The drink is usually around a $1 with your speedy rewards card or phone number. The biggest issue I've had is having to use a slurpie straw and cut off the end because they're out of regular straws. They completely disappeared. The employees there were very much thugs, and didn't care that I was now stranded. They yelled at me for being reasonably frustrated. I used to work at Speedways in Oakland County (Michigan) where car keys were returned to the cashier's desk, along with credit cards and driver's licenses. I had my car towed to a Subaru dealer in western Toledo. The employees there didn't replace the accumulated coffee grinds in the machines until enough customers, including me, complained. The place itself is absolutely disgusting, with garbage all over the parking lot. I saw a rat outside grazing. This is the worst Speedway in America that I've been to. I've been to Speedways in 17 states, and I am a loyal Speedy Rewards member.

She came across a problem on her end were it looked like she Couldn't figure it out. So, she asks one the other employee's if she could help her real quick. At first she didn't even respond to her, so she asked again. The employee then answered....just a second! Very loudly. I believe her name was Shirley. Joanna surprisingly looked at her, and then looked at me and said....just one second, I'm so sorry. I began to say it's okay...until Shirley interrupted rudely, and said to Joanna what's the problem (very rudely) Joanna began to explain, just then Shirley belts out....all you do is this! this! and this!...(what ever that meant). You could tell Joanna had know idea what she was talking about,. So Instead of her asking Shirley to repeat it....afraid of being embarrassed, she tried to process the info. She then finally figured it out. Shirley had already walked away from her. I felt so sorry for her, couldn't believe my eye's and my ears. I think she might have been a newer employee, or wasn't trained very well at all. The young lady was treated so poorly. And I'm sure that's probably not her only encounter there. I don't know about you, but I call that being bullied, or work abuse. Just uncalled for! This Shirley employee needs to be talked to, or fired. I've seen other situations she's not very nice, but never reported. This time I wasn't gonna not say something.

Today when we stopped, service was deplorable in both McDonalds and the convenience store. The bathrooms for men and women were filthy. It has definitely gone downhill since the last time we were there.

No, I'm not touring AP stations in Toledo, but I've been to this one twice…read more NO PUBLIC RESTROOM. Now that I've learned this I won't be returning. It's my policy that if a gas station/convenience store doesn't offer a restroom, I don't frequent. It's a smaller store with many pumps. The attendant was a nice enough fellow. Interesting to talk to. They do have pretty good gas prices. Third time in two weeks they were the low price. They're listed online as the corner of Douglas and Laskey.
