With Fry's card good prices. OK car wash, nothing special. They will fill propane tanks or you can exchange empty for full.

Pollitos Authentic Grilled Chicken - Half chicken bundle with flour tortilla and mild salsa

OK after trying the food, I needed to update this. The chicken tacos are probably the best deal…read more$2.99 for one. The chicken is chopped up. It's moist. It's got some slaw and cabbage on it. I did end up putting the beans and some hot sauce on there to add more flavor. I was anticipating this to be similar to chicken that I'm used to in Northern Virginia, Maryland, DC area.. I was hoping it was more like Peruvian but instead, this is more like Mesquite grilled so for me it's lacked flavor and seasoning. It only comes with medium and hot sauce and they are very small cups size portions. The only sides are beans and rice. Granted they did taste very good. Again used to having additional side options as in salad yucca etc. As for returning, if I do, it'll just be for the tacos and maybe an order of the rice and beans for my daughter...

The two young woman working the front were very friendly and helpful. I ordered a half chicken bundle with rice and beans, with flour tortillas, mild sauce, and a large Pepsi Zero. I ordered at the front counter and had my meal delivered to my table. I ate in the larger dining room (the one on the left as one enters the building). My chicken itself was dry, but tender, with a distinct Mesquite flavor. The rice was ok and the beans were delicious. The three thin flour tortillas were also melt-in-your-mouth buttery soft. I had leftovers. Chicken is the only meat protein. You can buy a full chicken bundle for $31.99, or a half bundle for $17.99. Sides are either rice or beans (no greens). Pepsi products are sold. A small cup is $2.49 and a large cup is $2.75. There is also Lipton ice tea. Fountain drinks are refillable. Bottled water and other canned drinks are also sold. The ambiance is akin to a fast food Mexican eatery. Walls are yellow and red. All the light fixtures desperately need cleaning. It was a bit chilly inside. I used my credit card so there was an additional 3% surcharge. Total for my meal was $22.93 for a half bundle and large drink. The place got busier as I left. In summary: Service -5 Food -4 Ambiance-3. Clean the light fixtures and tighten that loose AC outlet fixture!

Not usually someone who leaves Yelp reviews but this place deserved one. Ordered takeout and…read moreeverything was still hot by the time I got back home. The carne asada fries were loaded and not skimpy on the meat. Tacos had a good balance without being greasy. You can tell this is the kind of place people in town already know about. Nothing flashy, just solid food done right. Prices were reasonable too considering how expensive eating out has gotten lately.

It is huge... easily big enough for two people. But it is mostly stuffed with smushed rice with a tiny bit of beans and cabbage and meat. The carne asada was very dry and flavorless and had some inedible gristle. I definitely would not order the carne asada burrito again. Having said this, the place was very busy, so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing or caught them on a bad day. The customers appeared to be regulars, mostly groups of soldiers and civilians who looked like they worked together on base and were having lunch break together. Staff were very friendly, fast, and the restaurant has a cool local positive vibe. Not really a cheap place either... $23 for burrito, drink and tip. May try again.

I'm actually kind of sad writing this review because the Pit Stop used to be my favorite restaurant…read morein town. I've eaten there dozens of times since it opened at any time, visitors coming to town, it's the one place I recommend to them. Unfortunately, things have been steadily going downhill for months, and our experience this past week convinced me that we won't be coming back. What do I mean by "going downhill"? I mean showing up and being told there isn't enough staff to cover the tables, so we should come back another day. I mean favorite menu items disappearing. I mean major food items running out early in the evening. The final straw was our visit earlier this week. We first had to wait for a table because, once again, they were understaffed. Before seating us, our waitress had to fold napkins under the legs of the table to stop it from wobbling. Sadly, even the furniture now seems to be falling apart. Then we were told that my wife's favorite dish -- the cauliflower steak -- wasn't available that night. We ordered onion rings for the table, and what arrived was basically a plate of burnt onion ring scraps. The server even told us, "These are the last onion rings." This was at 5:00 in the afternoon. We tried a few, but they tasted awful, so we left the rest untouched and asked for them to be removed from the bill. When the check came, the waitress initially only showed me the total rather than the itemized bill. Once I asked to see the breakdown, I noticed the onion rings were still included. When I reminded her that we had asked for them to be removed, she told me she couldn't do that because we had eaten some of them. So over an $8 order of terrible onion rings, they lost two longtime local customers who, between the four of us, had eaten there more than 30 times. The burgers are still decent, but with the attitude, inconsistency, declining quality, and constant staffing issues, I just can't justify coming back anymore.
