Went here on a whim to get a eyebrow and lip wax and it turned out great ! I got a girl named Chloe, she was very friendly and very fast. The establishment was very clean and in a nice area of Indianapolis. I was able to get in the next day after calling to make an appointment. I will be coming back for my next touch up. Popped in here for a spur of the moment wax and was not expecting to be able to get in but they were super accommodating. They were able to squeeze me in within a very small window of free time I had. The place is super clean and inviting. I think they may also have some sort of energy-saving thing going on with their lights that I really appreciate. Ashely was my waxer and was so kind and made me feel very comfortable. She talked me through what she was doing and talked to me about the different types of waxes they offered as well as some aftercare tips and tricks. I used to go regularly to the downtown location for the Naked Monkey, but this is so much closer to home! I now switch off based off where I am going to be a certain day whether I go to the Greenwood monkey or Downtown monkey. Every experience that I've had at any Naked Monkey location has been great! I HIGHLY encourage all of my southsiders to try this place for any waxing needs. They are amazing! Ashley is great with brows and she has also started to get me ready for my underarm waxing by giving my great tips and products to try. All of the staff is very welcoming and so nice! They are reasonably prices for their services, and they also offer student and pre-booking discount if you book your next appointment after a service. Everyone is very knowledgable with their waxes, products, and the industry as a whole. The building itself is so clean as well! I always walk in with a very refreshing feeling that nothing is dirty or smelly. They have a variety of different waxes that are used depending on the type of service you are having done, which I love! The wax that Ashley uses on my brows does not irritate my skin at all. The redness goes away for me in 4 hours max! Do yourself a favor and come check them out! You will not be disappointed! read more

It's so nice having a Monkey location on the Southside!! While I love the Fishers Monkey and Candace (seriously, she is nothing short of AMAZING), this is a great substitute, because I can zip over after work and snag a Brazilian appointment as late at 5:30pm. The gals were super flexible and were able to move my appointment up when I needed an earlier spot, which was so helpful. I was greeted with a smile by the receptionist and waited less than 2 minutes before Lauren took me back to the private waxing room. This new location is super clean and very welcoming, by the way. Lauren was quick and efficient, although not as chatty as some of the Monkeys I've met in the past. That's totally fine with me though; I'm not the shy type and don't really need nonstop conversation during a wax. I'm guessing she knew it wasn't my first time! However, I could see that a Brazilian newbie might be a little bit uncomfortable if that was their first time. The Naked Monkey is the only place in Indy I'll go for a wax, regardless of location. I have been to the Greenwood location twice now with the first time also being my very first experience! The ladies are very welcoming, friendly, and professional which put me right at ease. I had a lower leg and under arm wax and was so happy with the results that I added a Brazilian to my second appointment before my beach vacay. On my second appointment I had a different esthetician who chatted me up the whole time which helped to keep my mind off of what was in store! I will be back in six weeks for my next Brazilian, underarm, and lower leg wax!! I'm hooked! read more

I tried The Naked Monkey for the first time today. I will say my esthetician was very fast but not very thorough. It is a little disappointing. At first I noticed that I had a lot of wax residue left on me but figured I would take care of it at home. When I got home and got a good look at everything I found that she did not do a very good job. I had some small areas of hair left and some of the wax left on me was still connected to hair that I had to rip off. read more

This is my second time visiting the Naked Monkey and my second time getting a wax. I've always been afraid 1. Of the pain and 2. Of someone looking at my body. Well... I must say that I was scared as heck as I went in today for my first ever Brazilian wax! I called the store and they were able to get me in the same day. When I arrived I was greeted by the receptionist (Brittany) and my waxer (Ashley). They were both very nice from the start. I got back to the waxing room and Ashley was very thorough with explaining what she was doing (what type of wax she was applying and how she pulls it off). Not for one second did I feel awkward.
