The Reds HOF is pretty on point. I was impressed. They have tons of game used materials, cool statues, interactive displays etc. The coolest thing IMO were the cases of baseball cards. They had every team set of Reds going back to the tobacco card years in these big pull out display cases. I thought that was very cool. I got some pictures of some Eric Davis gear for my buddy, and spent about an hour inside the HOF (You can spend longer, for sure). Definitely worth a visit, and especially with the Groupon for $9.00. Great deal and a must stop if you are going to a Reds game or are in the area.

During the years I lived near Cincinnati Pete Rose was at the top of his game. I was very sad to hear about his death. At that time I said I bet he'll get into the Baseball Hall of Fame now! Well at least due to the Hall of Fame rules change he's finally eligible to be inducted. In Florida I have been to his restaurant lots of times. It's a mini shrine to his memory. I'm a believer in forgiveness of his mistakes and letting his physical athletic performance be the determining factor in his admittance to the Hall of Fame! So there it is.....I'm glad Pete Rose lived a long life. I should be so fortunate.

The fiancée graduated from the University of Alabama and is used to Bryant Denny Stadium and was not to use to this stadium size. I went to a Division 2 school, so the football stadium is smaller. Finding our parking spot was easy to find and checking in to get inside was a simple process. The crowd was not as big as an Alabama game (I am not an Alabama fan), but it was energetic. The only minor problem I had was the con session stand food. The hot chocolate was too watery and the nachos were okay. Overall, we had a fun time watching our first Big 12 football game! We stayed for the whole game; even though it was snowing. Cincinnati did lose to the horned frogs, but it was fun. The marching band for Cincinnati sounded great as well! :)

I came back recently for a game against my Alma Mater and have to say that this place was rocking for a little bit. It's too bad that Wes Miller is incapable of coaching a basketball team because the crowd was booing before we ever got to halftime. I met a kind manager named Stewart or something along those lines. He is a great example of what every team should look for in a manager: fluffy, capable of grabbing balls, and on top of it! The seats weren't that comfy but oh well. This place has the chance to move to 5 stars if they start winning some ball games. I don't see that happening with Wes Miller, but who knows. An arena is only as good as its fans make it. Edit: Upon more recent developments... Another thing that was a bit off putting was when Stewart (the manager) asked if he could "top me off."
