front to get the business, and start changing things at the END when its too LATE FOR YOU TO CANCEL THEM. read more

I wanted a venue that was different from typical banquet halls so last August of 2016 I inquired Cindy's Palace for my wedding that took place May of 2017. Me and my mother met with a lady named Doris and she got us set up nice.. BUT THIS IS WHERE THE STORY TURNS... When we came back in April to now go over the contract their was a new owner and an incompetent event manager that put us through HELL! If you are not Hispanic they will treat you like SH*T!!! It was the wort experience ever and it got to the point where I cried because of the frustration they put us through. They have no hospitality and they will make the process anything but pleasant. They canceled planning meetings last minutes, they up-charged for everything, they hand wrote on contracts after we signed them (which is illegal), they lied to us on what was available to us and then on the day of my wedding said they never said that. (LIARS!!) You name it they did it. They really tried to ruin my wedding, but thank God we prayed and covered every disaster and work of the Devil in prayer because my wedding still went as planned even though Cindy's Palace owner and staff tried their hardest to ruin it. Do yourself a favor and run very very very far from this establishment. They deserve not a penny of anyone's hard working money. And I will say that until the day I die. read more
