Good selection of produce, with the weekly circular available online. Went on a weekday afternoon, was able to find on-street parking with relative ease. The store can be a bit disorganized but I was able to browse / find most of what I needed. The canned / non-perishable section pretty much matches bodega pricing, but the produce is definitely fresher and cheaper. They have a good selection of packaged breads and alright selection of olives by the pound back near the deli. The crowd can be a mixed bag, not as rude as other places but definitely won't think twice about pushing your cart out of the way. This is one of my favorite stores for conventional fruits and vegetables. To give you an idea of the price range we're talking about, on the 13th of may, which is today, the watermelon was 29 cents/lb. Peppers --- 39 cents/lb, eggs --- 69 c per dozen, lemons 5 for a $1. The quality tends to be worse than "3 guys from Brooklyn" store up the street, but it's nothing --- you can pick and choose. Just watch out for the boxed strawberries. They tend to put the rotten ones inside and really good looking ones on the outside. Another thing I like about this store is that aside from the cheap produce, there are more expensive specialty fruits and vegetables inside. Here I've seen fresh almonds, sour apricots or plums, gooseberries, star fruit, tangelos, fresh mushrooms, fresh rosemary or thyme, huge slabs of aloe vera, the list goes on and on depending on the season. There is also a deli dept, but I've never tried anything from there. Oh, and the lines tend to get very long, so do come early. read more

This place is great. For under $20, I can stock up on FRESH fruits and veggies for like 2 weeks. (I mean like you can eat 5 fruits for every meal for 2 weeks straight. And probably some more. That amount of fruit.) I'm also a fan of the inside portion of the store. (I saw for the first time in person a Sicilian eggplant there today. It was gorgeous. And jinormous. It's the light purple colour of Asian eggplants, but is stocky and wide and fanned out.) There is also a deli counter. (I've only tried the cheeses, not the meats.) So, while one person is queing up for the register, the other can grab some fresh olives, pasta, pita bread, humus, coffee beans, quinoa, cheese and some meat and you're set to go. Yes, this place gets crowded (especially on the weekends), but the girls at the register are pretty quick, and besides, that means they're always stocking up new, fresh stuff. And, it's open 24/7!! Pineapples $0.99 each 5 navel oranges for $1 While some of the fruit are really cheap and generally fresh (cherries and red onions and celery weren't exactly in great condition), I'd say some of the veg (e.g. tomatoes) were just regular priced. You could buy 3 big bags of food for less than $30 they have good offers like 2 boxes of strawberries for $3 and blueberries for $2 and so on. i was in brooklyn and wanted to stop at three guys to pick up some fruits and veggies but the joint was too crowded and parking was even worst so less then 10 minutes away is circus and its not 3 guys but it close enough . parking nearby is not easy so be prepared to walk a few blocks to find parking but its worth it cause selection of fruits and veggies along with prices is more then fair. the place is semi designed like a straight circus tent with plenty of fruits and veggies set up outside as well as inside with every item clearly mark with prices . damn cherries are expensive this season but they are a deep red color which means they are really sweet, apples are sweet and juicy, oranges are giant, grapes look good, bananas looking yellow and ripe, and as for the veggies thats ny nieces dept but as long its not cauliflower i will eat it all in a salad . its not that crowded at the moment but it is very hot outside and covid19 aint helping but folks still need their produce. circus may not be my first pick for my fruits and veggies when in brooklyn but being number 2 aint shabby at all. Open 24 hours and have an excellent and fairly priced selection of fruits and vegetables outside. The downside is that the indoor area doesn't have that much stuff and the vegetables in the outdoor area can be old. Choose carefully, and remember the prices of each item (roughly) in case they dial up the wrong item on the register. With all the offerings of this market, it's not surprising that cashiers have difficulty identifying your purchases. Otherwise, I'd love to have a market like this in Jackson Heights! read more

what bothers me is there cold cut dept and Italian specialties. It is all old shit that the owner refuses to throw out and just keeps recycling. Do not get cold cuts they will make you sick. Cold cuts are not supposed to have a dark ring around them. I wish a health inspector would go in here because I'm sure there cold cut car is below temperature. I have gotten cheeses here that had mold on then. There cheeses and olives and cold cuts needs to be revamped because everyone must know by now they suck, it needs to be rebooted and the servers need to be more sanitary also. This would cost money but until then you Definitely have lost another 3 customers forever. You get two stars because your vegatables and fruits outside are reasonably priced. read more

There's a reason why most produce is cheap here: it is of absolutely deplorable quality. Cherries at $1.59/lb? Too good to be true? Correct, they were all rotten. Organic bananas at $.39/lb? More like fermented bananas, because they tasted like acetone... Which is still better than the "organic" apricots at $1.99/lb which tasted like...absolutely nothing. You are really not saving money if you end up throwing half of your purchases in the garbage. There are so many other reasonably priced stores in Brooklyn, where the produce is actually edible. The prices are great, and they have a decent selection of supermarket items inside. They are open 24/7, so try to go at late hours to avoid the crowds if you can. read more
