They did a poor quality job, my roof leaked, they said they fixed it although they did not. Then when I tried to find them they said they were out of business. Now Infind they are still in business in Orlando? All I know is that they left about an 8x8 in sqaure area against a wall with zero plywood, just a hole. So when Milton hit and the rain came in side ways for 7 hours it leaked. Theybare liars and they do poor work. I would not recommend them. read more

Since our roof was finished and new skylights installed the skylights have leaked. And ruined the interior ceilings!! They sent someone to fix it after a year of texts and calls. But still EVERYTIME it rains it happens. So we are waiting on it to truly be done right. It's so sad. The roof was not cheap. read more

I have verified proof that this company discriminated against a black family. My husband and I are white, we had a rep from this company work with our insurance adjuster to get our roof covered. We then recommended this company to our daughter and SIL (black couple). The rep said: "No...we don't advocate for the homeowner. If you guys think the insurance company will pay for the roof, I would contact them and let them know that you think you have a claim. They will send an adiuster out to look at the roof. I thought that's what you guys already had done with Allstate. Obviously, we can put off the start date for the roof until you guys know what the insurance company is going to do. That's kind of what I was saying the other day. In some cases, it's pretty cut and dry, and they give the thumbs up within a couple of weeks. If they are not going to cover it, they usually let you know in a couple of weeks as well." I then contacted him describing our experience vs theirs. I said I wanted to contact the district manager. He called my daughter back and said NOW they'd be willing to work with their adjuster. He also responded to me once I mentioned to him I will contact his director to do the right thing. "That is fine. We have a Citrus Rep that is assigned to the job. He is available tomorrow to meet with me." Called this company several times to come out and figure out why their new roof on my house was still leaking in those same spots. They had no answer for me and just wanted to patch my new roof of only 3 months. So they patched it and guess what? It still leaks... needless to say this company does nothing to make sure the job is done the right way. They hire people with no knowledge of roofing or experience and refuse to replace my roof that is still leaking. not to mention the girls answering the phones will not let you speak to anyone in charge or a contractor for that matter. I had my roof replaced 5 years ago this month. I found out recently (I'm never on the roof) that my roof is highly compromised being soft with other repair person fearing of going through the roof. My understanding is that this is due to improper installation. Whatever. For almost a month I have called, left messages and even visited their offices during a work day during open hours. A live person has never picked up the phone, I have been on hold many times for 20, 30 min or longer, they never return messages and the offices were closed and dark with not one person in there. worst experience I've ever had with a contractor , the company Citrus Contracting roofing ( AK ) Agni Roofing is nothing other then a gang of con artist and rouge laborers that call them selves roofers, They hide behind a bunch of layers of liars who promises you things then use delay tactics from the time they sell you, until there supervise Manny comes out to feed you more lies! communication is derelict at best !!! there workmanship on my roof was so bad an entire second crew had to come in and repair what the original crew messed up! ( I have photos to show if any one cares to see them) The first crew came and put a roof on my house in 13 hours, and it showed too, they left in the dark when they couldn't even see there work, my wife who is a cancer patient had to ask them to leave at 8:40PM in the evening when it was almost completely dark because we knew they couldn't see, when there reply was we are finished , it was to dark to clean the yard so the next day when the sun came up and I saw the butcher job that the crew did on my roof and gutters and drip edge, I was shocked and very disappointed, when I finely I was able to peel the onion back and reach some one 24 hours later I was referred to the warranty department!! one day into a new roof THE WARRENTY department had to get involved!!? also a handy man had to get involved day two after initial job was so called completed? Maintenance man had to come to my house and try to put lipstick on a pig, It was a joke, I called and called and called complaining until a real supervisor came out after failing roof inspection on multiple fronts, a week later ( Manny ) was his name and agreed with me that the job was done wrong in a lot of areas, by then a whole week went by and my blood was boiling over the whole experience from my salesman to the different departments and city's all my calls were being routed by design it appears, That i was beside myself. its now been three weeks and multiple crews have been by to REPAIR a brand new roof to my satisfaction and its still not right? next week they have to send in a sub contractor to give me new gutters i didn't order ( mine were fine) because roofers butchered them as well? i mean total chaos, my wife's car was dented in the roofers process the neighbors mail box was run into the night the roofers left in the dark, nails were left all in my yard, and my poor wife in her garden work boots stepped on a nail and it went into her boot then foot!! she went to ER for a Tetanus Shot, and now is recovering from that!! again worst experience I have ever had and some of there good reviews on line are from employees!! never use this company, I wouldn't ever use them again !! again three weeks into job and not complete but 13 hours to do the initial roof, Pathetic ?? I have tried multiple times to contact Citrus Contracting to fix loose shingles on my roof that they installed in April 2023 - I provided them with an inspectors report which they acknowledged receipt of, but have yet to receive a call back after leaving multiple messages and emails. Every time I call I keep being sent to someone's voicemail with no return call. This is after I was told that I would not have to pay the hurricane deductible because of the way that the claim was filed but I ended up being hit with the hurricane deductible. read more

HORRIBLE DEPLORABLE COMPANY if I could give a negative 5, I would. Used Citrus contractors to replace our roof in 2019. Last week noticed a discolored area of ceiling in son's room; got on ladder touched ceiling and my hand went through drywall! Had independent inspector out who attributes leaks to poor workmanship of roof! Called Citrus contracting and was promptly informed they guarantee workmanship for 2 years. Explained situation & requested to speak with supervisor. WHAT A JOKE! Let's just say their customer service department, given 2 chances did absolutely NOTHING, NO HELP; No offer to inspect, no return call from supervisor, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! It should be noted that when Citrus did our roof; we came home to black instead of the ordered white facia/soffit. When we informed Brian of the color error he informed us although it wasn't what we ordered; it looked great, was more up to date in the way builders were doing roofs (two toned) and we should keep it as it looked better. (!!) After insisting we wanted what we ordered - Brian told us how much that would cost him personally as he wrote (messed up) order - did they fix the error. Geez, perhaps their obvious irritation and negative attitudes about fixing THEIR ERROR may have contributed to the overall horrible workmanship. **Interestingly enough, when I called customer service and explained the erroneous initial work I was told THERES NO DOCUMENTATION ABOUT IT. I guess that must be on their end as we have photo evidence of error (before and after pictures) Citrus Contracting taught me a very valuable lesson; Do Thorough Research! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they approached us about getting us approved for a new roof. So we hired them, and they did not honor there word and gave us the run around the entire time, and cold lied to us about what all they were going to do. They told us they would get several other things fixed & repaired as well during the process once approved by our HO insurance. We did get approved for our roof and we're just waiting on them to send in estimates to our homeowners insurance company so they could review and approve the other things that needed to be fixed ,and then they could begin working on replacing the roof. We'll we spoke with our insurance company after some time went by and found out they had never sent over any estimates to our homeowners insurance company so they could review and approve it. They continued only seeking to work on our roof and it became clear that they could careless about the other things they said they would get approved for us, but was only concerned with the roof. The salesmen that we initially worked with named Lawrence mislead & basically cold lied to my husband about numerous things he would get done. They made little to no effort to get the required estimates to our H.O insurance company so they could approve and begin work. The sad thing is that they approached us and came knocking on our door basically soliciting, with the only concern in mind was to make a sale. I LIVE BY the reviews from previous customers/ clients at company's that I intend to use, but I let my guard down and didn't see this coming. I am very disappointed and so regretful that I hired this company. As of 08/18/2023 the work that they were contracted to do is still incomplete! On 10/25/2022 I was solicited on social media after posting in a local Facebook group looking for a reliable contractor. I expected a few messages but not such a promising message offering to meet all of my construction needs. To my surprise I was contacted by Citrus Contractors but I was told that they are owned by Angi, as in Angie's list. They said that they can definitely do all of the work I had described in my post and even offer to help with my insurance claim. I thought it was perfect because I had so much damage in so many different areas of my home and I knew I would need a lot of different types of trade work in order to get my home back to how it was prior to the storm. Unfortunately, it has not been perfect. It hasn't even been okay..its been a nightmare that has been going on for almost a year. They have caused more damage, extensive damage that wasn't there after the hurricane, and are now refusing to fix it. They are also charging me the full amount of my contract without doing most of the work, and are cheeky enough to put it in writing. They put a lien on my house after knowing that my roof failed inspection, but will not communicate with me. The roofers that they sent were all drunk and I have video proof of them drinking alcohol while working on my roof. They've left such a mess at my house that a roofing nail embedded in my husband's leg while he was mowing the lawn, he was out of work for a week fighting the infection that it caused. They have fired almost every person that has had any contact with me. I do not recommend this company to anybody. They are horrible! Not only do they do bad work, but the refusal to communicate with me as a customer is so disrespectful. At this point, I may have to hire a lawyer in order to be made whole and to have the lien removed from my house. A lien that was put on for the roof that failed all three inspections and had to be replaced. My home has been in a constant state of construction since October of last year. This should not happen to anyone. This is not how a good contractor does business. After weeks of the run around trying to get an estimate and more time wasted attempting to schedule the work, days before the work was scheduled to begin I received an email from them saying they were no longer interested in working with me without any reason forcing me to start over. This company destroyed the gutter system around my entire home 4 months later I am still trying to get the first repair job corrected. They sent a young boy who barely speaks English and is not contracted to do the repair work. He did not even know why he was at my home. There are still areas that are not acceptable and one gutter in back is bent uneven and now has large shiny silver bolts all the way down my roof line. They also use a company for waste removal Griffin Waste Services and one of them caused my driveway to crack and shift downwards creating a step down/deviation. The dumpster company is blaming the roofing company and no one will fix the damage. I would NEVER recommend this company as this has been a nightmare. They will also coach you on filing a hurricane claim and give you dates to use. This will cause your deductible to go from 2k to 7k. My roof was almost 20 yrs old and is on a lake with strong gusts daily. A normal wind damage claim would have been sufficent. They refuse to waive any of the deductible and expect full payment. The install took about three days and went very smoothly. The crew showed up on time and left my property clean of nails and debris. This company allowed water into my home during the roofing process. It has been over 2 weeks and they have done nothing to remedy except pulling out some wet insulation. They also damaged my screen, soffits, facia, and gutters and do not respond to my phone calls or emails. Also, they have not requested a final inspection of the roof even though they finished 2 weeks ago. No communication, no follow through, thousands of dollars of damage and nothing. This company put a new shingled roof on my home in April and during this process caused damage to home on things that were not include in the scope of work. When the delivery of materials by the supply company (ABC supplies) damaged my new paver driveway with large trucks driving on it leaving tire marks, oil damage, and hydraulic fluids stains after being asked to not drive on it without laying something down for protection. I was not offered for the pavers to be replaced only that they would be cleaned and resealed "the sealer will hide the oil spots", I paid for someone to come and replace the pavers then allowed them to be cleaned and sealed only to leave me with pavers that have lost their color due to chemicals used and sand to not stay in the joints. Then during roofing workers damaged my custom gutter covers, my back flat roof was spray painted, and the dumpster was placed in front my front flat roof with the debris being hauled over to get to the dumpster. Now I have leaks on my front porch (which the flat roof was put on in 2015), I continue to have damaged gutter covers (installed in 2017), and the back flat roof (also put on in 2015) which required to be replaced by Citrus Contracting on June 20th due to I asked my house to be restored now leaks everywhere. The new flat roof that was put on the back has a long scratch on the panel and I was informed by the subcontractor (Jeff at JaDar Construction) that he knew that it was thers but couldn't be helped and paint being hard to match (it's a white roof panel) and refused to put back on my custom gutter covers "they are causing the leaks". This subcontractor was called back many times never fixing the leaks and stopped returning Citrus Contracting calls to fix them. After many months of constant texting and calling Citrus to fix the problem Sunshine Aluminum (a relative of JaDar Construction) came to "fix the leaks". A coating was painted in varies places not covering all the seams leaving gaps and holes that now channel the water even more where the leaks are. The gutter cover damage was addressed by Citrus Contracting attempting to put a cheap Home Depot product (after being told multiple times that it was not acceptable) in fact put them on part of my gutter with drywall screws drilling them into the flat roof. After many month of experiencing dust in my home and not able to keep it clean I asked my AC company that installed this AC in 2013 to investigate finding that most or all my of the joints in my duct work had leaks and that my attic was used for the roofers to discard their sweat towels and garbage, I had an AC inspection in Oct in 2018 that showed no leaks. I have made every good faith effort to give this company a chance to right their wrong only to have them either cause further damages and disrespect to my home. Without my knowing Citrus Contracting billed my insurance company for the damages and receiving additional money to be applied to my bill. When a copy of this bill was sent to me for payment in Aug it was noted that the insurance company had billed for supplies and repairs that were not done on my home with the bill for payment far exceeding the agreed amount. A email was sent back to Citrus Contracting for proof of the services/materials on it knowing that the damage still existed since April and not resolved with evidence of pictures, ongoing text message between me and Citrus Contracting of the issues. Due to the fact of I did not pay the bill which was over $5,000.00 higher and damages were not fixed, I was notified in Sept of a lien placed on my home although the lien and the validity of the statements are questionable due the amount on the lien is less than asked for me to previously to pay and the date that the last supplies were delivered to my home on June 24th is not exactly correct my scope of work was a shingled roof completed in April. To obtain a lien is to be 90 days from completion of a the job agreed to and the correction or repair of anything other than the agreed job cannot be included in the 90 days. There was never any supplies or materials delivered to my home on June 24th by Citrus Contracting. After bringing to their attention the questionable billing and allocation of money to my bill many times the final bill has come into alignment (although the higher amount continues to be on the lien), although I have yet been provided the updated invoice after asking Attorney Hurter. I have gotten estimates for the repair of my home submitting them which total over $6,000.00 and made attempts to resolve payment but want reimbursement for damages, refusing to release the lien, refusing to remit payment for damages even though emails/text/pictures show they acknowledgement well into Oct. I would not recommend this company for any job and I hope this saves someone else from experiencing this. read more
