And they were a 5 star until they started their loyalty card program. They would have been better off without one after using the one they chose. And I have asked myself that isn't something better than nothing? Normally yes. Except now I feel cheated. When I didn't have a loyalty card, I went every day and got my fuel, (I spend $30+ a day going to and from work) and usually bought a cup of coffee or something else. About once a week, they would either give me a free cup of coffee or one at a reduced price to commend my loyalty. And what's a cup of coffee cost them? Pennies I am sure, but it wasn't the cost, it was the gesture. The feeling I was being rewarded for my loyalty. Now, they took my free cup of coffee away and they tell me I have to earn it. OK. At $30.00 a day, I figured that I could still earn my cup of coffee a week. No. Now getting one penny, yes that's .01 cent for every gallon of gas I buy, it will take me 150 gallons of gas or $600.00+ to earn a cup of coffee. In contrast, for $600.00 at shell or Kroger, I would save approximately $12.00 in my fuel costs or .60 per gallon. That equates to 8 cups of coffee. I was told that if I spent more money on tobacco or alcohol that I would earn points faster. But aren't they a gas station? It wasn't about the money before, and I guess when it all comes down to it, it's about a cup of coffee. And they took that away.

I have been asked so many times if I would like to purchase a subscription. I don't like going here now as I feel pressure to purchase this. I will be taking my business to the new car wash in town. If I could select zero stars I would…read more My 2002 Honda Civic unfortunately broke down and had to be towed to the nearest mechanic. I had the misfortune of having it towed here. I called the location in the morning and when I mentioned that I thought it was head gasket issue the man on the phone scolded me and told me I had no idea what I was talking about. He gave me a grandiose lecture on how he knows all about cars and has been doing it for x amount of years. He was extremely rude and dismissive. He called me several days later and told me it was NOT a head gasket. I then took my car to the Meineke on the same road (where the man was very kind by the way) and they told me that my car did, in fact, have a severe head gasket issue. Not only is this mechanic extremely disrespectful, but he also apparently has no clue what he's talking about. I'm sorry but if a 20 year old woman knows more about cars than you do you may want to rethink your career. What a waste of time and energy.

John was absolutely a life saver!!! My tranny tapped out at a random gas pump in a random place so…read morethat left my brother and I needing a motel. So we stayed the chilly night and the next morning John sent a tow truck to pick us up. I had been traveling from Florida to Milwaukee and had previously stopped at a Mr. Transmission to fix the transmission (clearly was not fixed..) John and Curtis were amazing and got us back on the road by the end of day! I am so blessed and grateful to have met such an amazing person with a wonderful character! My brother's review: John is a man first, and awesome mechanic next! Had to get towed in to his shop unintentionally, and unbenounced but still service was rendered gleefully. The vehicle was of a family members, but treated as my own. John was more honest about what all could be wrong, but still reassuring of what could also be done. The part was miniscule but needing to be ascertained elsewhere. Although we waited hours till arrival of the part, John tailored to our needs and wants. All in all, made an preordained tragedy into a parable situation. Thanks again.
