I called Hoovers the next morning and told them what the car was doing and asked could they service it. I spoke with a guy name Jeff. Jeff stated it would be $129 for diagnostic and tow. I paid for that over the phone. 30 mins later , Jeff called me to advise me that they had sent a worker out to McDonald's to jump start the car and did work , so I'd have to pay for a tow. Yes , that's correct after he told me it was included in the $129. I used my roadside assistance and got the car towed to Hoovers. About 3 hours later , Jeff called me and stated they figured out what the problem was and the car needed a Starter. I asked if that was it , and he stated " yes , but after we put the started on if we find anything else , I'll call and let you know ". He told me the Starter and Labor would total $645. I thought that was kind of high , but my son needed his car the semester was ending in 2 days. I paid $300 for the Starter right then. Jeff stated I could pay the remaining $345 when he calls and tells me the car is ready. He told me the Starter was in a difficult place , so that's why the labor was $345. 35 minutes later , Jeff called me and told me my son car was ready for pickup. YES , labor was $345 for 35 minutes. He also told me , nothing else seemed wrong with the car. Picked the car up , the next day my son leaves to come home and the car stopped again after driving about 12 miles down the road. I called Hoovers , they told me to have it towed back and what they did was next warranty. Mind you the car is doing the exact same thing from the first time they had. Jeff calls me a day later and tells me , the motor locked up , but they can't understand how it locked up cause it's oil in the car. Basically spent $800 for 12 miles. Jeff was rude , hind the phone up in my face and tried to say my son prob drives bad so the engine messed up. Very disrespectful! I wouldn't , take a bicycle to this shop , let alone another vehicle. STAY AWAY , FAR AWAY !!!!!

I took my 20 year old car in for new brakes (upgrade) and it had a coolant leak I asked them to…read morediagnose. Turns out it was the water pump, and it was throwing a code for the fan clutch, so he suggested I replace that as well - since it had to come off to get the new water pump in anyway. The new fan clutch was unbalanced and failed after driving for a day, ripping its own harness off, causing a short that prevented the vehicle from starting once I arrived home. I called and talked to Elite Performance, and they had my vehicle towed back in to repair it. They switched to another brand of fan clutch and replaced it at no charge. Stand-up guys! I will be taking it back to get the engine tuned soon.

Replaced my heater core in 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee which involved dropping the entire dash. Now…read morethe vehicle will not start or shuts down after ignition. Not Happy! Accidents happen but not to take ownership and at least admit the dropped dash could have damaged the BCM....is not what I want to hear...then tell me I have to get it off their lot....unreal! Now the jeep (which ran fine prior to the heater core replacement) needs a Body Control Module. Update: they had forced me to get it off their lot, even after they knew it would not run. In fact, it ran fine when I took it to Patrick. Anyway, they said it was a bad BCM...so I sold it for $1,000.00 and guess what. The guy who bought it took it to jeep dealership and paid $50.00 to reprogram BCM and now the jeep runs like a top again....but not for me....I ended up with a new freakin truck payment out of the deal. Patrick is a nice guy but his wife....different story. I think what happened is they forgot to disconnect battery cables when they dropped the dash....messed up the programming in BCM but did not want to admit it. I like to think they cost me $48,000 bucks....Thanks Patrick.

They told me they couldn't pick up the fuel filter at the same time because they weren't allowed to buy after market parts and they do t have an account so they had to take money out of the till. They finally got the oil change done however I was extremely disappointed in the professionalism and the quality of work. I would not take my truck back or recommend anyone else take theirs there.
