Held at a local restaurant with attendees from far away she portrayed a prominent historical character from Kentucky's early pioneers in the development of bourbon. Her portrayal was most creative, hilarious and actually historically correct to the delight of our friends at the dinner celebration. I highly recommend Denise for her creative, clever & engaging characters she brings to life! I would give her more than 5 stars if I could but 5 is the limit. :)

We attended the production for "As You Like It" on the Thursday night in May 2026 before the Friday…read morenight premiere. This show was terrific with regard to costumes, sets, acting, singing, and audio production. Seating was comfortable on the permanently installed benches, but even better with a cushion. Looking forward to many return visits this summer, etc. Online schedule shows pre-performance opening acts as well as the food trucks set up for each evening.

Although I initially missed all 3 of the plays this summer they replay all 3 on alternating nights…read morethe last couple of weeks of the season. I was able to view 2 of the 3-Anthony and Cleopatra & Two Gentlemen of Verona. Both plays were well done and the actors were excellent. It's free and in Central Park in Old Louisville. Do make a donation if you can. This is their 66th season and we are so fortunate to have the opportunity to see them in our city especially for free.

And that's never a bad thing. They have live music, food, games... Kids love it. And it's at Iroquois Park. Hang out in the park and then hit up the festival. That's what my friend and I did. 'Twas dope. And get out to support the local refugee community. Many of these people have had difficult lives, and locals have a tendency to marginalize these people rather than make them feel welcome. They need to know that they are welcome. So make the effort!

I like that it's in Iroquois park the heart of the community pretty much, besides valumarket. I live in right in this community but I did not know this fair was held annually. There were plenty of booths lined next to the amphitheater on both sides and food trucks as well. In the amphitheater they had performances from local bands and awards given out to americana community members that have contributed to its success. This is a small festival yet very interesting. There were activities, things to check out (perhaps buy) and people to see... And learn a few things about the community. I'll be checking it out next year for sure.

My brother invited me to his most recent brass band concert and I am glad I made it out. The sound is great here and the seats are comfortable. It's really a pretty Hall to be inside of while listening to the musical creations. Parking is great during out of school times/weekends.
