I talked to John who said it was impossible because Thursday was completely booked and that he would need to order those tires special. I needed it done because I couldn't drive my car any longer, REALLY bad tires. So John said he would squeeze me in. I dropped off my car at 8:30am and hoped for the best. I called at 4:10 to see if it was done and he was just making up the bill. When I got there, he was still scrubbing the blue tape off of the new white walls. He insisted that he was going to get it all off before I left. Who does that?? To take the time making sure my tires looked nice, well that's just amazing!. When I drove away, it felt like I was driving a new car! The front end alignment was perfect. When I let go of the wheel (for a second) the car stayed straight as an arrow! Oh, and did I mention that my car is a 1991 Cadillac? Yep, John breathed new life into my beloved car. That car belonged to my father who passed away in 2008. I feel he is with me everytime I drive that car. John is a little quirky but he does a great and thoughtful job! I moved into the area in 2012 and didn't have a mechanic, well I certainly do now. I highly recommend Tire Zone. Don't let the places looks fool you, they are very good at what they do!

I was parked less than two minutes wondering my next move (my tire now flat) when you, Jeff, came outside your shop, walked towards me and said, "I can help you." Even typing those words I can feel all weight lifted from my shoulders. What a gift. Thank you. I said, "How do you know?" and you replied, " You look a bit lost." We chatted, Jeff grabbed a patch kit and he patched that decently sized tire hole. My day was saved. I am grateful for you- the owner- being so observant and breaking from your busy routine to check on a stranger. It has renewed my faith in the kindness of others. BUYER BEWARE: Ultimate Rides is ignoring mandatory Illinois auto laws. I purchased a vehicle and…read moreimmediately discovered severe powertrain failures (certified diagnostic report attached/available showing Transmission, Torque Converter, Fluid Pump, and engine cover seals and valve cover are bad). Under Illinois law 815 ILCS 505/2L, used car dealers are legally forced to provide a mandatory 15-day/500-mile powertrain warranty. Because driving the car in this condition will destroy the transmission entirely, I reached out to the dealership with the mechanic's report. They have completely ignored my messages. I have officially filed a consumer fraud complaint with the Illinois Attorney General's office today for warranty breach. Do not trust them to back the vehicles they sell if things go wrong. I have also uncovered other BBB complaints of the same thing. Also, the carfax report provided by them online and verified in person has false report of repairs. They charged a prep fee for vehicle inspection, underbody coating and various cleaning/fueling/advertising type things. They also explicitly were supposed to replace the battery, which they did not. That is the one thing they said i could come get, until i told them i would file a complaint if they did fix the issues or refund me my full price of 18,500.00 They coated right over the damaged parts. Do not purchase from this dealer!!!

The place used to run great I worked there about 13 years…read moreago and had to leave for family reason. I returned not too long ago to find the place in shambles. It is now called PLZ, and they treat their employees terribly. They have this young girl on 1st shift basically running the whole building. The supervisor, I think his name is Scott, doesn't do anything and let's this poor girl do his job. She is vastly under paid for what she has to do from what I saw watching her. She is always running around and working with maintenance to get everything fixed. And maintenance, what a joke. The "manager" of the maintenance department couldn't even change a car tire. He doesn't know anything about how the building runs or how to fix anything. He has 2 guys run his department. One guy fixes everything and makes all of the decisions, and the other does his paper work. The few conversations I had with this "manager", left me feeling sorry for his team having such an incompetent leader. They make poor decisions on how to run and are constantly having all the product go to an area called rework. Which should be called, we were not prepared and don't know what we are doing so fix it for us. Get rid of the maintenance manager, and promote that girl or at least pay her more. She was always making labels, directing the personnel, having us do the safety work, and running machines to cover for everyone. Take care, avoid this place if you want to be treated right.
