The service advisors don't answer the phone. I have bought two cars from them and will never buy another.

My son test drove a new Outback and after speaking to me he called Friday afternoon to put a deposit to hold the car until he could get there on Monday. He is a paramedic and was starting a 36 hour shift. The sales manager Corey Janda said they would not take a deposit because this was a high demand car and my son had a trade in that they might not offer him trade in value for which might mean he wont want to buy the car. SO I guess that means they might have a difficult time selling this high demand car. Hmmm makes sense..... to no one. This is one place I wouldn't send my worst enemy to. And if this is how they treat their customers when supply is low they definitely won't be getting my business when dealerships are struggling to make a sale again. Customer service is everything. It should be every dealerships top priority. Especially over how fast can we sell this car. read more

We have been going to this place for almost 4 years now to have our outback checked and all. Nothing but good service, however we just bought a new 2019 Ascent and we were one of the few owners who bought a RECALLED car and so my husband went to have it checked. He got a loaner car, a new Crosstrek and used it to go to work. At the end of the day he was not able to replace the gas because he was in a hurry to go home so I could use the car to go to my job. Gas was barely used and now this dealership is asking us to pay $7. Such stingy people. If you were not selling a RECALLED car then we would not be going to use a loaner anyway!! read more

To say I was shocked would be an understatement. My 80 year-old mother, who has done business with Ciocca for quite a few years - traded in a leased car in September 2020. I came into the picture in the last month, helping my parents to relocate closer to me. During the process of planning to sell their used car from Ciocca - I found some startling issues. Some of the blame has to be put on my mother, for being naive and trusting - since she has previously bought at Ciocca. They sold her a 2014 Subaru Forester - only in fair condition - for $9334 (way over KBB and Edmunds - good for Ciocca Subaru, nice profit margin). My mother wanted a maintenance agreement. Well, the Ciocca Finance guy did a great job - and sold her 6 contracts, totaling $7840. Talk about raking someone over the coals - definitely a lack of conscience in the Ciocca Subaru Finance dept. The good news, is that I found the problem, and am cancelling all of the contacts today. I hope the Finance Rep has to payback some of the commission they were paid on these rip-off transaction. I really wish I was able to speak to him sooner instead of being given vague answers in email by others I have messaged and the ignored on facebook and emails trying to get answers. I ordered a Subaru Forester with Mark P. He made the buying experience really easy. Called me every week with updates on my order with great communication. Way better than my previous two experiences with car orders at Chevy and Ford. Jason in finance was very low key and not your normally expected dealership high pressure F&I manager. If offered a "sweet" deal to pay your car loan in bi-weekly payments, it is explained to you how wonderful, fantastic, save tons of interest and you will be able to pay off your loan faster, by using a third party loan company-Pegasus. BEWARE: Pegasus is a third-party company that facilitates your auto loan payments directly the financial institution you have your approved loan through. Pegasus is no way connected to any financial institution (www.pegasuspay.com). A blank check with your routing and checking account number will be requested by Ciocca Finance Dept to set-up the bi-weekly or monthly payments; you will receive a pretty printed out calendar with the due dates highlighted. Please do this leg work yourself; it will save you a migraine. 1)- call Pegasus, confirm your account is with them, 2)-provide your institution's loan account number, it will help with identification when the funds are sent to them 3)-contact your loan institution to inform them of the incoming third party payments on your behalf, the name of the company, etc. Mainly the third party collects your payment and sends it to your loan institution "by the due date". The point of this review is Buyer Beware, trust yourself and connect the financial specifics on your own. We learned the hard way and after the fact. Thank you. read more

I purchased my second Subaru Outback at Ciocca; I would not recommend having your vehicle serviced here. I was told that my front rotors were warped and needed to be resurfaced. Despite having no vibration or pedal pulsation, I foolishly agreed. Upon getting the vehicle back, the brake pedal has an unacceptable travel distance before stopping. I've purchased 2 new Subarus from Ciocca and have always been pleased. First one was from Ben Walsh and this last one was from Alyssa Bragg. I'm a negotiator, I know my numbers and I know what I'm willing to pay, so to say the least I can be a pain. Ciocca delivers. Drove over an hour to look at an advertised used car. When I arrived on time to meet my appointment, I was handed over to a NEW car sales rep and told the car I went to see wasn't even available, even though it is still advertised on their website. Then the upsell began. When they did introduce me to another used vehicle, it had far more miles than the original car I wanted to look at and it was a lot more money. It was full of scratches and way above Kelley Blue Book value. I love Subaru's, but not this dealership. read more

Sales department really knows how to sell. After that it's all downhill. I have had my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek in for service on the wiper blades that intermittently worked, but eventually just quit on me. Each time I went (45 minute drive that I wish I wasn't making on a leased car!) the people working said they fixed it! They haven't! The assistant service manager was very full of himself when I brought the car two days ago. He was sure he knew just what was wrong and told me if anything happened again to call him. When I brought it back today I told him and his only response was "I hear ya" then he packed up and left. This dealership is a joke and I would never recommend it to anyone. This is the last time I am ever getting a Subaru. Also I currently have a loaner car while my wipers are getting fixed, but I can't take it on the turnpike because it has pending violations already! I called back and the woman on the phone in the loaner department told me to just go on the turnpike and deal with violations later! Very unprofessional. Eventually she just hung up the phone on me. In summary, this is where I bought my first new car 2016 Subaru Legacy 2.5 Premium. And most likely, for now, this is where I'll buy cars in the future as long as I am living within a reasonable distance. We all know the kind of research and rounds we make to different dealerships before the keys are in your hands. For the first time in almost a month and after about five dealerships in the adjoining states, I felt that I was treated like a customer here at Ciocca. Initially, I was paired with Michael (Mike) Mohr. He didn't like the price I had in mind, so I walked. But they soon called back and took the deal. Not sure if this was a sales tactic but it worked for both parties nonetheless. I don't care how good the dealership lounge is or if the place smells like cookies. The place is indeed very nice to take a seat, have a beverage, and look at accessories, etc. But after all, price and service take the cake. The next day, since Mike was away, I met with Andrew and then Justin Haas and basically everything went very smooth. They even called Enterprise Rental car company down the street to come pick my car up, and threw in a couple of free swag. Mike Mohr continually followed up to make sure everything was going well. Overall, I experienced a very polite and helpful staff and not ounce of rudeness or carelessness displayed. The car itself is great except the fuel economy which is way below the EPA, but hopefully the service can address it. I know isn't the review for the car, I digress. The only two minor items were that I wasn't clearly informed that the certificate of origin comes in my mail before I can go to a DMV to get my own title since it was done out of state, and it took a little while, and that they lost the spare key but they did order one quickly and they also resolved the DMV issue promptly, and that's what counts. If you're in the vicinity of Allentown, PA and are in the market for any new car, certainly give Ciocca more than just a thought. I highly recommend this dealership. read more

Usually prospect of buying a new car is often associated with dread of haggling and trying to avoid being up-sold, and overall just stressful experience. This was not the case with Subaru in Allentown at all! So stress-free, we were pleasant!ly surprised. We contacted the internet department for a specific Outback we were looking at, and Jennifer right away gave us the best price out of anywhere we looked (within 1-2 hour driving radius). We set-up an appointment to come in the very next day. She also clarified that they would be able to handle NJ tax and registration for us. When we came in, Jake from the internet department took over finalizing the sale. When on-site, we realized the exterior/interior color combination was not as we expected. And were allowed to switch for another vehicle in a color scheme we liked better in person, while still honoring the price we agreed upon. This was fantastic. No other extra fees that were not disclosed before (such as no silly destination charge etc). Just tax, registration, and doc fee, all as agreed upon prior. Jake was very patient, showed us all the car functionalities. Even set up follow up Zoom call in a few weeks to go over any buttons/functionality questions we might have arise. Changing to one star for service department. The new vehicle was delivered to me with dirty seats and leather on the door. I paid for the fabric protection, water sucked right in from rain! I brought the car back for a hitch. I was told the vehicle was ready. When I went to pick it up, I was told the hitch wasn't on. I received my first monthly bill, but not my plate. Now Im paying for a vehicle sitting in my driveway and unable to use due to an expired temporary plate! I paid for the paint protection and received the vehicle dirty. Sean is the only manager that makes things happen in this place. As soon as my lease is up, I'm taking my business elsewhere. read more

Every time I receive a loaner I am charged for gas. I bring the loaner back with a full tank of gas but they say it must be over the full line. I don't understand it. I do not like anything about this dealership. I bought one car there and I would never go back again. read more

My story begins on May,16, 2021 with the EXCELLENT service I received from the Ciocca Service Department. Mike Saraceni and the Ciocca mechanics were able to detect and correct an obscure problem with the EyeSight system in my 2018 Legacy. This obscure issue went undetected for months by my prior Subaru dealership. Mike's Team also alerted me to additional preventive maintenance that should have been performed but was overlooked by my prior Subaru dealership. To alleviate any concerns, Mike sent me videos of my car being serviced as verification that the work was being performed. My prior dealership is now my former dealership. While Service repaired my Legacy, I was provided a loaner Outback free of charge. I fell in love with the car. When service on my Legacy was completed, I returned the Outback and told Mike I would definitely be back to purchase an Outback with Ciocca. On June 5, 2021, I contacted Ciocca and spoke with Samantha Fedele, Internet Sales Specialist/Leasing Concierge. I told her I was interested in trading in my Legacy for an Outback and provided her with my must-haves regarding options/features. Samantha went right to work. That same day, I received an email from her with two vehicles that met my requirements, and also included the financing options. On June 7, 2021, I made an appointment to look at the vehicles, and purchased one of them on the very same day. There were absolutely NO surprises. The finance options were as indicated in her email, and I selected the best option for my budget. Dan Berry, Finance Manager, streamlined the whole process and made it effortless ... and painless. I was impressed how quickly the entire process took. Jeff Staver, Sales Specialist, took the time to go over each and every safety feature with me; including the navigation system. He instructed me which applications to download from the Google Play Store which allowed me to program my car remotely from my cell phone. How cool is that! Jeff did NOT hurry through the process; he stated it takes as much time as it takes. He wanted me to feel confident with the cars safety features before I drove off the lot. Absolutely horrible experience at this dealership. We went in on a Saturday to look at a car with a pre-approval from the bank we wanted to use and decided to run an app for that car. Due to time constraints we decided to come back Monday. They pushed back on this trying to push things along but we ended up leaving nothing done. Come Monday we call and it was a drug out process where they submitted our app to several banks but not the one our approval was through, then told us they submitted it where we asked several times but that was not true as we called the lender. They also told several lies throughout the day leading us till 6:30pm before they had a reply from the bank we where pre approved with. Then lied about why the down payment was higher and monthly payment saying we lied about income. So we decided not to get a car as they clearly lie and don't listen to what customers want. After our decision I see a voicemail from them I missed with yet another story that didn't line up to the conversations we had with them. read more

Absolute worst experience ever.. first off, they constantly push unnecessary service at the tune of thousands of dollars. I decided to entertain the idea of a new car, from the minute I walked in the showroom is was the hardcore press. I told then what I wanted to spend, and the first go around was $250 more than what I told them. Then he was pushing me to lease, which I told him I was not interested in. he proceeded to ask what number I had in mind, when I told him he said it was doable, and he would consult the manager. when he came back the number was still almost $200 more than I said.. when I ran the numbers it seemed they were adding the money they were offering me for my trade into the price of the new car. They think people are stupid, not to mention the whole old school way of back and forth to the manger .. oh and by the way when I wanted to look around the lot they kept saying let us bring a car up here.. so I wasn't given a choice of the car or color I wanted.. it was very strange. when I wanted to look at the used cars the salesman said I'll bring one up.. hmm very suspicious! if you are reading this review BEWARE!! We had already been to one dealer, as a matter of fact we had put a deposit on a 2019 Forester, but we had a very negative experience when we went back to close. Our daughter had purchased her Subaru from Ciocca, so we decided to try there. Our sales rep was knowledgeable and friendly and there was no pressure to buy. Ciocca's selection of just Foresters was greater than the entire inventory of all vehicles at the other dealer. Ciocca seemed genuinely interested in our business and we left that day with a new car... Driving a new car with all the new electronic features can be a little intimidating. After the sale, we had a preliminary introduction from our sales associate and we received a follow-up email from their concierge consultant to set up a time to come back once we were a little more familiar with the car to give us thorough training in the new features. We were looking for a Subaru with all the latest safety features for our grandkids to be driven around in safely. We found an Impreza hatchback with the Eyesight system, blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic sensors with only 6600 miles on it at Ciocca Subaru. The car had been a loaner for the dealership previously. We went to negotiate the deal and were treated very well by AshleyRose, and even though she'd only been there a few months, was extremely knowledgeable about the car. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant and knowledgeable. The service department lost both my registration and insurance cards when I brought my vehicle in for inspection. My glove compartment paperwork was also rummaged through most likely in an attempt to find my missing cards that no one could find. I was promised a follow up call the next day and none was received. I had to initiate the call. No one seemed to be concerned that my personal information was either stolen, thrown out, or put in another's car for all I know. Also my bill states that "customer declined cabin air filter replacement." This wasn't even addressed to me and I had no knowledge of it being an issue. Very disappointed and have lost all trust with this dealership. I'll be going back to my trustworthy mom and pop mechanic going forward. read more

Despite my lack of preparation, the Ciocca team cheerfully assisted me while I figured out the process for transferring my out of state license, among other unexpected headaches on my end of the transaction. Bob, and the team have since followed up to ensure that I am familiar with all of the features of my new Outback, and that everything is going well with my new car. We inherited a car from my father. Wife took it to this dealer for a recall. They up-sold to my wife replacing the fluids and spark plugs. Our fault for listening to them, but all of that was done only 5k miles previously. The records were in the glove box and on-line since my dad had it done at another Subaru dealer. We have purchased several cars here. Not anymore though. I will go out of my way to another dealer if needed. Can't believe they scammed my wife like that. Maybe their sales people are honest. Maybe. Service depart is absolutely awful, charge an arm and a leg and never ever do the work correctly, have had an issue every single time I'm there, from incorrect oil changes to today when I had paid for 4 new tires to put on and drive away to realize they never put the new tires in, car was there for a full week and nothing was fixed or right, the service manager Joe Adams is a complete ass hole and got in my face and was so rude, so unprofessional. Asked me why I even came back to him with a problem, maybe because ITS YOUR JOB TO FIX IT. Then wanted a refund and they weren't going to give it to me then didn't refund me the right amount. Everything they do at this place is a complete screw up and they're scamming people, charging people for services and items they're not performing or putting on your car. We bought a 2012 Subaru Legacy from a private owner and we brought it twice so far to Ciocca Subaru service department and all I can say is that they are friendly, professional and the department is state of the art not to mention very clean. I would never do business with ciocca Subaru again. I bought my first car from them in March of 2021, I am a 23 year old female and I feel like they took advantage of that. They sold me a 2018 Subaru impreza under the impression that this car was basically brand new it never had any issues and the previous owner took very good care of it. It is one of their "certified" pre owned cars which obviously means nothing because the car squeals every time I brake. I have taken the car back to them over three times with no success in solving the issue only for them to tell me there's nothing that can be done for it. Then found out this is an issue particular with that car but was never disclosed that information when purchasing as if they thought driving around with a new car squeaking all the time is something normal. I am extremely disappointed that this is my first car buying experience I wish I would've went somewhere else. read more
