The Tuesday offer was around $19 per person, which we felt was a good value for the VIP experience. We arrived about 10 minutes early and spent some time relaxing in the VIP lounge before the movie. The lounge was comfortable, and there was a bar where you could order both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. There are nicer, cleaner washrooms too. One of the highlights for us was being able to borrow a closed-captioning device, this service should be available for non-VIP seats. As non-native English speakers, we really appreciated this, especially for a movie that was almost three hours long. The captions made it much easier for us to follow the dialogue and enjoy the movie without constantly worrying about missing something. We also ordered boneless chicken wings directly from our seats. The food was decent and reasonably priced, and the service was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to help. We even asked for some water, and they brought it right to our seats. Overall, this was our first Cineplex VIP experience, and we really enjoyed it. The comfortable lounge, closed-captioning option, seat-side food service, and friendly staff made the whole movie night feel much more relaxing and enjoyable than a regular theatre visit. The gentleman checking us in was friendly and courteous. I think he was also the one who started our movie, and cleaned up after when the movie was done XD There are no more staff selling tickets anymore; they are all done at the ticket kiosks right when you enter. The gentleman scanning the tickets also stands in the very front near the entrance doors. After you enter, you can then purchase your snacks and drinks, and play arcade games. This theatre seems to be in the middle of getting rid of their red old/dirty theatre seats - I guess it is finally time to change them! The washrooms were also tidy and clean.

Staff here are friendly. Personally I think it's an underrated spot. The giant escalator ride up to the movie theatre is neat since it overlooks 3 other floors. There's a small arcade and seating area inside. It's family friendly. They have a good selection of Hollywood blockbusters and IMAX 3D movies, Korean movies, international and indie films. I came here with friends to watch a comedy movie after having dinner and drinks nearby. We had a great time.

It was a really great film experience but it wasn't an authentic IMAX theatre as I was told by staff. It's a regular theatre that was converted. But it was the awesome staff I wanted to thank! I ordered my ticket at the concessions stand and James was very friendly and helpful. He even explained in detail each of the 3 print outs of receipts and tickets he gave me! As a long time film goer at Cineplex this is very rare but I loved the extra service from James. Give this man a raise now! I got to the theatre and the ticket scanning was pretty quick and smooth (I ordered my ticket online), and considering there was a line of about 4 people in front of me. I headed toward the washroom and it was pretty clean, there was also a cleaning staff member at here at the time. I headed to the concession counter and there were long lines here. I couldn't see the poutine list on the menu screen on the overhead but it's a VIP theatre so they must have poutine available. After a few minutes of waiting in line, it was my turn to order. I asked if I could order a poutine. The lady at the counter said I have to go around to the vip bar/food section to the left of us. That was kind of annoying, after waiting in this line. So I went to the correct area and ordered. They said it would take about 10 minutes for my order to be ready. It was ready in about 8. That was good. The poutine came in a large flat white takeout box. Typically at the other cineplex's I've been to, the poutine came in a smaller more compact brown takeout box. The one I received today felt very obnoxious when I opened it in the theatre and was eating it while the movie was playing. The lid was just so big and it stuck out. As for how the poutine was, the fires were good with a fair amount of cheese curds. However, the gravy was really thick and there was way too much of it. Because it was a big flat box they only put in a layer of fries so to me it seemed they over did it on the gravy because there was so much space in the box. Mind you, the box wasn't full (it would probably amount to the aforementioned small brown box at other locations). Ultimately, the gravy ruined it because I was getting globs of thick gravy. And it was different to scrap of or avoid it because I was in the dark. To conclude, if you're looking forward to a poutine to eat while at the movies, go to the scotiabank location.

I felt that using my gift cards for lunch would be a nice treat. I used one of my tickets to reserve a spot to see Michael. I then drove over to this theatre after running errands. The downside coming here on a Saturday is that there aren't a whole lot of open parking spaces. I saw one person drive off. I swooped in and backed my car into this spot. Otherwise, I would have had to park a lot further. Maybe coming here on a weekday would be better parking-wise. I walked into the building. Your regular cinemas are straight ahead. VIP is on the right. It felt fancy being greeted by a friendly male staffer with a pool table and pretty chandeliers behind him. He let me know that I was in VIP theatre 2, which was to my left. Nice! I walked by the bar. It was also pretty and rather posh. I needed to use the washroom. The women's is set up like the other VIP ones that I have been to. There's memorabilia everywhere. The stall that I used was clean. It was great. When I walked into theatre 2, two female staffers welcomed me. One asked if I needed any help finding my seat. It was my first time here. I gave her my seat number and she was great pointing out where it was. She also said to wave at her if I wanted anything to eat or drink from the VIP menu. I looked at it. I immediately knew what I wanted. I waved at them to take my order. One of them came over, who was friendly and great. My order consisted of the following: - Wagyu beef gyoza - Corn ribs - Large Diet Coke I paid with two Cineplex gift cards that were loaded digitally in my Cineplex app. I managed to use up the balance on one of them. I also earned Scene+ points for this order. Easy peasy! I got another friendly woman who first brought over my Diet Coke. It was cold and lasted for the entire duration of the movie. It was great. She came back with my food, along with wet wipes and napkins. I thanked her and had lunch. The wagyu beef gyoza were delicious. Each one had a lot of yummy filling. The wrapper was crispy. There was a lot of sauce. It had more ginger than soy going on. It was enjoyable. I loved the corn ribs. They were lightly battered and had the best seasoning. The corn was perfect. I loved them so much. I loved the recliner. I got to put up my feet to watch this movie. There's also a USB port to charge your phone if you need to. So practical! Michael, the movie about Michael Jackson, was excellent. I appreciate him even more after having watched this movie. I liked the picture quality and sound. I was fully into watching this entire flick. So good! Afterwards, I used the washroom again before I headed home. I walked by this theatre and there was a Michael Jackson cutout. It wasn't here before the show. It should have been! It's perfect to pose and take photos. I loved taking in a movie here and getting the VIP experience. This review is only on our XSCAPE experience…read more Small arcade area by the entrance of the theatre with an assortment of games. Difficultly levels range from easy (push a button/pull a lever without regard for anything) to more challenging (push a button on time with the screen, moving claw arms, etc.) Our recently turned 4yo has a blast here, though some of the games are still too challenging. As this is quite close to home, we've already been there 4 times in the last 2 months. The claw machine by the entrance is a good one, it has two sides to potentially play. The timed-play on the right side can give a large prize, but if that doesn't come up with anything, the left side is play-until-you-win, so you never should leave empty handed. My kiddo has redeemed a palm-sized dice, an airhead candy, and a Mario toy with the eticket credits as well on top of the claw machine wins. The venue is clean, spacious as most arcades get, and better lit than expected for a game room in a theatre.

This theatre has been around and the most unique aspect is its comfortable recliner seats. Be sure to reserve & sit near the front rows for the big screen experience. The theatre visitors have steadily increased since the theatre upgrades and tickets can be ordered online ahead of time, before pickup at the gates. The screen is bright and the Imagine XP cinema rooms no longer have screen glare during bright scenes. We do enjoy the convenience of coming to this theatre. The Imagine XP cinema room featured larger 4K laser projection and a booming Dolby Atmos surround sound that even gave me Apple Watch hearing warnings during prolonged immersive scenes. The leather seats were also relatively new. Skip it or hit it? The great experience in a recent matinee will encourage us to come back to this Imagine theatre more often.
