They told me I had to purchase a new pool pump from them for over $3,500 after being told my existing one was a "gas hazard" and "smoking" and beyond repair. Now, as I have interviewed and met with three other local pool providers and the company that made the pump, I have learned that pump was only five months old and still under full manufacturer warranty -- something the company failed to check or disclose. On top of that, the owner, Jim, personally scheduled seven (7) separate meetings with me (some requiring my assistant to attend on my behalf since I could not be there, the most recent being all day Tuesday) and did not show up for a single one. This wasted both my time and money. When I asked for a quote to repair a chip in the pool, they refused to even provide one until I purchased the unnecessary new pump. The only positive interaction I had was with the office manager, Heather, who was professional and courteous. Unfortunately, her efforts could not make up for the company's lack of accountability. After sharing my experience, the company has not offered reimbursement or admitted wrongdoing. I am left with unnecessary costs, wasted time, and a strong sense that this business does not value honesty or customer service. I deeply value the importance of business reviews and use them myself when making a decision. I cannot recommend them to anyone seeking trustworthy pool service.
