So, I informed her that it's playing - she wants to go. Arrived for the 2pm showing (only $5.75ea, great deal) - picked out our seats and went in. We are the only ones in this Theater - it's like a Private Showing and that's really cool. Our Seats (love those lounges) are in the middle of the theater and we both set them back as far as they would go - nice and comfy - but the do have a strong sweaty odor (that's bad). Raised up the Arm Rest and saw at least 60+ Popcorn under the Arm Rest. Placed it back down and relocated out seats. These seats also have that bad odor but no Popcorn under the Arm Rest. Enjoyed the movie but hated the odor in the Theater. When the movie was over I was going to raise up all the other Arm Rest but decided not too because the Lounges had that bad odor. I did raise up the one where I found the Old Popcorn. Hopefully they will clean this - and the other Theaters - better. We are not going back for several months because they don't clean very well.

This guy NEEDS to be your Supervisor as of at least YESTERDAY!!!! One of our favorite ways to rack up points is the Wizard of Oz coin drop game. We are very familiar with how to redeem the coins/cards and add them to our family central points card. However, many members of the Midland team have been simply (I hate to say it but I have to be honest) too lazy to read the simple instructions of sliding the player card, inserting won coins/cards, and then sliding the player card once more to transfer the points to it. Instead, even your higher level supervisors were missing the initial sliding of the player's individual card and claiming that the machine to do it yourself was just "constantly broken." But James instead showed how this step was missed regularly so we could do it ourselves instead of everyone counting on the ONE guy in the prize room to do EVERYTHING for them, causing a massive backlog with frustrated customers! And he did it with a giant smile and award-level customer service! Take it from someone who has been the founder of several companies: THIS is the guy you want to promote from within and hold onto!!!

The chic rustic look always compliments the decorations you add for your event. As a photographer, the venue has a great number of spots to shoot, i.e. the bar in the "hardware store," the outdoor courtyard has a fountain, a long hallway, & rustic doors, an upstairs room that is furnished with some vintage looking chairs. I will say that I know the venue is pricey but the place is huge (approx 11,000 square feet! including the hardware store, party room & outdoor courtyard.) I also know that the tables and chairs are available for rent if you do not have your own. I don't know specifics of the contract they have for renting the venue, but the supply of paper towels and toilet paper in the restrooms NEVER meets the demands. It would seem like a good idea to use one of the industrial paper towel/toilet paper dispensers or even an air hand dryer found at most public restrooms. I walked out of the restroom with wet hands every time due to no paper towels. On the subject of the restrooms, the trash cans ALWAYS overflow with waste due to the fact that they are so tiny. Now on to the HVAC system, the AC in the hardware store isn't up to par or had some issues because it was sweltering hot! Almost everyone hung out in the party room & outside in the courtyard because of the heat. They need to have the HVAC system serviced or upgraded to properly cool a venue of that size. All in all, this is a nice place to have your wedding, reception, family reunion, etc. Just make sure to bring extra paper goods and some fans.
