this office does not care about their patients. I called multiple times saying my symptoms were getting worse and they told me "to keep doing what I'm doing" offered zero assistance until I literally wasnt keeping food down and losing weight at an alarming rate. meanwhile 9 months later from this and im still no closer to being on a medication for my ulcerative colitis. gross negligence comes to mind with this office. read more

I had an Upper Endoscopy on Friday and from check in to check out was very impressed. When checking in I was not sent to fill out paperwork by sitting in the waiting room. The woman who was in charge of checking you in was very pleasant. When Dr Mather was going to a little late I was informed. The nurse who check bloodwork came right out and took me to the back to get everything ready then allowed me to return to the waiting room to sit with my husband. When I was taken back for the actual test the whole team was amazing and put me at ease. After the test I was treated great. I feel like I made the best choice when choosing Dr. Mather and his team are an amazing choice. You cannot find a better practice. read more

Excellent medical staff. However, somebody MUST get a grip on office (location) scheduling. Even though very specific schedules are posted on their door (Navarre location (M-F Lunch 11:30-12:30)) on two separate occasions I have shown up (for questions, not for appointments) and, after waiting over 20 minutes for somebody to come back from lunch, I've called the main office to find out that they were not open THAT day, at THAT location (On a Friday and on a Tuesday) even though the schedule stated the opposite. Apologies are great but NOT fixing the underlying problem is unacceptable. It is NOT that expensive to change stick-on letters and let's face it, it IS a Dr's (specialist) office not a general store. read more

Colonoscopy and Endoscopy. Everything from start to finish was smooth. Woke up surprised that it was over so quickly. Staff was very professional. Instructions on pre-op and post-op was clear and thorough. They answered all questions that I had before the surgery. Very well run business. read more

I like Dr Shindie. It is a nice office and they have a great staff. A real person actually answers the phone. Appt are easy to get. There is not much of a wait when you check in. read more

This review is directed solely to one member of the office staff who I interacted with over the telephone today. I received an automated call about a missed appointment and pressed the link to stay on the line to reschedule. The individual who answered started to interrupt me from the very beginning as I gave her my name, my husband's name (the call concerned him) and while I was giving her his birthdate, she interrupted to ask for that. I explained that I had previously cancelled the appointment in question and why. With every statement I started she seemed to interject something that made the conversation more complicated than it needed to be. I found her rude and condescending and dismissive. She made it clear that she was in charge of the conversation and when I said I didn't want to argue about anything she sarcastically wished me a "blessed day". I have never experienced this type of behavior from anyone else employed at this facility and have always been treated with courtesy and respect. read more

Dr. Hellstern is an amazing doctor. However, the office staff is rude, impersonal, and incompetent. They schedule appointments incorrectly, cancel appointments without contacting you, they lie and say they left messages where it is not possible to leave them, and schedule appointments out of sequence which causes you to miss work 3times for the same procedure. The staff is full of idiots, but the drs. Are great. read more
