Love going here! I've a been here a few times and always have a good time. The drive in movie experience is truly one of a kind and is a great spot for a first date ;) - general admission is $12.00 and the Tuesday price is $7.00 - there is lots of space at each theatre spot (there are 3 in total) and from my experience, there usually isn't a car beside you even if you park near the front - there is a cool little establishment made to look kind of like a 50s style diner where you can buy popcorn, cotton candy, drinks, and various other snacks - prices are quite reasonable - washrooms are clean - there is a small play area / park near the front of the screen for kids to play in - the intermission and pre/post movie animations on the screen are very cute and retro style - really compliments the whole drive-in movie feel and adds to the overall experience - corporate bookings can be made Before going, make sure to check out the website for the movie times and whether the drive-in is open! They are closed on some days and the weather affects this too.

I enjoy going here because of the retro feel. It fills up pretty quickly so I like to try and get there as early as possible to make sure I get a good spot/view of the screen. I like how when you pay for your ticket, they provide you with a plastic bag for your garbage. Depending on what's playing and how many booths are opened, there could be a bit of a wait to pay for your ticket. The concession/diner was interesting. I like the ambiance of the diner. It took a few minutes to acknowledge that we wanted to place an order. The staff behind the counter was more focused on wiping down behind the counter and cleaning. I only ordered a slushie but staff was very friendly. I suggest checking the website before you come so that way you know the show times and what to expect. Overall, I would come here again since it's a good experience. The washrooms are what you would expect at a public park. It was a bit confusing when it came to using the faucet.

I loved my experience at this drive-in! It has a super retro feel but the movies they play are usually new releases. They have three screens and each screen plays two different movies, but you can't swap screens in between (you can't watch movie #1 at screen 1 and then movie #2 at screen 3, for example). There is plenty of space but it can fill up pretty fast. The diner food is pretty old-fashioned and greasy but in a good way. I ordered cheese fries and had to wait 20 min because they forgot about my order so we missed some of the movie. That was the only sucky part of my experience. Also, what everyone says about the mosquitos--bug spray is a MUST when you watch a movie here. Other than that, everything is great!

I literally missed half a movie waiting for my food. 47 minutes for a hotdog and burger. Pull your shit together and get more organized and prepare for busy days. Ruined my whole experience for the first time ever at a drive in movie.

First time going to a drive in theatre and I was super excited. The experience of watching a movie under the stars is really cool...especially if you have a portable radio and lawn chair set up outside the car with some nice cool weather. This theatre has a snack bar and some washrooms in the back. The screen was very big. We reversed in and watched from our trunk. We were able to listen in to the radio signal with our portable radio. We opted to not leave our car on idle for the radio as we were worried about battery issues. A couple of people's cars were drained out of battery and they had to call CAA for a boost. Snack bar food: - prices were reasonable, significantly cheaper than cineplex's snack combos - funnel cake with vanilla ice cream and some strawberry sauce is so goddamn good. I must get this every time I come to this drive in movie theatre - french fries were fresh/made to order and sooo good!!! chicken fingers with fries is put into a surprisingly large take out box. (took a good 15 minutes to come out during credits of movie 1) - chili fries also very good, but took forever to come out of the kitchen (30 minute wait before the movie started) - cheese sauce that came with the nachoes were sooo salty (saltier than cineplex's). Issues with the snack bar/washrooms: - snack bar looked very dirty and old/not maintained in a sanitary condition - no one wore hair nets/hats/caps to catch hair - some of the kitchen staff did not look clean, clothes looked unhygienic (raggedy white shirts covered in dirt/dust) - about 2 washroom stalls in the women's side did not have working locks (therefore not useable) - most of the toilets were filthy, clogged, not cleaned during the movies - only 2 handwash sinks were functional

Review Highlights - Five Drive-In Theatre

Honestly, places like these are rare, and because of the gradual growing of the GTA, we're lucky to even have a place like this near us.

Okay, this may not be quite 'as good as it gets' for a public square - but it has a lot of value to…read moreme since I live nearby, and it's one of the city's very few meaningful public spaces. It's a very well designed area, reaching the corner of Main and Queen streets - the heart of downtown Brampton, and occupies a good amount of space. Several business have direct access to it, such as: The Works, Starbucks, T By Daniel, Little Shop of Ice Cream, and there are of course many other businesses nearby. Realistically, most of its use is during the late Spring and Summertime. There's a wonderful Winter Festival which completely packs out, and a handful of other things in the fall - otherwise, this place is alive in the summer. There's a few concert series which takes place here, and other festivals. What has recently brought up the profile and crowds in the last year is the giant screen they've installed. Yeah, it took a screen to draw the crowds, but it's still a lot of fun regardless, and has a very unifying, community feel. At least twice a week during the summer, they play mostly throwback, fun movies. There's great picture quality, and the sound is far better than what you may expect. It's also been used for big sporting events, such as Blue Jays and Raptors playoff runs, and at the time of writing: the 2016 Euros. What a great way to enjoy supporting your team with others, and for no cost. It's also been a great way to help support the downtown businesses - which are mostly local and independent. More and more is happening here, and importantly: it's increasingly successful. For example: this year they started doing free workout classes, such as yoga and zumba. Not my thing personally, but they've been pretty well-attended. There's a growing sense in the city that this is a great place to be. It's a remarkable alternative and achievement for a city often known for sprawl, lack of activities and lacking culture. I hope that sense of community and supporting local would spread throughout the city, but I'm happy it's at least in one place for now.

This review is specific to their VIP area. You'd think from a chain that if they offer an…read more'experience' and charge the same amount that you should get that same experience and service. However, after having visited the VIP areas at Yonge and Eg. as well as Don Mills, and then coming here, there's clearly a gap. I'd hyped it up to my wife and sold her on it, though the ticket was about $8 more and the same show was playing 15 minutes later on a regular screen. The lounge area was nice enough, but still a bit behind the others I'd been to. I also experienced what another reviewer mentioned when the theatre was only ready a few minutes before showtime. You really had to place your order immediately upon getting seated. Honestly, none of the above really mattered, but what did was my disappointment in seeing clearly inferior seats from what I'd had at other VIP locations, and then even worse - far less leg room. Then, once I was seated, I discovered the seats don't have power recline since it's just by leaning back, and there are no elevated leg rests. The pampered service was always a nice little touch for me when going to VIP, but really it was mostly about having far more leg room. Here, it was barely more than a typical theatre. A big letdown being taller and my legs getting sore more easily as I age (sadly). Also, my wife's arm tray didn't tilt in order to be able to have food in front of her. The fact that they charge the same price ($22/ticket) as other locations despite off by some distance in seating comfort is what bothers me. I get that there's still the personalized service, but you still pay for that in the food cost and tip anyway. The name should perhaps change to "S.I.P" as it's really just a somewhat important service rather than 'very'. I guess they're trying to pull things off in the suburbs that they wouldn't in the city and hope people don't know better.
