FRAUD ALERT! Their billing department is fraudulent and NON-responsive. They double billed me for my urgent care visit and are refusing to communicate with me or my credit card company about the overcharge. This is very unfortunate, because I really enjoyed my visit otherwise. I will never go back to any of Citra Urgent Care's locations now due to their FRAUDULENT billing department. I visited a facility on 12/27 and did not receive a bill until February. My insurance was never billed by the facility. None of the numbers on the bill lead to speaking with anyone. It leads to dead lines. I called the facility and they are not able to do anything. My insurance needs information in order to pay the bill, which I did not even receive in a timely manner as required by Texas State Law. Someone at Citra needs to fix this as it is horrible customer service and illegal. The level of care received here was horrendous. I walked out worse than I came in. read more

Came in because of ear pain. Scheduling was easy and the best part of the experience. I arrived and paid my $75 co-pay. I was then called into an exam room. The provider was in and out in 90 seconds (or less). She asked two questions, very quickly looked in my ear, said "no problem" and was about to leave. I asked her about my congestion and pain. She said to ibuprofen if need and shot out of there like a rocket. Not only was a waste of time and money, I still have congestion and ear pain 4 days later. Tomorrow I will find a real health care provider. read more

I'm here now waiting on a Covid test that I scheduled an appointment for. The front desk girl has been joking and laughing and chatting and swearing the entire time I've been here. She also just said allowed that she sent results to the wrong patient. When I arrived at 2:40 for my 2:50 appointment she said they were running 15 minutes behind. It's 3:36 and she has provided no update, no one has gone back and she's much more interested in making g chit chat than dealing with the wising room full of people. Extremely unprofessional. Edit to add: as I closed this review she started discussing which patients where in which room and indicated that I had been put in a room when i was still sitting in the lobby 2nd Edit - in addition to the awful customer service at the front desk the medical assistant who took my blood pressure did it wrong and I had to ask the doctor to do it a 2nd time. Then the doctor said she was calling in a prescription that she did not in fact call in. I tried to follow up but you can't actually call the clinic and the answering service left a message that was never returned. I gave up and made an appointment with my PCP. read more

After being a loyal user, I'm abandoning them. They are never busy and fairly efficient for an urgent care. My frustration is with their process. You have to take pictures of your drivers license and insurance EVERY time you go. I took my daughter and keep getting exorbitant bills saying there's no insurance on record. First off, I know it is because I had to add it before confirming the online appointment. Secondly, the bill shows I paid $10 at the visit. This is my co-pay. Why would you charge me $10 if you knew I didn't have insurance? Dealing with their billing service is a PIA. No more. read more

Don't go here do not waste your time. I went in to go get a check up. The lady refused to see me since I walked in said, what do I want. That is so disrespectful, and so unprofessional. "That if I knew I had to pay for the care of there". Obviously, if I am going in to see a doctor, I know I have to pay. This is the worst Citra urgent care and urgent care in general. I made an appointment for a RT-PCR Covid test a week in advance, showed up at my appointment time of 6:00pm. By the time I was done and back in my car, it was 6:14pm. The practitioner who conducted my Covid test was pretty gentle and I didn't experience any discomfort. I was told that the results would be available within an hour. I received an email with my results at 7:06pm. I'm waiting to see how billing goes, but if all goes well there (using insurance), this will be my go-to for Covid tests. I am really impressed that they really returned results in an hour. read more

Update I : 1 star review ---------------------- Covid PCR test-Procedure was pretty straight forward and easy.However,their reception staff sucks ,didn't give any instructions how we gonna receive test results. When I received an email,it's password protected attached file without any password instructions.Their phone line was not working. It has been 2 hours and have no idea how to contact them.they are about to close in an hour.I will update more once I get my test results. Kind of regretting using this urgent care place. I am very surprised with the lower ratings about Sinai Urgent Care. I have had 2 great experiences here getting COVID-19 tests and I tell everyone I know to try and get tested here! - Atmosphere: I feel very safe at Sinai. You wait outside / in your car until they have an open room for you and then they text you. The moment you walk in you're taken to a closed off room. - Service: The service is very efficient! You fill out all paperwork in advance so you only go in for testing. They take your vitals and medical history after they swab you for a rapid test to speed up the 15 minute wait time. After your results are finished, one of the team members comes to discuss your results and whether or not you'd like to get a PCR test as well. - Pricing: Sinai takes many insurance plans (listed on their website) and you can call to confirm if you're unsure. Overall, Sinai is the most efficient COVID-19 testing I've experienced or heard of. You can make appointments up to 2 days in advance, but if they don't have any available keep refreshing their site and it's likely you'll come across a cancellation. I haven't been to their other locations, but I've heard equally good things about their Dallas location! read more

The staff at Citra Urgent Care are working day in and day out to get your needs met. A medical settling is never structured because new challenges develop at any given time. Therefore, and patients have to be flexible. Some cases are more involved and take more office time; of your appointment maybe delayed. There is a lot of free time at the front desk, so if they want to entertain themselves, so what. If you are looking for VIP service, there are many internist that offer provider concierge service. read more

Cancelled and tried calling the location that's 4 blocks from home as they have availability but also having a website scheduling issue. apparently all calls go to a central call center rather than your local office and she wouldn't or couldn't transfer me to the location 4 blocks away. From the gal that answered the phone when I first called, to the receptionist, intake nurse, PA consult, treatment & check out it was as pleasant, effective & speedy as it could be. MY REVIEWS ARE FROM 2 DALLAS, TX LOCATIONS: I injured my hand and believed I'd broken bone(s) and made an appointment online at the Milton Snider Plaza Citra/Sinai location, DALLAS, TX. . Knowing I'd need x~rays, I made sure to check to see if they offered X~ray. They did. When I arrived for my 6:23 pm appt on Memorial Day at 6:20 pm, they had no record of it so I had to fill out paperwork, again. (Another reviewer had the same problem, I see). Again, damaged hand. The young blonde who'd taken over for the older brunette, I told her I am pretty sure I'd broken my hand. She never looked up nor responded even though I was the only person now in the room, as a man waiting had just gone back. IF she had been doing her job and glanced up at me the person standing directly in front of her and talking to her at her desk not even 2 feet away, she would have seen me cradling my swollen, bruised hand. But, no....She was too busy chatting, messing with her hair and laughing with another woman at the front desk. (I see more than one reviewers had this same issue with one of your front desk attendants). IF she had been doing her job, she could have told me their only x~ray tech had gone home earlier in the day so I would not be able to obtain X~rays there but she could schedule me at another nearby location. NOTE; They close at 8:00 pm. About 10 minutes later, when I was called back to an exam room, the PA, David, was professional and courteous and apologetically told me he couldn't treat me because they had no X~ray tech. As I prepared to leave, a petite brunette woman knocked on the door and she, too, apologized for the inconvenience. I'm sorry I cannot recall her name. Maria? Very polite and concerned and she could see I was in pain. I calmly and politely suggested to them they might inform the front desk personnel they should "process" information they are told by incoming clients and, if necessary, let them know you do not have an X`ray technician. (***Ideally, your tech people could do that for you, online,) Note: I'm not sure why he took my vitals since I was leaving to go to another clinic and they close at 8:00 pm, and it was now after 7:20 pm. When I arrived at the Retail Road/NW Hwy location, DALLAS, TX about 5 minutes later, the front desk person, Anna, was attentive and knew I was to be arriving. There was no one else in the clinic except personnel. No other patients. After waiting in the empty lobby for about 8 minutes (again...with my painful and probably broken hand and I still cannot be seen by Citra/Sinai personnel for various reasons), I walked over to the desk and could see and hear a person seemingly in charge asking another person on the phone how to process my visit since I'd just come from the Snider Plaza location minutes before, Finally it was resolved and I was seen by Lisa who was in charge. She was professional, helpful, and courteous. Just great! My x~rays revealed a compound fracture of my left 5th metacarpal and possibly the 4th. Doctor remotely has diagnosed and said it would require surgery. The x~ray tech gave me a CD with the x~rays on it and instructed me to take with me to my soon~to~be~scheduled doctor appointment. The following day, I gave the CD to my hand surgeon, but was told there was nothing on that disc! So, I had to have more x~rays taken. I will say the people I mentioned by NAME from both the Milton/Snider Plaza and Retail Road/ NW Hwy locations deserve commendation. However, the women I described at the front desk at the Milton/Snider Plaza location for Citra/Sinai really need to improve their communication skills in addition to getting guidance on basic common courtesy skills they should have already learned at their age, and if they plan to keep jobs in the health industry area. After my problems with your company in 2 different locations only minutes apart, I read more reviews here and if you read the negative reviews, it appears there is a problem and it is not with the actual medical personnel. At least 3 other reviewers have mentioned rude front desk attendants and problems with tech and successfully making online appointments. It's a shame because your medical staff I encountered are so good and your facilities are so nice and immaculately clean. Why not make the entire experience of visiting your ER Clinics the most pleasant experience it can be under the circumstances of having to go to the ER? Perhaps, begin with the first person we encounter at your clinics, the front desk attendants. We all know no one really looks forward to needing to go to an ER, much less being treated rudely by the first person they encounter there. Thank you for allowing me a review opportunity. read more

Addressed to Dr. Karr -- I made an appointment on 8/11 to get tested for COVID-19 as I was showing symptoms since 8/6 - 8/7. When I got there, I was asked whether I wanted to receive results from the rapid test or PCR test or both. I asked the specificities and accuracies of the tests and decided I wanted to receive results from both the tests. They took the samples (plural). My rapid test came out negative and was given a sheet with instructions to access my PCR test. The FNP who came to discuss the results said I had the symptoms but it doesn't necessarily have to be COVID and stated that he trusts the rapid test because they are 99% accurate. I left the urgent care slightly confused and was keenly waiting for my PCR test results. I called today to get an update on my PCR results and I was told that the samples were never sent to the lab and I will need to make another appointment if I wanted PCR results. Now, in addition to the front desk person being extremely rude to me, I was denied proper care, was given false information (e.g., rapid test being 99% accurate), and my swabs/samples were mismanaged/lost/not documented. I'd appreciate if someone reaches out to me regarding this. read more

Went to get my C19 test. Website doesn't tell you how long to get results. I should have called and asked. Got tested. Doctor told me 2-3 days. We're on day 4 so I called and the receptionist told me no, that's not correct it takes 3-5 days. I have people calling me everyday asking for my results. Giving fakes information as a doctor is unacceptable. read more

Sinai Urgent Care is the BEST for Covid-19 testing. You can conveniently make an appointment online, when you show up you only wait about 25 minutes in the comfort of your own car. The clinic is extremely clean and stress-free (no long waiting lines or crowded waiting rooms with patients). This clinic is efficient, professional, and I felt like I received excellent care (the doctor even checked my heart and lungs). I'd recommend this to anyone who needs Covid-19 testing (Rapid or PCR)! read more

I came here for Covid Antibody testing after being told it would take 10 minutes by another patron. All I can say is it likely would have taken an hour. 10 minutes before my appointment time I received a txt message that said I need to email in my insurance card. Using the mobile app provided by Blue Cross I went in and sent this as requested. I arrived on-time and followed the process to txt my last name to some tel# (that wasn't the same # as the txt message about the ID card) which I did. I waited outside and after a few minutes I got a txt saying they couldn't read my card in the email. So I screenshotted my card and txt'd it to the #. A few minutes later I get a txt message with a link and a code to "register". I load the page on my phone and enter code and get an error message. I txt the # a screenshot of the error message. A few minutes later I am able to get into the registration portal which asks me all kinds of questions about my ethnicity, the address of my emergency contact, etc. It seemed a bit intrusive for a simple blood test. In any case, a few minutes later I get another txt saying that I need to email them the ID card. At that point I simply gave up...too much work. Y'all really need to fix your tech and processes. read more

Meh I wasn't impressed. I've been to this clinic before it changed names 10+ years ago & I had good experiences then but I went yesterday and I wasn't impressed by the doctors bedside manner. She was snippy, ignorant and didn't make me feel very comfortable. She pretty much acted like I didn't know my own body or what I thought I needed... I'm no doctor but I definitely know my own body better than she does. Just felt like I was treated like a 5 year old going to see a doctor without my mom. The other staff was nice and polite which is the only reason why I am giving this place 2 stars. I wasn't given any kind of medication or really any helpful advice on how I could feel better. I walked out still feeling crappy and unwell. Felt like a waste of my time. I won't be going here again. I've been treated better at 'care now' and doing phone calls with doctors online than I was treated at this place. read more
