This still is my favorite thrift store in New Braunfels. Prices are reasonable and I've found good quality clothing , kitchen stuff, and a members mark child sleeping bag that my pup adores. They have a card that they stamp so many times depending on the amount of your purchase. If you guess the trivia question that's listed at the register you get an extra stamp. The last 2 visits here have been very disappointing and I most likely will not be returning. The staff yesterday was unmotivated and acted like it was a bother to check people out. Super cute shop! My friend and I got 10 items for $15 dollars! We went on a Thursday when they had their sale. The only complaint was that I couldn't browse the items out front because it was way too hot. I will be going again! CIS is always having great sales!! Just recently they had a 90% off storewide sale and we were able to get so many items!!!

Do you like smelly sheets? Do you like clothes with pet hairs all over it? What about a staff that looks like they really just don't want to be there? Seems like the only person that was really sweet and informative was the Hispanic cashier girl. The rest of team looked bothered that some of my items didn't have prices on it. They even asked her "is that it?!" Rude management/team and way over priced for "donated" items. I am all about supporting but this is just plain abuse as some of the customers that I know go in there are low income and even homeless. read more
