Ugh I really hate to leave this review, because I know how hard these people probably work but in all honesty it was boring, had nothing to do with the "water" theme as advertised. A small bottle of soda was $5 (cheapest thing on the menu) Cotton Candy was $10 everything else was $15 or $20. I'm sorry but 10-15 dollars for a hotdog is absurd!! Seating was cramped and tight. Seating was more suitable for children than adults. This is probably the 4th circus I've been to and by far my least favorite. It seemed extremely low budget. My kids were yawning by the time the first half was completed. They had some girls dress up as characters from the popular Netflix movie Kpop Demon Hunters which the little girls loved. Don't waste your time or money attending this 'water circus' unless you are doing it for small children (10-11 yr olds or less). They would think it was cool. However, there is no point in promoting this as a water circus as it has nothing to do with water. Some of the acts were very good but overall, truly a waste of 2 hours of your life. Food, drinks and novelties were of course were extravagently overpriced. (eg: a bottle of Costco water cost $4 - sells for $3.99 for 40 bottles at Costco). If you do decide to attend this 'extravaganza' be sure to good for a promo code as you will almost certainly find codes for at least 15 or 20% off the ticket price. I only hope that the state collects the sales tax since all concessions/food/drinks are cash only, but I'm sure they cheat on that also. Spent a lot of money to bake inside a "climate controlled" tent in a midsummer Ohio afternoon. I'd say about half, at best, of the acts were commendable. True talented artists (i.e. aerialists, trapeze, balancing). The rest was just a shell game, distractions of filler content that was pretty lame. What you lack in talent can easily be made up with better lights, sound and tech. The "water circus" is merely some lawn sprinklers, which honestly, probably would have felt good if they misted the crowd some. You could expect any performance in any venue to feature overpriced snacks and gimmicks but there's nothing subtle about the gratuitous pandering... $10 for a blurry souvenir photo of you sweating your butt off in the stands... $20 for souvenir photos with characters in costumes. Everything inside the tent is "CASH ONLY" but they gladly offer an "ATM" service with a 10% service fee. Unlike a regular ATM where your bank might reimburse your transaction fees, this is a straight up point of sale transaction. read more

I was not gonna write the review but I was pretty upset about it had to do it. This is in Florence, KY. One lady came to our restaurant and gave us a free pass of 4 and she left a bunch of advertisements tickets for our customers which we didn't mind. After long day of working we went there with the kids and our seat were already taken and they only had availability seats for $60 per person and including the kids. Since it was after work we got there half way of the show. Since the kids were so excited we asked the staff if we can have half price since we came in half way of the show and he said he will asked the office. We followed him to the office and he came out saying the seats were taken and there was no more seats. We were really upset and felt discriminated against us. The staff were so rude!!!! He told us ohh we will be in Indiana or whatever i told him this location is 2 minutes away from us and we can only get here half way of the show because of work and you expected us to drive Indiana?? This is an end for us. The treatment we received was unbearable and i still remember the disappointment of eyes on our kids. Cirque Italia is probably the WORST company I've ever dealt with. My husband and I bought tickets a few weeks ago and then the government shut down. I'm impacted by the shut down and am not getting a paycheck so I figured I could ask for a refund so I could put that money toward bills so we can, you know, survive, right? I talked to the Corporate Office twice. The first person literally had zero empathy whatsoever and said, and I quote, "you should have planned better." Completely unprofessional and quite alarming. Goin back and reading the fine print again on the ticket purchase, they don't even do refunds for shows that are cancelled or postponed due to the venue or inclement weather. So basically, they're just robbing people of their money. I figured the government shutting down would be a good enough reason to request a refund. You could hear in their voices that they just didn't care at all. I also emailed corporate and they said that it's not unreasonable for companies to have no refund policies unless someone died basically. I totally understand having a no refund policy, but to be THAT hard up about giving someone with a legitimate reason a refund because "upper management instructed them to say that." Fun fact: I never got updated on the manager speaking to their "boss/Accountant." I was so excited to have this experience with my husband and I'm discouraged because of my dealings with multiple employees. I can confidently say that I will NEVER buy tickets to see their shows. You can buy a 2 liter bottle of Coke at the grocery store for about $1.50 and 24 bottles of the same water they sell for $2.99 at the grocery store. I went tonight and was surprised how lack luster the small tent was and ripped seats were wabbling. The first four acts truly showed talent. I chose to leave after the water performance of a young woman in red on a ring doing splits in different directions with her vagina on display for 15 minutes straight. Men In the crowd were shouting cat calls- yeah baby...it was definitely not appropriate for families. I left& I've never left a show acrobats or cruise performance, from being offended because of too much crotch exposure. (For reference I'm in a wheelchair). Their wheelchair ramp was so poorly placed I needed people to help me in and outside each time, and cracked my phone trying to enter on my own. The show on its own was amazing until the only disabled character was a grouchy old man with a cane. When I spoke to the owner as calmly as possible about how that was inappropriate, he rudely explained that the cane was the only way to show he was old. Regarding the difficult entrance, he impatiently expressed that it wasn't his fault I couldn't maneuver myself because they had a perfectly accessible ramp. The show wasn't bad. There were some cool stunts. The ringmaster was not entertaining at all. This was advertised as a water circus and as being filled with acrobatics. I don't considered what they had as a water prop being a "water circus" and there were a few good acrobats in the show but I felt like there was too much filler. My low review is because I think the price of the tickets were way too high for what it was. You can get tickets to see Cirque Du Soleil for the same price which is wild to me. Again, the show wasn't bad, but it's definitely amateur compared other acts you can see for the same cost. If you have seen a true Cirque show, Cirque Italia will be a let down I'm afraid. We saw Cirque Italia Water Circus Gold in Mississauga. Fair performers at best and very poor production. Too much nonsense filler to this show (appeals to very young children only). If you are under 10 years of age you'll enjoy it - a little painful and even boring at times for an adult. Worn out uncomfortable dirty seating. $10 for a medium popcorn and $5 for bottled water. (Probably wouldn't have minded as much had the show been worth it.). We paid for good seats at $80.50 per person. This show was not worth our ticket price. honourable mention - one single redeeming act at the very end of the show - two excellent male acrobats. We went as four adults and were disappointed. Noticed some people left prior to the show ending. I might have considered doing the same had we all not gone in the same car. Had we done our homework before buying our tickets we would have discovered that Cirque Italia is not at all associated/affiliated the 'Cirque' shows that we know to be excellent. Let me start off by saying we live in Phoenix and we went the last day of June and just wasn't expecting there to be no form of ac what . So . Ever ., but some over sized fans. We chose the 4:30 show which is the hottest the day and it had to have been pushing 100 degrees in that tent, no exaggeration. It was 95 degrees outside. I was DYYYING and extremely uncomfortable!! I didn't want to waste $200 and my nephews (teenagers , not children) wanted to tough it out. That being said , the show was adorable!! The performers did a great job. Especially, considering they had to be REALLY HOT ! STAND OUT SHOUT OUTS to the clown, he was amazing , the acrobatic pirates , and the juggler!! I would pay to watch them all day !! Soooo. If you live in a cooler climate , we'll worth the money, if you live in a hotter climate , make sure you see the later showing. Bravo to all the performers. read more

Platinum VIP $50.00, two tickets, front row seats, for a Jan 3, 2021 show held in Irving, Texas. Cirque clearly promoted: "Cirque Italia prides itself on ensuring the safety of our guests. We are continually monitoring each city and state's restrictions of every location on our tour schedule in order to fully comply with each individual municipality. Each of our shows have taken extra precautions, increasing the number of sanitation stations around the shows, disinfecting the entire tent from top to bottom before and after every show, as well as canceling the meet-and-greets with performers. We are taking all the necessary steps to ensure everyone's safety and peace of mind. Any performers or crew members with elevated temperatures and/or exhibiting any flu-like symptoms will be self-quarantined in their homes for a two week period. With that said, we are asking anyone with a fever and/or exhibiting flu-like symptoms to please stay home as well." The added bonus at the end of ticket sales is NO REFUNDS. POSTPONED DUE TO COVID SHUTDOWN, lol. On the day of the show, 6 hours before the show, I received this email: "Due to Covid restrictions the Paranormal Cirque shows scheduled for this weekend and next weekend in Irving, TX have been postponed until further notice. We are diligently working to reschedule and will contact you via email and/or SMS as soon as we have any information regarding rescheduled dates. " We were perplexed to get this email!!! There were no new COVID restrictions in our area to warrant this cancelation. Hotels, Restaurants, bars, and retail are all open in our area. I believe that Cirque is purposely selling out shows nationwide, selling you tickets, clearly stating there is a no refund policy, with no intention of having a show!!! Maybe they had legitimate shows prior to COVID but this is their new normal. Be careful! They purposely make it impossible to contact them via phone or email. I bought our tickets through Travelzoo and tried to get a refund through them. They cannot help me with a refund but they were able to get my complaint escalated, and hopefully take down their ads. Don't believe me?!? Research and read the complaints online. Start with BBB. I started researching online and found that there are numerous complaints against them going back to January 2020 not limited to the Florida area. They have no intent on fulfilling shows or "rescheduling" or "refunding" anyone's money. I joined the bandwagon and filed a complaint with the BBB. Worst sitting arrangement I have ever experienced . Seats less than 12 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches apart. Tent was stuffy, humid, and hot at 9:30pm at night in Palmetto FL. The performances were great ; but I had to leave at the intermission due to being completely uncomfortable and drenched in mine , and others around me's sweat and due to loss of feeling in my legs from the chairs. Bench seating would of been better than the plastic they called seating. Next time I'll just save and spend my money at cirque de sole. Btw watch out for security flashing flashlights at you for simply checking your phone , or in my case using a iPhone attach fan. The crew is the worst part of the organization. read more

We had a great time at the show! We took three children ages 4,6 and 9 and it kept their attention. Venue: Clean, nice seating, we were seated by ushers to the seats we booked online. We chose G1 - G5, we were about 7 rows from the front. Pretty much every seat was good since there are only about 30 rows going up in the venue. The side seats may be a little harder to see the show as well. They had a decent bathroom, they were not the regular porter potty but the mobile bathrooms with sinks and 4 stalls. Snacks: The snacks were pretty good, typical circus food. Just about all snacks were $5. The popcorn, funnel cakes, frozen icee drinks, snow cones, nachos and cotton candy were all $5 each. I think they also had hotdogs as well. They had two booths to purchase food as well as staff walking around selling snacks. They also sold light up toys that ranged from $10-$15 and offered face painting as well. Parking: the parking was free in White Plains/Waldorf, MD. The show was in the parking lot of a baseball stadium. No lines to get in. We arrived about 15-20 minutes prior to start of the show. The Show: The show was about 2 hours with a 15-20 minute intermission. Enough time to use the bathroom and grab a snack. The acts were really good classic cirque circus acts. They had acrobats, skaters, tight rope walking, two modern clowns, a fake dinosaur that walked around but the kids loved it. At the end of the show the cast came out and let the kids take pictures with them. The only thing that is a little misleading is the water. They have a water feature, not a water act. We attended the 7:30pm show in July and we were happy we went late. It was very comfortable as far as the temperature, I could have used a few degrees cooler but I think a early show in the summer would be really hot inside. Overall it was a great experience, we had a good time. The staff and cast were all very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend. I also found a coupon online for kids to go free with code "free" when purchasing tickets online. Also I would opt out of spending extra money for the close seats up front as they are not worth the extra money. You would definitely regret it in my opinion. read more

Was worth the price! Great professional exhibitions! Fortunately, we didn't see any mistakes from the performers like these other reviewers. We also watched during a cool evening. My wife, kids, and I loved it! They put in some humor in-between and get the audience involved by pulling some volunteers into their comedy skits. It seems overpriced to some, but $25 per individual is not bad. Technically, they have a free kid promo, so 1 free kid per $50 adult. If you have 2 adults and 2 kids like I did, that's $25 per person. Make sure to bring cash for their extra merchandise and snacks. read more

I will give 3 stars based on talent at the show. I also did not pay for my tickets. I got free vouchers for mine in the West Palm Beach Show and decided why not give it a go! I won't lose anything by it. I didn't want to set my expectations too high but also didn't want to have a low expectation about them considering some of the previous reviews I read. The talent is amazing! Fair-type food was decent. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, one of the most important things at a hotel or place of entertainment or where people are gathered is security. It is a target to anyone who would really want to do harm. Groups of large people etc. When we walked in to give our ticket, the gentleman just pointed us in the direction of the side we would be on. There was no bag check whatsoever. Anyone could bring ANYTHING in. When intermission ended, someone walked in who was not in the audience prior to the intermission. The audience levels are close enough and small enough in quantity to scan the room and just know he was not there prior. He was by himself and on his own. No family or children, carrying an extremely large black backpack. He also walked around with no mask. He seemed to linger passed our section to the corner and have a seat in the front row just like if he had just selected that would be a good seat. The gentleman assisting people to their seats (I'll call them carnies) in that section saw him, only to ask him to please put his mask on. I began to freak out inside. I saw him and the carnie that saw him did not even ask him for his ticket or inquire about where his seat was. This is what I mean, as part of this carnies job, it shouldn't have just been to find the seats and sanitize, it should be to look out for suspicious and strange acting people. And I understand if that's not his pay grade, the company should then make an effort to implement this. If he was doing his job correctly, he would have seen the man zoom from seat to seat and should have inquired ab his ticket. When the suspicious gentleman moved to the front row of our seat in between acts, multiple people from the other end where he had just been at started talking to the carnie and pointing at the suspicious gentleman. At this point a few families in our section saw this all take place and began to leave. When I spoke to them briefly outside, they mentioned the same thing. They saw the man walk in during intermission and something didn't sit right with them. This might have been towards the ending part of the show, but I was so ready to leave, especially if no one was going to do anything. When I told my boyfriend "we have to go now", he didn't ask any questions, simply we got up and walked out of the tent. Not a carnie or team member to be found anywhere at the front. An open door completely. I wish I would've taken a photo so you could understand. There was NO ONE at the front or anywhere in the food area, so that if anyone should walk in they could at least ask them to see their ticket. We left and agreed that the talent was so great and worth the ticket price if someone would purchase but we did NOT feel SAFE and that is what ruined the show for us. I wouldn't feel safe knowing I spent $50 on a ticket and it's risking anyone to come in mid-show. This wouldn't happen anywhere else. read more
