Super efficient service and friendly. I was impressed. A nice way to get your morning cup of Joe.

She replied well this isn't Frozen I just love it when people try to tell you how to do your job. I told her that I was sorry. I thought she was making mine and all she had to do was say I'm sorry this one isn't yours. I'll make sure that there's no whipped cream on yours when I'm finished with it, Instead She kept going on and on about how I was trying to do her job. I replied by saying when youwork in customer service you should be a lot nicer. She commented for all to hear , How would you like it if somebody was telling you how to Your job? I said actually I work in customer service and I do have people try to tell me how to do my job but I never lose my cool. The customer is always right. If you can't handle that, you shouldn't be working in customer service I got my drink and left as I was walking away. She was still complaining about me to other customers. She is probably in her late twenties. Early thirties. Dark hair. Honestly, because of her you have probably lost me as a customer at your store.

I ordered a cold brew with sweet cold foam. There is no screen at the speaker box so I can't see what she put in, but she didn't read it back to me, so at the window I noticed she put in sweet n low instead of foam. I wasn't rude or impatient; I understand it's hard to hear things through the head set. I even apologized even though I didn't do anything wrong, and told her I said sweet cold foam. She goes "oh. So you don't want sweet n low?" In a rude tone. And I go "no, just sweet cold foam". and she says "well /that's/ just cool and awesome" SO sarcastically and didn't even apologize for her error or snapping. I wasn't being rude or short with her at all, and she had the audacity to not control her sour mood and anger and make customers who didn't do anything to her, like me, feel upset. at this dunkin specifically, I have always had the worse experience not comparable to any of the other dunks nearby. One of the problems is the food is usually over cooked and/or they tend to forget to put all my items in my bag so I will have to check my bag at the window and tell them. I usually come here at least 2x per week and I will not be after this experience. I genuinely hope you guys realize it's really easy as baristas to put on a smile and be nice to people who are being nice to you. As one myself, we tend to have to apologize even when it's a customer's mistake, because we always try to "make the moment right" by creating the most positive energy we can. It is inexcusable and extremely immature that this crew member decides to take her anger out on innocent people who are really patient and pretty understanding (like me).

Shop has a nice assortment of tasty looking pastries as well and a cool, unpretentious vibe. Liz, the cashier, overheard my son and I talking about fishing (I have a goal of catching a fish in all 50 states :-)) so we asked if she perhaps had a recommendation on a spot to go. She suggested Fields Pond. Not only did I succeed in catching a fish but we had an even better time hiking the nice trails through the forest around the lake. So, many thanks to Chimera for the great coffee and perfect suggestion for where to wet a line!

Title: Great vibes, fantastic drinks, but skip the unsolicited lecture…read more We're visiting Bangor for the first time and were absolutely thrilled to stumble upon this spot while walking downtown. The atmosphere is exactly what you hope for in a local coffee shop--loved the aesthetic, the crowd was friendly, and having the lounge area next door is a fantastic touch. The drinks themselves? Delicious. The person at the register clearly knows how to pull a great shot and make a beautiful beverage. However, we had a really odd interaction while ordering. Without any prompting from us, the barista launched into a strange, unsolicited lecture about whether a Café Mocha is Italian or American, speaking to us as if we had never had coffee outside of the U.S. It was especially baffling given that we've visited Italy numerous times. We didn't ask for the history lesson, and being talked down to for no reason definitely left a sour note on an otherwise lovely visit. The bottom line: Absolutely come here for the cozy space and the high-quality drinks. Just hope the person at the register decides to skip the coffee trivia and just make the amazing drinks they clearly know how to make.
