Stopped by this cafe in while waiting for our bus to leave Windsor. For a small and tastefully furnished coffeehouse, they had quiet a variety of F&D. We got a cortado and avocado cake. Both were really good, with special mention to the avocado cake as you could actually taste the avocado within. The baristas were friendly and accommodating. The warm covered patio at the back seemed a comfortable option than the in-cafe and at the front seats. Oh, the clean public toilets are located by the patio also. Shops and restaurants are also inside the roofed Windsor Royal Shopping Center which made for a better shopping experience as it was raining. There was an absolutely delightful smell in this cafe, and methinks that it was cinnamon, which probably should surprise anybody considering the name. However, I've never experience a cafe before where they actually have a signiture smell, so I guess there is that. I basically came here for a coffee, and was probably one of the first here, though I noticed that a number of cyclists had also turned up. Anyway, this was quite a nice cafe, and they made a pretty decent coffee as well. read more

Really loved this little cafe in Windsor. There's some outdoor and indoor seating. I recommend eating indoors if you can snag a table. It's cold outside! They have a nice selection of treats and eats. I had a jacket potato with lettuces on the side. They have so many different drinks. The baristas and servers are friendly and patient. Free wifi is awesome as always. After a hot tea and a sandwich, you can go shopping or explore the cute downtown area of Windsor! I so want to come back! read more

Really enjoyed an afternoon stop at this little cafe. It is located in a very busy spot but they have done what they could to make it comfortable with great couches comfortable chairs and large cocktail tables. There is also an outdoor area with chairs and bistro tables. With everyone under the sad impression they can make a coffee drink Cinnamon Cafe is far better than all the Starbuck wannabe's. The flat white I had was creamy and truly delicious. And then there is the cinnamon roll. It is phenomenal! The icing melts beautifully if you take them up on their offer to serve it warm. Personal advise though, don't lick the plate the other patrons will judge you (but it's worth it!) read more

The sign of a GOOD local coffee shop - Lycra-clad cyclists! And yep, this place ticks the boxes! I picked up one of their famous cinnamon buns while on a tour through Windsor. It was well worth the wait in line, absolutely delicious moist and gooey- especially good warmed up a bit. But the staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive. I tried to point and ask for the bun I had my eye on, but was ignored and given another one. When I got home I checked my credit card statement to find that I was charged the dine-in price, not the discounted take-out price that was printed on my receipt. My card was charged about 30% more than what I agreed to pay in the store. Thankfully my credit card company quickly corrected this for me. If you're paying with a credit card here, keep your receipt and check that it matches what's on your statement. This came as a disappointing surprise. read more

GET THE FLAT WHITE! ESPECIALLY if you're NOT a fan of coffee. I thought coffee was supposed to taste burnt, I thought it was MEANT to be sour. Now I see what the fuss was about. I've since ordered flat white's at a number of places, (including the eponymous Flat White in london) and this place beats them. OH AND IT'S CHEAP!! WOW Best of both worlds! I do wish there were power outlets, but it's no big deal. Before you order a flat white anywhere, ask them what the difference is between a small latte and flat white, if they don't say that the shot is pulled for about half the time in a flat white (leaving out the bitter and sour extracts from the second half of the extraction, this is called risetto) then you're not getting the coffee you deserve! SOME TIPS: -DONT PUT SUGAR IN YOUR COFFEE: Get a tab of chocolate, i'm partial to a piece of toblerone, and take a little bite of your chocolate and let the coffee melt it in your mouth. You get the proper texture of the coffee, without having to mix the sugar in, and you get the sweetness of the chocolate. THe mixture is divine. -Get the cinnamon discount card- It's a small saving, but no keeping track of pesky punch cards or loyalty apps. -If you're very lucky and Bruno is working, a Bruno Flat White™ is the best of the best. - The cinnamon bun is really good too read more

This was the closest experience we had to having "tea" while in England. It fit the bill nicely. Quaint shop with tasty cakes and drinks near the train station.
