When we had an online meeting, confirmed the dates and even corrected the owner on the CORRECT DATE being March 11th NOT MAY, to which he told us he would fix but now we know he didn't. And we did sign a contract and even paid for the services early. How would we pay for our services and have date saved if we didn't have contract or confirmed booking? Make it make sense. Mind you, we booked/had a meeting in AUGUST of 2023. And yes, a replacement photographer was offered AFTER the wedding had started and our venue was in Benicia. It would've taken them some time to get to our venue with their business being in SACRAMENTO and even IF they would have been able to arrive within 15-30 minutes, they would've missed the getting ready pictures for our bridal party and ceremony. I can't believe this business is trying to pull this stunt about 2 years after the fact to try and save face? This is absolutely disgusting behavior. Again, I would not recommend this business. I'm updating this review since they have changed their response on Google Reviews and I'm setting the record straight.

Personally, I like my video or photos back to me no longer than 1-3 months in order to relive the best day of my life with excitement, however, Rocwel Studio did not complete my video until 10 months after my wedding (My wedding was in September 2017, and I received the finished products in USB's in July 2018). The teaser video came out the next day of my wedding and it was very good, but after that everything went down hill. The short video product was done in about 6-7 months after the wedding, and to add to it, I was not happy with the product. Therefore i had Dave edit the video a couple times. When I told Dave what i didn't like about the video, he seemed to not take it well in the beginning, however, after a few encounters, his attitude changed. After viewing the video a few times, he edited it. Instead of feeling excited about watching my video, i was not interested in it anymore. After he stated he was done with the video, it took him another month or two with a few reminders to send me the USB. Before hiring him, I really enjoyed his videos that he made for my friends in the previous years, but unfortunately I did not enjoy it much for mines. First off, any photographer that is able to make me look photogenic is insanely talented, and he was able to do that and more. He made my (now) wife and I look like supermodels on the red carpet and captured our personality, energy, and love in all the photos he took. We were looking for a photographer who shot and edited with attitude, that means it's no cookie cutter filters, not your everyday shots, and created images that were one of a kind. In the SF bay area, there are very few that can do that. However, we thought Seb's portfolio was 100% the best. Furthermore, Seb for sure is the one who cares the most about the couples. He was super easy to talk to. He got to know us very quickly and made us (who are super camera-shy) feel extremely comfortable and we were pros at the end of it. We got an engagement package in addition to the wedding package. If you have the means for it, I would recommend it, but it's not necessary. The engagement package got us beautiful photos and built our relationship with Seb. On the day of the wedding, it was the easiest thing. He took a back seat taking beautiful candid shots and took charge when he needed to, like corralling family members, making sure we stuck to the timeline so we could get sunset pictures, commanding the crowd for shots, being super kind and gentle with all the other family members, the list goes on. He was the perfect photographer. Seb is also just an amazing guy. There were tons of problems going into our engagement shoot and the wedding, but he handled them beautifully. He was always kind and made us feel like we were kings and queens. I would hire him over and over again in a heartbeat. We both wanted a candid, documentary style photographs of our wedding day and Seb delivers on it.
