The ladies inside did all the work personally, while in there one time they were doing adjustments on a young lady's wedding dress. It seems they're able to handle just about any kind of sewing or alterations needs that may come up for you. I know it's hard to find the right place that does the right job, but I think that if you try them once you will use them again and again. Probably the worst retail experience I ever had. I am going to need a wig, due to chemo, so I went…read morein yesterday, found a wig that I thought would be okay, and told the lady that I would be back the next day with a check. My husband and I have two residences, and I didn't yet have the debit card associated with the out-of-town account, so I figured I would use a check, and she didn't dispute it. So, she said I could do a lay-away, so I gave her a $20 deposit and said I would return to get the wig the next day. I went in today, wrote the balance on the check, handed it to her and asked if she wanted to see my ID. She said yes, then proceeded to examine it, and noticed the two different addresses. I, again explained the two residences, and the reason for the check. She then said that the picture on my license was not me. I said that my hair was shorter when it was taken, but it WAS me. She pulled out my receipt for the $20 deposit and told me to sign the back of it so she could compare it to the signature on my license, and asked if the check was really good. Then she said she only takes cash or credit cards. I asked her why she didn't tell me yesterday when I clearly said I was coming back with a check. She didn't answer. Before I gave her the check, I decided I should buy some products to take care of the wig, but I already had the check mostly made out, so I paid cash (almost another $20) for the products. As I was leaving, she didn't even thank me for my $210 total purchase. After running a couple of errands afterward, I had thought about the whole scenario until I couldn't believe I had allowed myself to be treated that way. I returned and told her that I didn't like the way I was treated, and she could return my check and money, and she could take her merchandise back. She said that there were no refunds, but since she failed to give me a receipt for today's transaction, I told her that since the check was "bad", that I wanted it back. I lost my cash to the tune of nearly $40, so she still made out, but it's easy to see that the place is not busy, and the wigs on display are not prototypes, so if you decide on one, you get to take the one that you, and who knows how many others have had on. I have some time left before actually needing a wig, so I'll keep looking. Also, when I purchased the wig, ot wasn't placed in a box, or wrapped. It was thrown into the retail bag with the other products. I strongly suggest, if you are in the market for a wig, this shouldn't be your first choice. It was just a lesson to me on what is NOT acceptable. I've worked in retail for many years, and this kind of customer service would have gotten me fired. I was made to feel as if I had done something wrong...until I came to my senses, that is. Businesses are supposed to clearly post what types of payment they accept, and nothing was posted.

I asked the woman to help me out looking for a long dark brown or black wig... and she seemed extremely annoyed with the fact I wanted her to help me out or suggest something. She also seemed annoyed that I wanted to try on the wigs before I bought them, which I only tried on 3. Every time I did all she said was "cute" to every single one, even the ones that obviously were nowhere near "cute" on me. The cherry on top was when I realized after coming home and doing some research that I was charged 2x the price of any normal wig you would buy at the store and was told it was "better hair". It was not better hair. It also was not a lace front and therefore looks really unnatural. For over a hundred dollars (the price I paid) I could have bought two beautiful lace front wigs offline or at any other wig store. Due to the fact this was my first wig shopping experience I was deceived and bought this wig instead. I don't feel like this establishment deserves any business. I was the only one in there during prime hours and I completely understand why. Go somewhere else if you don't want to get yelled at for asking someone for help and ripped off by paying astronomical prices for a wig that isn't worth more than $40-50. She also never packed up my wig or offered to give me any kind of bag she simply let me walk out with the wig placed on my head out of the store.
