Easy peasy. I got my mulch order this morning after ordering it just the other day. I was thrilled I wouldn't have to wait, as I was on a deadline. Everyone I looked into was priced around the same, but JR's had a coupon in the Advantage mail, so I thought "what the heck, let's do that". They told me between 8am and noon for delivery - it came at 8:30am. Perfect. The delivery guy was super nice and very careful to make sure he dumped my 10 yards exactly where I wanted it. I was a bit concerned I didn't have enough - the pile didn't look as big as I thought (I'm no expert). Well, as any mulch consumer knows, you can work at that pile all day and it looks the same as when it was dumped. I have PLENTY of mulch, and I'm thrilled. Good prices, super-friendly people, and great service. I couldn't be happier.

They have an arborist on staff who walked our grounds with the board and helped us identify tree needs and make long term plans for maintenance so we can factor that into our long term budget. Our sidewalk and parking lot is always cleared promptly and thoroughly when it snows. Walking from the bus stop I have wished more businesses contracted with Carrington because there is such a dramatic difference when you get to our sidewalk and the walking goes from treacherous to sure-footed.

With my yard being cut one direction one week and another direction the next. What happened in reality was their equipment didn't fit through my gate, so the backyard had to be push mowed. On occasion the crew forgot the mower and had to come back, twice I had to call. Today I received a bill with a $20 charge for blowing the grass clippings off of my yard because it wasn't cut for 9 days and it was long. Not my fault, they cut the grass on their schedule. I complained about this charge and also about the poor service. Paul, instead of being professional, cancelled my service. He didn't try to make it right or call, he just sent me an email that my service would be canceled.

I would not suggest this company to anyone. We had them come out to look at the health of our tree…read morenear our home. They were first difficult to even get out to the house. Their response time is dismal and their "answering service" is horrible. Finally when they did come out they suggested pruning and the sales representative (William) discussed trimming any branches (no matter how high) so that there were no branches over our roof. He sent through the proposal and we signed. Then when the team came (several weeks later with only 1 day notice) they were very unprofessional. They asked my husband to sign their sheet before the job was complete and then didn't remove the high branches. I called back 3 times and finally got in touch with William. He was not apologetic and said that I had misunderstood him. Jim, a foreman, came back to the house to discuss it with me and he was very kind and promised they would resolve the issue. When they came back I wasn't home and they did cut off a few of the higher branches but I still don't feel that it was worth the price or what William had promised me in the initial discussion. At this point there was nothing to do but pay the invoice which I did. I will never use them again. The whole experience was a mess.
