To my knowledge, there are four of them, two in Cornelius and two in Huntersville although this one is on the edge of both Cornelius and Huntersville. Been going to them for years but this is probably the one least visited because of proximity to where I lived in Cornelius. Now that I have moved to Denver, I drive by it every day and have more reason to stop in. In the old days when I smoked, I would occasionally buy cigarettes here and an occasional lottery ticket. Most of the Cashion Stores are very friendly but for some reason, the folks here are not very friendly nor are they very helpful or organized. In the past couple of months, have stopped in several time for gas and the has not changed for any the better, Thankfully with gas, you normally pay at the pump so at least you can minimize contact. Only gas station in the immediate area so if you're low on gas, good idea to fill up otherwise drive a bit further and find someplace else.

After driving 4 hours I needed a potty break bad. They refused that I used it because it was cleaned already for tomorrow. Even though my husband was pumping $70+ for gas and they were open with a working toilet I wasn't allowed to pee. Needless to say, I went to their freshly cleaned bathroom ... because it was either the toilet or their lobby floor. The miserable, overweighted woman yelled that she was going to, and I quote, "kick my ass". Unfortunately, they wouldn't let my young son use the restroom either and they shut all the lights off while we were standing at the pump still pumping. This all happened within the "5 minute window". This place looks nice to stop for travelers, but they deserve zero business or consumer dollars. Might have been better if they told me they were closed instead of saying they're open, and taking our money without offering any customer service. Bottomline, if you say you're open for 5 more minutes, your whole shop is open for your customers for 5 more minutes. Don't shut the lights off on your customers with small children in the car, to pump the rest of your gas in the dark. Why were the lights on 10 minutes till 11pm when the hours say open till 10pm?? Make up your damn mind!

During the early morning, not a lot of traffic through the station. There are a lot of pumps and they have also have diesel fuel if needed. The convenience store is a decent size and can grab many items while gassing up. They also have an air pump for use, which is always a plus when needed. Found at the intersection of Gilead and Statesville Road, it's conveniently located off of I-77 if you live in the area or need a pitstop for gas or snacks passing through. There are also many other establishments located close to the gas station (post office, retail, food/drink, car wash, etc.). BP also does gas rewards/points for shopping at Harris Teeter, so that can be useful as well.

My friend paid for her things then it was my turn as we here in a small group. As teens, adults often find us annoying and treat us differently as they think we will cause trouble however my friends and I are seniors this year and have always been respectful as we all have jobs in customer service, chick fil a, McDonalds, Panera bread, all of us are aware of good service. And I'm guessing that's what the cashier was thinking "oh no a groups of teens", because and I was about to pay for my stuff and put my number in, the older cashier asked if I would like a bag and I said yes please. She then took my cash payment gave me my change, but did not bag my items. I asked her simply "oh do you have a bag I could use?" And she answered in the most disrespectful tone " I asked you if you wanted one and you said no", I then said "no maam I said yes I would like one" . And then she scoffed at me, bagged my items, dropped the bag infront of me in the counter and called for the next person. No "have a good day", just rolled her eyes. Me and my friends talked about how rude she was for the rest of our outing in Birkdale. As it completely ruined the vibe of the day. So moral of the story please Walgreens watch your employees because it takes only a few words to ruin a day.
