When traveling we've always tried to stop here because it has a McDonalds, convenience store, clean bathrooms, and gas, with generally good service. Today when we stopped, service was deplorable in both McDonalds and the convenience store. The bathrooms for men and women were filthy. In McDonald's an employee took my order wasn't concerned with what I was ordering I had to keep repeating my order cause they wanted to play like kids. When they brought my food it my sandwich was stacked with lettuce and was thrown together they fixed the sandwich in like 5 seconds I knew my order had been messed up before I looked at it. I asked for my money back and another weird employee skinny with glass gave me 5 dollars back when I paid 12. I got frustrated and was constantly asking this woman to give my money back. She caught an attitude and tried to tell me that I ordered extra lettuce on my burger and that she was gone give me anything back I immediately ask for the supervisor she told me she don't have a supervisor. It was a Wednesday, and I was at the counter paying for my items. A lovely lady By the name of JoAnn was waiting on me. She came across a problem on her end were it looked like she Couldn't figure it out. So, she asks one the other employee's if she could help her real quick. At first she didn't even respond to her, so she asked again. The employee then answered....just a second! Very loudly. I believe her name was Shirley. Joanna surprisingly looked at her, and then looked at me and said....just one second, I'm so sorry. I began to say it's okay...until Shirley interrupted rudely, and said to Joanna what's the problem (very rudely) Joanna began to explain, just then Shirley belts out....all you do is this! this! and this!...(what ever that meant). You could tell Joanna had know idea what she was talking about,. So Instead of her asking Shirley to repeat it....afraid of being embarrassed, she tried to process the info. She then finally figured it out. Shirley had already walked away from her. I felt so sorry for her, couldn't believe my eye's and my ears. I think she might have been a newer employee, or wasn't trained very well at all. The young lady was treated so poorly. And I'm sure that's probably not her only encounter there. I don't know about you, but I call that being bullied, or work abuse. Just uncalled for! This Shirley employee needs to be talked to, or fired.
