I decided to write a review today for 2 reasons: 1. I saw Lauren for the first time and she was wonderful. Not only did she squeeze me in for eyebrows after my bikini wax (didn't book that service) she gave me great advice re: eyebrow products to help them grow, help shape them, and even applied some color on after and they looked great. We talked fashion, body image stuff, etc and my wax session went by super fast - barely noticed it! 2. The young front desk lady (hadn't met her before) offered me a star sticker saying "do you want a sticker since you're out of this world?" explaining that kids get stickers for going to the dentist and I just went through much worse. Very cute. hey, adults are just grown kids - we all want a gold star!

There are many threading services within Indy but let me make this clear. Many people know how to thread. Not many know how to shape. JS Eyebrows knows how to shape your brows to your liking. Never in my 10+ of getting my brows threaded was I asked "how would you like your brows today?" JS eyebrows always makes sure to ask and to make my brows to my liking. They do a great job! Recently, they started expanding and offering more services. I tried derma planing and had a great experience. The facility was clean and staff was very attentive in making sure I was okay. Someone walked in right before me, so I had to wait about 5 min, as there was only one employee. The place was very quiet and appeared clean. As I waited I looked over the pricing guide and took photos. There were several pricing guides laid out by the register, each with different prices on them, some had the price crossed out with another price hand written. Then, there was a digital pricing guide on the wall, which again had different pricing (the most expensive of them). The employee spoke very little to me and what she did say was in mumbled/broken english. She worked quickly and did not apply any soothing serum on my skin afterwards. When I checked out, the price was higher than expected. I will not be returning.

I even was given a discount. I came back a few times since then, and will continue. The vibes are immaculate, immediately walking in, these people will treat you like family, even from Justine and Gary, when theyre not the ones treating you at that time. My first impression was that he listened to me and took into account everything I said. I have since returned to see Gari multiple times and now that I work out regularly, I try to make it part of my routine to get deep tissue massages from him as well to help with my progress and hiccups I encounter along the way way. He is extremely knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable the entire time. I have also received a waxing service from Justina here. It was like we had been friends for years. She made me feel comfortable and at ease the entire time. I have not had any service from Ellen because I always see Gari, but when I see her there and hear her interactions with her clients, she is kind, sweet, personable and very friendly. I have nothing but good things to say and will be a client here for life. The atmosphere is inviting, calm and peaceful!
