I was so apologetic for dropping the basket anf Taryn reassured me that spills happened often and to not worry myself. I offered to help and go get a replacement of the dropped item. Once again Taryn made sure to ease my concerns about causing the spill. Again, this particular location is always amazing but staff is 5star. There is a unwritten rule in the business certain things you just never be out of. Those are sugar, bread,eggs,milk and add water to that in today's world. I am just saying you can't let the computer do all your thinking and ordering for you. Publix you can do better than that. The only other thing I can complain about this store is the amount of prebaged produce with damaged or spoiled items. this is normally caused by rough handling while putting on a display. This is still the best option in stores around( all are to high priced) .

I know it probably sounds silly like why you don't call the main number and ask to be connected but it does not work out that easily. My wife and I are both on Social Security and every fall we meet with a licensed insurance agent, and we go over which is the best plan for us. Oddly enough, the best pharmacy for her and me are sometimes different due to the mix of drugs. She has several prescriptions for diabetic medicines that are fairly expensive, and I have several for COPD, Last year, while we had the same pharmacy, we had different insurance carriers. Also, part of the total picture is that under Medicare Advantage there are some dental and eye care coverage to consider. Biggest problem and the only reason for four stars is that at least one of my wife's diabetic mediations is generally on backorder I have the same problem with one of my medications for COPD. Not a problem because they are able to transfer the prescriptions to the Wal-Mart Pharmacy which has no problem getting the needed prescriptions. The inconvenience is that now I have to make two stops as opposed to one. I went ahead and changed Insurance Providers because my current one, Blue Advantage went up on the copay and they are no longer the lower cost provider plus the third party they use for Dental Coverage is a nightmare for both me and the health care provider. The Pharmacy is excellent, and the staff is also very good. We got both our Flu and Covid shots several months ago and they caught a potential problem which I had to delay getting the Covid Shot. I had a minor injury in my foot and was on a steroid called Pregnazone. They cautioned that the two in combination had the potential to reduce the effectiveness of both and they recommended holding off on the Covid Shot till I had completed the Pregnazone regime. Which i did. Glad they caught it. Drive through is a dream and I really like the connivence. I like this place and strongly recommend it.

I've been there before but it's been a while so wanted to see if it had changed. Got there a little after noon and they were closed despite the posted hours. On the way over, I had passed the East Lincoln Mini Mart which has a big sign out front, "Best Hot Dogs in Town". Stopped in and their kitchen was down so no Hot Dogs. One more place and that was Jay's in Denver but sign said, closed until 3pm. Ended up with roller Dogs at the Quik Trip Gas Station. Not the best but still not too bad. Repeated the same thing yesterday. City Lunch was closed despite the hours being 5:30am to 5:30pm. East Lincoln Mini Mart had their equipment back online, so I ordered two of them. No place to sit so I took them home since I only live about 10 minutes away. Building is not much to look at, but the Hot Dogs were incredible. The dogs were all beef and had great flavor and texture with a nice snap. Not normally a fan of slaw and I did not tell them "No Slaw". so they came with slaw. Something about North Carolina, everything comes with slaw. Nevertheless, the Hot Dogs even with the Slaw were delicious. Price was more than reasonable and a great value The sign boasting "Best Hotdog in Town" on the front of the building is accurate and the place lives up to the sign. Will definitely be back.

Not very helpful…read more Was trying to find a normal grocery staple called Tapioca Starch for a project at work. Looking for the granular starch and not the premade Tapioca Pudding. Tried the WalMart Supercenter in Statesville where I work with no luck says I was looking in the wrong area. I was looking in the baking section and she said I needed to look in the pudding mixes. On the way home, stopped at the WalMart Supercenter in Denver and could not find it either. Asked two employees who were doing customer shopping and their response was "What Tapioca" Went to customer service and got the same response, "What's Tapioca" When I got home, my wife said she had called Food Lion and the Tapioca was on Aisle 4 and they open at 7:00 am. When I got there the next day shortly after 7am, I went to aisle 4 and no Tapioca. When to the front of the store and there was a young lady there who I assume was a greeter. Asked her and she took me over to a manager and asked her. She did not know either but went on the store intercom and asked the store where it was at and she was told, Aisle 3. Back to Aisle 3. I may have been there but I could not find it. Walked back to the front of the store and asked the young lady again for help and her response was "I guess we don't have it" and shrugged her shoulders. No other indications of being able to help so I left the store. I finally did find Tapioca Starch however.

To my knowledge, there are four of them, two in Cornelius and two in Huntersville although this one is on the edge of both Cornelius and Huntersville. Been going to them for years but this is probably the one least visited because of proximity to where I lived in Cornelius. Now that I have moved to Denver, I drive by it every day and have more reason to stop in. In the old days when I smoked, I would occasionally buy cigarettes here and an occasional lottery ticket. Most of the Cashion Stores are very friendly but for some reason, the folks here are not very friendly nor are they very helpful or organized. In the past couple of months, have stopped in several time for gas and the has not changed for any the better, Thankfully with gas, you normally pay at the pump so at least you can minimize contact. Only gas station in the immediate area so if you're low on gas, good idea to fill up otherwise drive a bit further and find someplace else.
