James was my sales associate and I can't speak highly enough about how thorough and prepared he was. After purchasing the car, I noticed a leftover residue on the trim (likely from the detailing process) and within an hour James had already coordinated a service/detail inspection and followed up with me several times prior to that appointment. At the time of my service/detail appointment, Ethan was fantastic, walking through all the steps/process and keeping me updated of their plan. Rather than keeping me sitting around the waiting room, they got my lyfts to and from my home and continued to check in with me (even as far as sending me photos of the repair itself)! When I came to pick up the car, they inspected the repair with me to make sure I didn't have any other concerns, and went as far as to take my car through the car wash and top off with gas before I left, which I have never had a dealership (private or corporate) do before. Additionally, as part of my Maxcare plan, the repair was covered with no cost to me. I have owned cars through Carmax before from different locations, but they (and other local dealers) should take note of their commitment to customer service, hospitality, and going above and beyond. Their internet department reached out to me via phone and email as soon as they opened, and I spent the afternoon emailing their internet rep, Madeline. She was great!! I explained what we were looking for and what we wanted to do, and I didn't get any of the usual, "We have a huge sale going on....when can you get here??" or "We can work on something, but you need to come here, when can you make it in" crap that every other dealership tries to pull!!! They should all take lessons from Daniels!!! Madeline was very detailed with what we could do with regards to the vehicle we wanted, and we thank her for that!!! We rushed to the dealership that night, got there at 6 (they close at 7), and fair warning, it's very intimidating! It's beautiful, huge, and surrounded with minimum $50k vehicles. We were there to look at something pre-owned and inexpensive!! EVERYONE there that night was very friendly and attentive to us, and we met with the sales rep, David Simoes. He brought the car around, we drove it, went over it's presentation, and then discussed numbers even though it was closing time. Long story short....we put the deposit down and picked it up at the end of the week!! Finance manager wasn't pushy, we went over everything, took maybe an hour and we walked out, but not without help with connecting the phone to the Bluetooth! Anyway, all in all, great experience! We started at Rentschler to begin our process of buying a new vehicle but looked at several other dealers- near and far. We were not happy with the treatment at these other dealers. We went straight back to Rentschler and are extremely happy we did. We were already satisfied with the mechanical team in the service department over the years. Bob Kuntz, parts advisor, always updated us with the status of any needs for the vehicle before automatically replacing part(s), called when the vehicle was completed, and treated us with respect. Now that we have purchased a vehicle at Rentschler, we know that the respect for customers is also in the sales department. Adam Gazdalski-sales consultant, Paul Woodring- sales consultant, Greg Williams- sales manager, and John Knapp- finance manager were all pleasant to deal with and took the stress of buying a new vehicle off of our plate. The certified pre-owned vehicle we purchased at Rentschler was super clean inside and out. I went on line found a car. There was an appraise my car link. It said 23995 they sent me an email…read moreto confirm. I went to the dealer they said idk where you got that. It showed in the email Scott family of dealerships. They said we will give you 18000 wtf 6000 less. Then they said 20000 and said my car was in a minor accident. So was the car I was looking at from them. But my car was worth less and their car was worth more than book value with an accident. Don't waste your time dealing with Scott cars. It's bait and switch you sit there 11/2 hours while they play ' let me run to my manager and see what I can do. I am trying for you'. What I found most offensive is they valued my car below the lowest just grade car of 21k. I do have scrapes on the rims and I do smoke but the rest of my car is great only 17000. And they say my car is below the lowest level of junk.
