Sunoco off of Ladson road is in a very safe area of town. Moreover it's extremely easy to get in and out of in a relatively fast manner. Inside is wide open and relatively clean. While I didn't go through all the isles, it's better than some gas stations where you feel a bit antsy. The shelves are stocked with plenty of snack selections. Also for those who are "Mt Dew" nutcases like me, they have the exclusive Infinite Swirl in their fountain machine. Trust me - get it, it's awesome As for the employees the clerk was pretty nice and fast. I didn't inspect the bathrooms so nothing there to report. Also, I can't speak on gas b/c I didn't fill up. That means I'm not sure about pump speed, if they have window washing units or an air tank. But if you're just needing to stop on in, there should be no issues.

India replied that the ladies room is closed. The woman politely asked why there is no sign. India told the woman to leave the store! Pitiful and unprofessional customer service especially from the store manager. Also, when I approached the cashier ( which was the son of the store manager India) he was sitting in a chair. Now if that wasn't enough, I noticed there were signs stating that ice is not free and a cup of is expected to be paid for. Anyone who resides in SC knows that the temperature is brutal in the summer. Where is the customer courtesy and customer service? I will not spend my $ at that location again. Fortunately there is a good selection of service stations that appreciate their customers. M6 suggestion is to provide a refresher training in Customer service or replace the store manager with someone that knows that the customers r the force of success.

They have several pumps, ample space for parking, and a nice car wash. They keep the property clean inside and out. There are hand sanitizer dispensers at every pump and I've seen employees emptying the trash on occasion. Inside, you can grab snacks or a beverage from the aisles, as well as chapstick, hand sanitizer, or other little toiletries. They have a snack bar and kitchen where they make hot plates of food. They are always busy, but not in an annoying way. They move the lines fast. I've only utilized the restrooms twice and they've always been clean. It's tricky getting out at times, but knowing the flow of traffic helps. There are three noticable entry/exit areas, but there are actually really four. There are two on either ends of the pumps. The one closest to the carwash is hard to exit unless someone kindly let's you in since it's a few feet away from a traffic light. The other end is the best way to exit if you're heading toward the interstate. The rear entry/exit off of Palmetto Commerce is great if you are heading away from the interstate and down Palmetto Commerce. Sometimes, you can skirt across to get back heading towards the interstate. Right next to that is a road that actually leads to a neighborhood Walmart and a traffic light, which is very helpful if you're heading down Ladson Road towards Dorchester Rd. Hope this little tidbit helps.

While my boyfriend was washing his car, I went into the store to use the bathroom. The restroom was impressive. It was clean. It also had huge privacy walls in between stalls. I think you have to give them your banking information to become a member of their club, then use a special card which debits your bank account when you fill up. If you trust Blue Water with your banking information then you can save some serious money on gas here. The store itself has about everything you would expect of a convenience store. I know maybe I should've stayed with my car I just ran into grab a soda. And since I have NEVER had a pumps safety feature of stopping when it's full not work I assumed getting a soda was no cause for alarm. Lesson learned. Why I'm upset is the "manager" here was completely rude to me. First she avoided me for about 5 minutes walking around the store doing small tasks when i kept waiting for her. She didn't even go out to put a bag over the pump while I was there to stop others from using it! Huge safety hazard considering there is about 7 gallons of gas sitting on the ground! When I finally asked her (i'm very calm at this point mind you) what they could do about this since it malfunctioned and I was still charged she said "oh there's no way you're getting your money back" and then whispered to the girl behind her that the pump was working fine before. After that I'll admit I was not the most pleasant. She was unbelievable and left me walking to my car in tears. A nice stranger helped push my car out of all the gas so nothing would catch on fire! My grandmother used to braise gizzards until they were tender and then would cook them and the broth in rice. I need to figure out how to make them the same way. Anyway, I stopped by and bought an order of gizzards for my mom. They were tough but tasty. Next time we will try their fried chicken. The crust on the gizzards was really good.
