Got to the register and the cashier lady was incredibly rude. Asking for our ids (boys wanted beers for later). Guys showed their ids but the cashier wanted to see everyone's (only 2 beers and the rest gatorades and iced coffees). I'm pregnant and don't carry a wallet/ id since my husband pays for everything and drives me around... Cashier said "nope you're all together. I can't sell you this". Grabs all our items away and we're stunned. My husband is shocked and didn't think she was being serious. He said "no need to be rude" and we turned away. Never had this kind of treatment. We're all in our late thirties and those who wanted alcohol showed id. Good thing there are plenty other gas stations we can get hydration from but wow. I don't support businesses that treat customers like some adolescents trying to score a wine cooler and no whoppers

A few weeks back we stopped in at this convenience store while traveling home from Acadia National…read morePark. We originally pulled into the plaza to grab some coffee from the Tim Hortons next door but ended up stopping here to stock up on ice. This convenience store and gas station is fairly new and clean. The staff here was incredibly polite and their ice was cheap unlike some of the other stores in the area. We ended up buying a bag as well as some snacks for the road. Overall, I was impressed by this store and was surprised to see that they had a "The Waves" frozen yogurt section in the store.
