My sister got married here 4 years ago or so but I didn't get a chance to see every little detail when she got married. Now that it was my turn, I was sooooo excited I picked Signature Manor. With full transparency, we visited at least 2 other locations before making our decision and were looking at at least 1 more go consider. Our must haves: 1. Stand alone facility (no crammed in a shopping center) 2. Clean facility 3. Plenty of Parking 4. A place that won't nickel and dime you 5. Great staff to work with ***First Impression: This place was even better than I remembered. They had done a ton of renovations and the place looked good, plenty of Parking and the staff was also so nice and courteous. Can I let you guys in on a secret? We would go to Signature Manor every month (because we chose to make payments) before we knew we could pay online... we didnt read the fine print... Anywho, we just enjoyed going there... Talking to the staff, asking questions... After a while, they were like family!! ***Venue: The venue is a nice stand alone. It is large on the outside and on the inside which is a great use of space. There are restrooms upstairs and downstairs. There is also an additional room upstairs for children or whatever you like. Essentially, the entire venue is yours. We have seen some nightmarish weddings where the guests are in the wrong wedding because they are connected/ joined. Not here!!! The separate Bride and Groom Suites are nice because they are right by the elevator and they have locks on them. Very safe! The ballroom is huge and the foyer area is big enough to host a ceremony or cocktail reception. ***Parking: There was plenty of parking, which wraps around the building. ***Food: The kitchen is super flexible and can accommodate anything. We had an amazing food tasting, where we were able to accommodate even our Vegan guests! The cake was also amazing. Yay Cakes by Gina! ***Staff: So, I must say, I am very detail oriented and thought that they may be a problem, but it was not! We worked with Katherine who helped our vision come to life. We were then assigned Alex as our Coordinator and we worked very well together. She allowed me to be free with my super crazy ideas and executived them perfectly. She gave us her insights on what has not worked well and what has in the past, which was very helpful. I would be remiss if I left our everyone who made our Wedding possible from Alice, who heard all of my stressed out sob stories, Asia who kept the party going with Alex, Ryan who gave us a male's perspective and always knew how to keep the jokes coming to lighten the mood... we even saw Bonnie a few times! Now that is what we call family. And we never saw any attitudes or craziness from the staff no matter how many questions we asked. They were always there to answer and went above and beyond. What you see is what you get. Even when minimally decorated, from floor to ceiling, the space has a clean, elegant, and modern look. It's highlighted by tray ceilings with gorgeous chandeliers. The space is ideal for a party/reception. Hundreds were in attendance and there was plenty of space for everyone. There was live music, speeches, dinner, and dancing. Food was catered and served in the lobby outside the ballroom. A bar was set up in one corner of the ballroom. The Trinity Event Center is located behind Holy Trinity Cathedral Church (Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Google Maps). Not knowing this, I parked in front of the church, thinking it was the same as the event center. They are two separate buildings on the same property. There's plenty of parking. There was an event going on at the same time at the church, so there were a lot of cars. Additional parking is available around and behind the event center. The back lot is sort of hidden. Holy Trinity and the Trinity Event Center are in southwest Houston, near the Houston Funplex.

The bathrooms were the worst I have seen in any event center in all my years in America. There were urine all over, toilet papers and paper towels on the floor and no toilet paper or soap for guests to use. I had to use the paper towel to wipe my self. This is unacceptable and should be corrected. Please before you rent this hall ensure that they have staff monitoring supplies and cleaning the toilets during your event. They are getting away with this because they serve mostly the immigrant community but we should not accept this level treatment from them. This was my first time going there for an event and will most likely not attend any event there again till they clean up. Every one I spoke to about my experience there said that is normal for this event center. We need to stop using them till they change. Your guests are there to honor you not to get infection from attending your event. They charge a lot for the halls but can not provide basic supplies for the bathrooms and have cleaners there during the events.

However, ALL of my guests did NOT see the fruit/cheese bar set up on the other side of the ballroom. After about 30 minutes of mingling and drinking, some of the guests noticed the waiters taking the UNTOUCHED and UNEATEN fruit/cheese. One of my guests asked the waiter if some of them could grab a few things from the huge platter, but they were told that they couldn't. So basically- my husband and i paid for a nice fruit and cheese bar that was taken to the kitchen... Uneaten. We probably wasted a few hundred dollars on just that... That is probably the only complaint i have about this Venue. Other than that, my wedding was absolutely beautiful and went so smoothly. As other Yelpers have mentioned form and function. This venue gets the form right. My experience is as a humble guest who attends several weddings a year. Not in expertise by opinion only: Where ASG improved from a previous wedding reception was the staff seemed more capable. Where the experience echoed or fell down comparatively to a previous wedding reception and tonight was operations or function. What do I mean? The chapel is beautiful, the reception hall is expansive and the experience as a guest at the reception was somewhat surprisingly sad and disappointing. What do I mean? Function: No guests guidance. Tonight for 200+ guests things were quirky & seemed off with service. Function: There was no discernible heat in the reception area. It remained that way for the duration. No management visible to kindly discreetly dialogue. I looked. Function: One server at a buffet table, serving 200+ guests. Function: Kitchen service was slow. Form: Food was tasty. Rolls were excellent. Form: Staff seemed more capable but still unenthusiastic or engaging. Still a plus. Context: The MC spaced tables adequately but the que did not move much waiting on replenishment and being a one woman show. I want to be positive and fair. This repeats previous observation. Summing it up: I would recommend this place with a cautionary note about the food service and lack luster experience of ghosted senior staff members. I'm no expert. My take is in experience only. This garden is a small garden that has very limited hours but is quite nice. The best way to describe it is a TINY bayou bend. It still has some nice fountains and flowers for photo taking. They were setting up a tent for a wedding ceremony so apparently this can be used a wedding venue also. Their public hours are M, W, and Th from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm.
