In March 2023 Sean Lewen quoted me over $27K for a standing seam roof and then attempted to install cheap exposed-fastener panels. The quote also included metal over the patio room, which had to be changed because the grade was too shallow and did not meet regulation. How can someone who calls themselves a professional not know the correct angle? I received a small partial refund for that unauthorized change order. They definitely got me for probably 2-3K just on that. Don't take my word for it. Look at the contract which reads "standing seam" right next to the 5V panels. I did not research what 5V meant because I chose to trust him. That was a big mistake. Then look at his response as if we're friends and redirects the concern from the seams to striation. Now look at the workmanship on the first roof. He then goes on to assure me that the 5V panels will be fixed until I repeatedly refuse to accept them. On the second attempt this time at an actual standing seam roof, TJ couldn't get the materials right until the third order, with weeks in between leaving everything sitting on the lawn uncovered and getting rained on. The grass has not fully grown back in the areas where it had pallets on it for months in total between the two attempts. They finally corrected some bent pieces front and center right over the garage. Almost a year from start to finish. I could go on. They installed windows and sliding door too which also dragged on for months. Rolando missed the original post inspection date and also lost a part to install the door screen, then tried to ignore it. I had to call the main office to sort that out. One of the bedrooms still smells like cigarettes. There were some people who tried to help but this review is not about them. It is about Gale Force Roofing & Restoration, a company that employs and protects patronizing con artists like Sean. The stress this caused, I would not wish on my worst enemy. Please learn from my mistake and take your business elsewhere, especially if you are a new or inexperienced homeowner. This was a total nightmare. read more

In July, I initiated a roofing estimate and insurance claim through Galeforce. Afterward, I contacted the Project Manager assigned to my case, who informed me that he had been terminated from the company. Attempts to reach Galeforce through the contact number listed on their website were unsuccessful, as the number was no longer in service. Furthermore, my email inquiries were returned as undeliverable. It was only after I posted a public review expressing dissatisfaction with their communication practices that I received a response, approximately two months after transferring a $20,000 insurance check to Galeforce. Due to the lack of adequate communication and follow-up, I requested to be released from the contract. However, Galeforce is now demanding a 20% fee for alleged breach of contract. I assert that this contract should be deemed null and void, as Galeforce has since been acquired by Lifetime Quality Roofing, effectively dissolving the original entity. Moreover, the contract stipulates that a failure "to timely enter into a formal building contract" incurs a 20% fee. Since I entered into the agreement in a timely manner, I am not in breach of this provision. Additionally, the contract does not explicitly outline Galeforce's duties, but it is reasonable to expect that the company would inform me of any changes in project management. It is equally reasonable to expect that I would not be required to resort to writing a negative review in order to receive a response. Therefore, I formally request to be released from the contract without penalty, enabling me to proceed with another roofing company for the completion of my claim. read more

I am not easily impressed but the service and professionalism I received from Gale Force Roofer did just that! It was my first time having to replace a roof and needless to say, I was dreading it. After hours of research and 100s of reviews, I decided on 3 companies. I went on each website and requested a quote and additional information. Gale Force Roofing was the last one, yet the first to respond. I was immediately impressed with Laurie who was the first to call. Her professionalism and confidence gave me hope for a smooth transaction. I scheduled an appointment. I watch the rep arrive 5-minutes before the appointed time and wait in his car. I watched him approach and knock on the door promptly at the appointed time. They were off to a good start. Ted introduced himself and came in. Ted explained the product being used, Owens Corning duration shingles and the end-to-end process. He was professional and knowledgeable. I did not even feel the need to meet with the other roofers. Our Project Manager Ted Abrahamson and the whole team at Galeforce were very professional and couldn't have been more helpful when we needed our roof replaced after Hurricane Ian. They made sure that we understood our insurance policy and everything that they were going to do for us. Gale Force Roofing & Restoration was very professional and punctual through the whole process start to finish. Mr. Roy was the project manager assigned to my home and everything went very smooth. He showed up to the adjuster meeting and was able to inform the adjuster the damage he found so that the claim ended up being successful. I was updated in a timely manner through out the process. The roofers finished my home in One day which was very impressive considering my roof is 37 square. The entire process from the 1st inspection to the last shingle laid was about 6 weeks which was great considering this was an insurance claim. I went with the Aged Copper color From Owens Corning. It's their Duration Designer shingle and man does it compliment the home and give it that curb apeal. I'm just happy gale force was able to complete my wishes as requested. As for the actual construction. . . . the roofing crew was on the job at 7AM As promised. They removed the old roofing and replaced plywood where necessary. The gutters were reattached then cleaned. I bought 2 roofs from Gale Force Roof The roof inh (Liam W.) Salesman after Hurricane Ian, one cash, one insurance. I signed the contract with Liam W..he explained that since so many roofs are going up due to a lot of damange that the wait time was longer than normal.. He tarped my damage. Soon the supplies were dropped on the roof, then the roofers came they installed the roof another group did the gutters. They handled the insurance for me on the insurance claim. The home that was paid cash, the process was smooth and the roof beautiful...They were honest with the time frame and cash. Gale Force Roofing Representative Liam did a fantastic job keeping us informed of the roofing procedures and processes related to storm damage to our roof and the insurance protocol. Roof was literally removed and replaced in one day and we have a 3600 spare foot home that took more than 50 squares of shingles.. The materials used were Owens Corning Duration lifetime warranty shingles with Gale Force including a lifetime labor warranty. This was quite a team. I attempted to count a few times and never got it right. We had a team of 16 guys on the job. They were able to completely replace my roof in one day. I went up on the roof myself while some of the work was being done and I observed the team. They did not take shortcuts. All the areas that had rotten wood were cut out and replaced. I also pointed out a couple of things I wanted, and the team complied without making a fuss. Overall, I am very happy with the replacement. I might have not slept the night before the replacement, but I am sleeping well now. I worked with Greg as my salesperson and Washington as the project manager. read more
