this shop has a new owner, any other bad reviews about this spot was about the old owner. i was a…read morenewbie to fishing a couple of months ago and i came here to get some bait, rods and gear etc, kirk the new owner was absolutely amazing and extremely helpful. he taught me everything i know till this day. he's a great mentor, a great shop owner and he always takes great care of his bait and things in the store. if your'e looking for a bait shop to go to.. this is 100% the spot. he's even got amazing deals and everything he sells is at a maximum quality. this spot is about 25-30 mins away from me and i still come on fishing days! come here, you wont regret it.

went this morning on 4/27/25. new owner been a couple times and met this new owner and he has done…read moresome good to the shop. much better than when the guy used to sleep in his truck most days till 7. and the place smelled like pot. this morning I got 3 doz shrimp and some foot ball jig heads. the jig heads were 4.99 and after he rang me up for three dozen shrimp I paid trusting it wouldn't be out of the ordinary. I check my account while fishing and I was charged 39.95. also every one of three dozen shrimp were dead. I wish this was a joke. I actually liked the new guy. but I think I'm going to start using anglers tackle in Dania beach. last time I go to this place.

It is a medium sized store with no frills, no pretty displays, just bolts and bolts of fabric. I was especially blown away with the trims and lace. They have all types of apparel fabric. I didn't not see a great selection of home decor fabric however. There is also a good selection of evening and embellished fabric. Prices are reasonable. Apparel fabric starts at $6.99 per yard and goes from there. Overall a great store to find specialty fabrics. I didn't see silk, but I probably missed the section. I will definitely come back when in need of embellishments or trims.
