Temperatures were as high as 86 degrees which made conditions particularly difficult especially when trying to sleep. I change the air filter every 3 months and I clean the outside unit annually as well. After about a week of feeling sauna like conditions I called AIRCO. Nhiayee and Page arrived earlier than expected which was awesome because I was given a late afternoon appointment. I greeted them and explained the situation and helped them locate the electrical outlet and the water supply. From there, Nhiayee assessed the problem and explained that the Freon was low indicated by the dry, refrigeration line. After giving the outside unit a cleaning and flushing and filling the unit with Freon which was necessary due to the advanced age of the system. Page and Nhiayee advised that it would take several hours to get the temperature back to an acceptable level and that we should be comfortable going forward. I thanked them both and they were on their way to satisfy more customers. I had many items to scope and price out upfront, and Tami was so kind and amazing. We had to work through several proposals before deciding on final services, and she always responded quickly with thorough details. Then, Tyson and his helper showed up, and they were the nicest people ever. We walked through all services to be done, and Tyson explained all troubleshooting/results well plus gave me options to decide from (like what color of weather protector I wanted on our outside outlets) versus doing whatever he thought was best like standard vendors. He had to run to Lowe's to grab more parts and did not charge me for them as they were "minor." He also discovered extra issues/subpar electrical items as he worked on the house that he corrected/adjusted to perform better without charging extra. He went well over above and beyond! On the invoice, I noticed an option to tip. I've never seen this for an electrician, plumber, roofer, or any type of home service. HOWEVER, it made total sense, and I tipped them 20%. He saved us hundreds in extra services/parts instead of nickel and diming. He also saved us from more future issues by addressing all of the non-perfect items he saw throughout the house.
