This review is specific to their VIP area. You'd think from a chain that if they offer an 'experience' and charge the same amount that you should get that same experience and service. However, after having visited the VIP areas at Yonge and Eg. as well as Don Mills, and then coming here, there's clearly a gap. I'd hyped it up to my wife and sold her on it, though the ticket was about $8 more and the same show was playing 15 minutes later on a regular screen. The lounge area was nice enough, but still a bit behind the others I'd been to. I also experienced what another reviewer mentioned when the theatre was only ready a few minutes before showtime. You really had to place your order immediately upon getting seated. Honestly, none of the above really mattered, but what did was my disappointment in seeing clearly inferior seats from what I'd had at other VIP locations, and then even worse - far less leg room. Then, once I was seated, I discovered the seats don't have power recline since it's just by leaning back, and there are no elevated leg rests. The pampered service was always a nice little touch for me when going to VIP, but really it was mostly about having far more leg room. Here, it was barely more than a typical theatre. A big letdown being taller and my legs getting sore more easily as I age (sadly). Also, my wife's arm tray didn't tilt in order to be able to have food in front of her. The fact that they charge the same price ($22/ticket) as other locations despite off by some distance in seating comfort is what bothers me. I get that there's still the personalized service, but you still pay for that in the food cost and tip anyway. The name should perhaps change to "S.I.P" as it's really just a somewhat important service rather than 'very'. I guess they're trying to pull things off in the suburbs that they wouldn't in the city and hope people don't know better. read more

DO NOT come to this cinema!! I came here just yesterday to see a movie with my husband and with my boys. We came to watch the Sonic movie, and when we entered, we were completely ignored and no one greeted us! Then, when I tried to show the worker my ticket, the little girl just said nothing and scanned it. She motioned me to show the barcode better and was being super impatient and impolite. When we tried to buy our popcorn, the till worker would say nothing and just fill the bag. He looked very annoyed and didn't even look at us while talking to us. The staff here are all impolite teenagers with no manners. I'm not coming here again. read more

We went to the VIP theatre on a Saturday night. We purchased our tickets ahead of time so we could just go to our seats upon arrival. When we arrived, the theatre was closed off for cleaning and we were lining up outside the doors. Once seated, there was only one person taking in-seat orders until my husband told a staff person to bring more staff in. The idea of paying for VIP is for the service but it could have been much better. We wanted to order in our seats and not in the lounge area. Also, the seats lean back but do not stay reclined.....kind of useless. Plus there is no time play. read more

As far as theatres go, this one is not bad, but it's not the greatest, either. The staff is friendly. The washrooms are clean. The theatres are fairly up-to-date. The parking lot is terrible, as it's shared with other places (restaurants), so parking is tight, and the single entrance / exit doesn't help. It's nice to able to reserve a seat. The best part of this theatre should be the VIP service, but unfortunately, it's not. First off, it feels like the window for ordering food is small - ordering stops when the trailers begin. So I feel rushed to make a selection. Then once you order your food, you pay and are prompted to tip. I don't like tipping *before* I know how good the service will be, so while I normally consider myself to be a generous tipper (particularly for good service), I can't help but feel a bit stingy when I'm prompted to tip while ordering. Moreover, the food is just so-so. I ordered the veggie burger and was disappointed by the distinct lack of flavour. My Caesar salad was watery. Ugh. Luckily the popcorn was good - fresh and salty, as it should be. The movie was enjoyable, too, so the evening was saved, but after having two different meals at this theatre, I think I'll pass on dinner next time and simply enjoy the show. read more

VIP? No way. In seat dining? Only if you don't mind passing others food down. Save your money the VIP experience is not worth it. The burgers were semi warm and the quesadillas super greasy. The fries were good. The seats did not recline though the website said they have them. Tried to phone and confirm and no one answered the phone and it puts you in a endless loop so you dont get to speak to anyone. We drove 45 minutes to go and were disappointed. read more

If you like to enjoy VIP now and then, DO NOT go here. The staff are extremely slow in cleaning up the auditorium, thereby leaving you with very little time to order from your seat (ordering stops when the trailers begin). Not worth the extra charge, just go to the regular auditoriums. P.S. the bathrooms and seating itself are similar to the regular theatres. This is just a money grabbing poor replica of the real thing. I've been to the Queensway and Kitchener VIP theatres which are the TRUE VIP experience! read more

Really great place to see a movie. Showtimes are relatively reasonable, but the best part is the vip section. The vip lounge is good, service is not bad, and the food is great. Pricing is of course expensive but it is a good time. The last star for me to be there would be the parking. They share this parking lot with a few other big restaurant chains and during hot hours there is NO WHERE to park. read more

LIKE WE WAITED FOR LIKE HALF AN HOUR, WE MISSED HALF OF THE COMMERCIALS. What is the point of working when are aren't even working. Like excuse me what is this UGH. Cineplex theaters are always a great experience. They have a lot of food choices with a lot of staff to really crank out your tasty treats just in time for you to make the show. The theater is clean and comfortable with multiple stations to purchase your tickets. Overall a great establishment to see your favorite movie on the big screen. read more

Came here after a long long time. Was happy to see improvements and keeping the cinema updated. I only go to the VIP cinemas. But was surprised that there wasn't a machine up top to print off pre purchased tickets. There was also a line up there so I had to wait until I was at the front so that I could get my ticket printed. The chairs in the cinema are also updated but there's no cup holders so it was awkward to have to share a side table with a stranger who also had their drink and food on the table. read more

Difficult to find parking as there are so many restaurants in the same plaza. Staff is always friendly. Waiting time is always reasonable. Washroom are pretty clean and they have a VIP area if you want to drink while watching a movie. It can get pretty busy and it seems like there are a lot more young people who come to this location. It is usually my go to location just because it's close, so I wish they had a yogen fruz like some of the other locations. read more

Went to the show. Stood in line at concession for 15 minutes. Ordered a hotdog. Young man sent me to other counter to pick up hotdog. Handed girl my ticket. She takes it. Now I've waited 25 minutes. Finally I call her over as my movie is starting. She tells me it will be another 25 minutes for my hotdog. I asked if maybe she should have told me it would be that long. She replied that someone should have told me. I got a refund and sat thru my movie starving. Not a good experience. read more

Seats are very comfy and I love how you can recline in them. Bigger then the one on brant st so a little bit more busy at times. Love the VIP screens and that you have the option to pick your own seat, even if your paying ahead online. Also like the VIP because the seats are huge and it's only over 19 plus that's aloud, and you can also order food and have it delivered to your seat. read more

This place is terrible according to our experience. They play a PG-13 movie in VIP only where you have to be 19 to go in. When we asked about other cineplex theaters nearby the attendant would not help us to check. Will stay away from it. read more
