Made to wait an unnecessary length of time. Sat for over an hour waiting for the doctor to see me while he sat and chatted with reps (not patients) who walked in and sat down in his office. I discussed this with the receptionist and she apologized, but did nothing. It's understandable if a doctor runs late because they're spending time with patients. In this case, he simply sat and chatted, during my appointment time, to a couple of men who didn't belong there during the workday without merit. Very unprofessional and no one seemed to care. It was my first visit. Wasn't seen. The receptionist didn't/couldn't do anything. I had to leave. The nurse who took my vitals was, however, great. No complaints about her. It's a shame the rest of the visit went so poorly. Now I have to find another doctor and wait, again, until I can see them. They clearly don't value other people's time. My appointment was booked well in advance. There was no good reason for this. Plain negligence and lack of care. Very unprofessional and unnecessary. This could have been easily resolved if the doctor had told these men he had patients and to visit him when he had free time. The receptionist should have told the doctor he had a patient who had been waiting, and, not allowed the men to just waltz in the way they did. Truth be told, I really don't enjoy leaving negative reviews. But this experience was just too bad to stay quiet about. People need to know this isn't acceptable. Patients should always come first. The staff ought to treat them with the dignity and care they deserve. I'll never go back. read more

I went to Dr. Ghassan Hasan as a new patient. Yes, there was a wait, but it was well worth it. I was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. I was used to doctors that overbooked and barely spent 5 minutes with you. Dr. Hasan spent quite a lot of time with me. He asked questions and gave recommendations. Dr. Hasan talks to you, not at you. It is obvious Dr. Hasan really cares about his patients and loves his occupation. He is not a pill pusher like many doctors are nowadays. Another reviewer complained about the long wait time while the DR (KHAN) chatted with drug reps. Same thing happened to me except that I was there on an EMERGENCY APPOINTMENT followup to an appointment FROM the previous day. Hassan standing out in the patient waiting area blabbing with reps and ignoring me. A totally unprofessional and mostly pathetically inept practice, from a doctor who is so FULL of HIMSELF and who is incapable of making intelligent decisions to a clinical staff that does not even bother to let the patient know of highly out of range blood tests till 10 days later and AFTER the patient complained of lack of follow up. This practice utilizes a "patient portal" which is just bs doublespeak for a virtual space that enables the practice to completely avoid human contact and a fake feedback system that accomplishes nothing. Here's a sample of the typical useless reply... "Please know that our practice Manager has reviewed the information that you provided and has taken appropriate action." DON'T BELIEVE the 5 star reviews OR the replies to the negative feedback giving made up excuses and fake promises to correct the problems, they simply DO NOT CARE. Dr. G. Hasan, MD was recently recommended to me and is now my new primary care doctor. I have only lived in Florida not quite a year and a half but finding a primary care doctor that I felt I could trust and feel comfortable with has not been an easy task and I honestly did not think was even possible! It took a couple of visits to "feel" him out and I have to tell you that this doctor is a very kind, caring and compassionate man BUT I guess more importantly takes his Oath very seriously when it comes to providing unprecedented care for his patients. His primary concern is the care of his patients and the quality of care that he delivers. Its is why he became a Doctor. I was afraid this might be a thing I lost when I left Illinois and my primary doctor there of 39 years. He takes time with you and gets to know you and seriously LISTENS to what each and every patient has to say and today this is a rare commodity! I never feel rushed and he always asks how I am but MEANS it! He has an incrediable personality and bedside manner. He is very observant, perceptive and through and misses nothing. I know he is there for me at any cost. He brought me through a difficult time which would have been horrible without him and his expertise. I'm glad to see him every three months because I have something to look forward to. You or anyone you love will be in great hands and care with this committed doctor and his staff.
