Quote $8800. Paid cash. Sent me a bill for $4,000 more. Refused. Ruined my credit. Insurance paid them another $4,000. Ruined my credit.

Dr. Lewis took very great care of me and an extraction of my tooth. He demonstrated the very best in his knowledge and professionalism for me. He also was very respectful of my wife and courteous at all times in his busy schedule. He now has my wife and me as new customers in his dentistry. Tracy his assistant was excellent as well with her kindness and proficient care. The office was very clean and didn't wait long at all. Thank you Dr. Lewis and Tracy for a great experience. Luis S.

During the process, the dentist extracted a healthy upper wisdom tooth on my left side in order to place a bridge for two dental implants. On the upper right side, I had a tooth that was partially broken and needed to be replaced with an implant, but the dentist also extracted a neighboring healthy tooth. Before both of these healthy teeth were extracted, I questioned the need for the extractions. However, because I did not have sufficient knowledge about dentistry, I ultimately could not reject their explanations and was forced to accept their recommendations. What has caused me the most pain and frustration is the last implant. It was already loose on the very day it was placed. When I returned to the clinic the following day, the dentist made an enormous effort to try to remove it, but he could not. Looking back, I find the situation almost absurd. Instead of taking responsibility, he claimed that I needed to see a specialist at Gainsville and that the problem was related to other issues with my gums. After I moved to another state, I learned that the solution was simply to remove the crown and replace the implant with a new one. In an effort to save money, I also searched for a dental clinic in another country that could provide the same brand of implant, but unfortunately I was unable to find one. Now I have no choice but to return to Georgia and look for another dental clinic because my current clinic does not use the Bicon implant system. This means I will have to pay higher consultation and diagnostic fees just to find a dentist who can determine the appropriate solution. At this point, I am in a great deal of pain and distress because the implant itself may have to be removed completely, including the implanted post, simply because of this loose crown. I have already invested far too much time and energy into this situation, and I will have to spend even more money in the future to fix it.

In 2021 my husband and I began seeing this dental office. For the first year or so, all went well…read more Here's what happened: My husband and I had separate insurance policies with Cigna. We also had separate HRA's. I asked the office to contact me for mine, my husband for his. Sometime after the first year, I went in for a cleaning and was told my husband owed this office a substantial amount of money. Not sure what they were talking about. A phone call from the office manager revealed that I owed nothing, but my husband owed money. I could only presume that the office had combined the two accounts. I contacted the insurance company, and was working toward separating the accounts. During this time, my husband received a cancer diagnosis, and we concentrated heavily on this issue. Also during this time, the office manager left a voicemail on my husband's phone. Being a bit preoccupied, he didn't listen to his voicemails . When I went through his phone, I discovered it was a voice mail from the office manager of this dental office. He had a scheduled cleaning, and decided he would speak to them when he went in. When he arrived at his appointment time, they informed him that they had cancelled his appointment, and sent his account to collections. Now, we cannot file anything to either HRA, as the deadline had passed. When I've called the office the staff is very short. I went in the office this past Monday, as my bridge had popped off while I was out of town. I discovered that the office manager had been involved in a serious accident and was not available. I spoke with the girl at the front desk, explained what had gone on, and she assured me that someone would call me back. When she pulled up MY account, it had my husband's cellphone number on it, not mine. Since my husband has passed away, that number will do them no good. I had to give her my number again. Guess what? No phone call. I can't tell you how displeased I am with this office. While Dr. Lopez is an absolute wonder, the office staff is not so great. In fact, I don't recognize anyone in that office anymore.

I explained this and set up a consultation and cleaning for the same day. the receptionist said they do not usually do that but, in my case, they would make an exception. When I arrived, I asked to be sure I was getting both services and was told (By the receptionist that I had explained this to), "No, this is consultation only. The cleaning technician is not here today". When I questioned her about our discussion, she said "Neither of us would ever say that you could do both services at once". Her associate was talking at the same time and said we sometimes do both but not today. I then asked them "Which is it? You never tell people you can or sometimes you can do both? I cancelled the consultation and never went back.
