Why I'm upset is the "manager" here was completely rude to me. First she avoided me for about 5 minutes walking around the store doing small tasks when i kept waiting for her. She didn't even go out to put a bag over the pump while I was there to stop others from using it! Huge safety hazard considering there is about 7 gallons of gas sitting on the ground! When I finally asked her (i'm very calm at this point mind you) what they could do about this since it malfunctioned and I was still charged she said "oh there's no way you're getting your money back" and then whispered to the girl behind her that the pump was working fine before. After that I'll admit I was not the most pleasant. She was unbelievable and left me walking to my car in tears. A nice stranger helped push my car out of all the gas so nothing would catch on fire! Thank you to that stranger, you were so kind! How on earth does Shell employ someone so rude? As a MANAGER none the less. I think you have to give them your banking information to become a member of their club, then use a special card which debits your bank account when you fill up. If you trust Blue Water with your banking information then you can save some serious money on gas here. The store itself has about everything you would expect of a convenience store. Watching the attendant operate the knuckle buster sliding imprint machine in the cold weather was always a treat, twas impressive. Once inside I was taken by the number of employees scurrying around, performing their tasks -- it looked like Star Trek Enterprise as three separate colored shirts identified rank. (Well, not really.. it was training day and shirt colors are the employee's choice) Spinny, spinny, spinny -- those pizzas and hot dogs spun like a spinning top, in the horizontal method. Can't say I partook, but I watched them for a while wishing for a bit of an appetite and carousel music, but none ever came to me. Icey chilly brewskies -- and bar none -- the cleanest bathrooms anywhere I have been and will gladly attest to. Fully equipt with the Accelerator machine that can blow paint off a wall. This machine is somewhat curious to me and slightly troubling at the same time. I'll spare y'all the reasons why -- but I've got reasons -- disturbed and irrational? Last week there was a line the was near the cooler and she came to the door behind where the microwave was and turned around when she saw the line. She finally came out when she saw white man at the end of the line and took him before the next customer in line. She then took about 3 other customers and left the young lady with still about 7 customers. Today, I was the only customer in the store, she got my lottery tickets with an attitude and started ringing them. A young white girl came in and she stop helping me to ring her up and when i said something, she said the company doesn't make money from lottery but made $2.49 from a coke sale. I addressed her in this matter and she clearly stated that my lottery money meant nothing to Refuel. As I am telling her that she is wrong and prejudice, she told me I can take my money elsewhere. This woman is never nice. Her behavior is never pleasant. The employees complain about her and says the complaints are never dealt with. There are several great people that were there left because of her. I need help to understand how and why is she still there. I know that I am not the only person that complains because there are several customers that I have seen at Parkers that says she is the reason why they don't come there anymore. In having a conversation with a white patron, he noted the phone number to call was on the door. He also stated that he says he has complained because of her behavior. I use to love going to this gas station. I stopped at one point because of this and went back because of the people there that are really nice and have great attitudes and great customer service. Today, she took me there where I told her she was mean, prejudice and just a Bitch and for no reason. This gas station is going to loose way more customers if she is not replaced. India replied that the ladies room is closed. The woman politely asked why there is no sign. India told the woman to leave the store! Pitiful and unprofessional customer service especially from the store manager. Also, when I approached the cashier ( which was the son of the store manager India) he was sitting in a chair. Now if that wasn't enough, I noticed there were signs stating that ice is not free and a cup of is expected to be paid for. Anyone who resides in SC knows that the temperature is brutal in the summer. Where is the customer courtesy and customer service? I will not spend my $ at that location again. Fortunately there is a good selection of service stations that appreciate their customers.
