She said she wasn't sure, but started to walk out from behind the counter to show me where it had been. She said they did have the child's version, even though I was looking for the adult's, and she showed me where that was located. I'm grateful for her help. The rest of the store looked nice and they had a bunch of cool costumes I hadn't seen yet. They were running low on specific ones though, with no plans to restock.

She claimed I took some accessories and that she witnessed me doing it and threatened she'd call the police. I purchased my son's costume from the store last year and didn't have a problem; except her employees were a little rude and constantly hovering. Her prices are waaaaay too high as well. We have rented here six times. When I called to confirm hours of the day I was to pick up mascot…read morecostume they had no record of my reservation. Could not find mascot. He looked around, and asked me to call back so he could call his manager, finally found costume and then asked me if I want to reserve it. I had reserved it at least six weeks prior. Then he asked me if I had paid for it yes. He told me to bring in receipt. It was filthy!! Chunks of ??? hair, leaves. I took photos there before I left the shop. I told him this was unacceptable. He agreed and apologized. Said manager would be there when I brought it back and I could talk to her then. I took it home vacuumed the chunks, used a Lint roller to pick up bits the vacuum could not pick up. Sewed part of the hat back on to the head where threads had broken causing the hat to tilt at an odd angle partly covering the eyes. I brought it back with photographs to show manager how nasty it was. She was not there. On duty clerk lied to me about who the manager was. (Gee, I wonder why she does not want her name given out.) He called her and he said she said there was nothing to do about it because we had accepted it in that condition. I was scheduled for an event the next morning with a number of children for photos. What could I have done? A promise is a promise. I guess the owners/manager don't consider a mascot costume rental agreement a promise. Do NOT trust this place/these people.
