I never thought I would be doing a boudoir photo shoot but there I was responding to an ad in Instagram and booking for a session... I had a 15-min consultation appt to give me a rundown of what to expect and was given a date to schedule for the photo session. When I chose the appt date I didn't realize that I chose the following day after the consultation call and there I was yesterday in Downtown Vacaville ready to capture this empowering experience. I made it to the studio, waited for my appointment time, I had a few minutes to spare... and the rest is part of my self-love history. My boudoir photography session (I felt) was all about celebrating me-- beauty, confidence, and individuality. The experience was a first for me and the ladies made me feel comfortable, they made it fun, and they were so supportive overlooking all my imperfections where I was able to truly shine. I didn't have to think at all during the photo shoot... they guide you through the entire session. The session lasted about three hours. Thank you to Kristen who did my makeup and hair. Tameka was the awesome photographer and I believe it was Riley who was the lead over production who will be cleaning up the photos (editing process)? I apologize if I got it wrong. Anyway, I'm glad I did this. The final digital photos will be delivered in two weeks.
