This happens especially in the room where the coffee shop is located. PLEASE STOP! Go outside with your personal conversations if you're not going to Calvary Chapel to listen to the service. You can listen to the service in your car. And to the parents who love to leave your kids running around yelling and talking loudly (while you encourage them) making all kinds of noise. PLEASE STOP! When you tell your children in the service that their yelling is cute and you're laughing with them. This isn't right. Go outside and play with your children. You're there to listen to the service... not create disruptions so people who want to listen to the service aren't able to. And it would be great on Wednesday nights if the ushers would close the doors to the room where the cafeteria is, so we don't have to hear the ushers talking loudly in the hallway where people enter the church. Hopefully people who are reading this will show respect for the people who want to listen to the Word

The congregation is very welcoming and very open to newcomers. This can be seen by the first few faces that a person meets at the church: their welcome table. It has all the neccities to make one feel welcome: information about the church; personal items such as masks, tissues and informational pamphlets; and most importantly, welcoming people--volunteers with the sole job of making people feel welcome by answering any questions a newcomer might ask. The elders there are also amazing as well. Especially the Pastor. Pastor Ben delivers very thought-provoking sermons coupled with compassion and prayer. The elders' hearts can also be seen by the various ways that Anchor Community Church invites its congregation to worship. First and most obvious: the worship team. The worship team consist of various members rotate leading and serving on stage. You can tell that they spend hours practicing so that they can deliver the best experience that really allows the congregation to worship God distraction free. Other ways that the Anchor Community Church invites its congregation to worship God is through its Community Groups. This is where I feel Anchor Community Church really shines. Through its Community Groups, I have found that I am able to worship God and have biblical fellowship that edifies and encourages one another by discussing the previous sermons and by studying the Bible together. Overall, if you are looking for a church that glorifies God by its active congregation, ministered by apt elders, Anchor Community Church is right for you.

I was discipled by the woman at this church and have learned a lot from attending Sunday School as well. There are many helping hands who care for my spiritual well-being here. There are multiple ministries and groups to be plugged into. There are also a lot of resources for new believers and believers who want to be involved and connected. During the early worship the music sounds amazing because the church band uses the theater's sound system. I really enjoy that the sermons are easy for me to understand and always supported by scripture. You will leave with so much joy in your heart. Highly recommended! They are located at the Performing Arts Theater in Downtown Covina. They rent the theater for their church services every Sunday morning.

She had 2 sons and a daughter on the way named Victoria due 4 days before my Serenity. I'm feeling good. Can't wait to experience my first day here as I sit here listening to this real pastor speak. Come check it it. I'll be here for the next 40 days as we get into "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. I already read this book 3 times but it's always great to reflect and take each day at a time studying daily chapters and seeing how the journey has changed and growing. Thank you God.
