She says it has the best prices in town. Customer service can be brisk at times. Student baggers work during the day, but at other times the cashier must do the bagging. This can delay the line.

I had never heard of this company. Gasoline sold for $2.79 with credit card and $2.69 for cash. Today I went inside to look around and I was impressed. Their soda fountain selection is impressive, they serve hot grub food at decent prices. They have many coffee varieties and they even have a machine that makes smoothies and milkshakes for $3.99 An attendant was very helpful and explained the Maverick card and other benefits. He knew everything about his job. The Adventure card is linked to your bank account, so debit card. While I didn't eat anything because I had had a late lunch in Tucson, I will someday try some of their pizzas. There is a small indoor seating area and an even larger outdoor seating area. Restrooms were very clean. The entire business was clean.

Located just outside the Fort Huachuca main gate, it's a very convenient store near the intersection of Fry Boulevard and Highway 90. The store is open 24 hours a day, every day of the week. If you're staying at the Garden Place Suites accross the street it's great since there isn't much else in the area and it's nice to be able to walk over and get what you need at any time of the day or night. The staff is enjoyable to talk with and are very friendly and fun. The store offers a good selection of snacks, beverages, hot, cold, and frozen food items, and a good selection of beer, wine, and liquor. There is also a gas station at this location with better prices than other locations on the larger intersections. It's never too busy and always quick and convenient.

Yeah, I know... you NEEDED Oxy-Clean, or PRELL 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner, or a five-pack of tube socks, or a fifteen-pack of Big League Chew, or a bag of raffia, or a LOL-doll coloring book, or a 98¢ pregnancy test (I hope it's good news!) But most of the time, we truly don't NEED a blessed thing in this store. Still, we'll blow money here like drunks, buying stuff that would make a Goodwill donation guy blush. And that's OK... because Dollar General is about feeling good, even if exiting the establishment is about buying a Power Rangers mask or a big seasonal hat so no one recognizes you walking out and makes you feel bad. As for this DG, it's a good one-- they have all sorts of stuff. Sure, the prices might head north of a dollar, but it's deeply discounted, and most items have the life expectancy of cut tulips anyway. It's one of the few drive-through car washes in the area that I can use because I have a rear luggage rack on my vehicle that bans me from other car washes in the area. The problem is, this car wash is usually OUT OF SERVICE. I've checked every day this week and see it's still closed. This is so frustrating as I have two car wash coupons that will expire soon if I can't use them. Other than a non-working car wash, though, customer service here is great, the place is kept clean, and they are normally well-stocked. The hot breakfast and lunch food items run out early, though.

Instead of simply handing it to me, he carelessly dropped it onto the counter so hard it nearly tipped over, then immediately turned to the next customer with a smile and a friendly attitude. That interaction made it very clear that I wasn't welcome. One unpleasant employee can completely change a customer's experience.
