San Angelo also has this worthy cause that I'm writing about. I just wanted to share are experience and band all the Tastyliciousness we enjoyed. Please read on and Enjoy - = = = Saturday "Savor San Angelo" held a benefit for "Meals for the Elderly" at San Angelos 'McNease Convention Center' with the Title Sponsor being 'Harper Funeral Home'. This is an Annual Event and it features Chefs in San Angelo who provide Meals for Seniors and the attendees this day get to sample all the Deliciousness these Chefs create - and you can go back for more. They also have Wine, Beer, Coffee, Teas & Waters for you - it's All Good Stuff. They also provided various forms of Entertainment for everyone - "Susan Kolb" / Facebook (musician) - then SuSan Kolb - she was absolutely Awesome. 'The Lake View Mariachi' / Facebook / Band - who performed many numbers and this group is the Best Mariachi Band EVER. They were booked for 'Five Performances' this day. Also performances by Lisa & Mark Lesosky (guitar & vocalist) and Quang Le & Dan Tranh. Savor San Angelo knows how to entertain their attendees - and we attendees loved it all. My Wife and I were overwhelmed at all the Tastyliciousness created by these Chefs and it was a Huge turn-out. This is a motel that is very old. We stayed for 1 night.We reserved a king size bedroom. Got there…read moreno microwave. I was told only some king-size bedrooms come with a microwave,they did not have any other king-size beds available so we moved to a room with 2 queens not very happy but it did have a microwave. The room did not have any empty plugs so we had to ask management for an adapter. There is NO ice machine. They use a cooler and fill it with ice ( very unsanitary). The breakfast consists of bagels and muffins. If you want something warm you pay extra. The room was clean the bed was comfortable,but Not worth $155 + tax about $185 total.I saw a $100 charge on my account. They put a hold on your card.I called tonight to ask how long it would take to be released and was told it could take 4 days. Also was told I could be charged $5 for a make up stain on a wash cloth if it doesn't come off. UNBELIEVABLE.

The staff was very helpful with all thing requested I had a problem figuring out how to work the remote for the tv couldn't figure out the volume and the young man came to my room to show me and I felt less than able once he showed me how it worked. Gotta push up and down not in who knew. All in all a wonderful stay at an amazing place.

This hotel is approximately one year old as of 3/23. Everything is new and in great condition. The bedding is excellent. The style is modern and slightly minimalist. The bathroom is great with a handheld shower and large counter. One criticism though - the management should loose the fluorescent lighting and add lights in the bath. Not really good if your eyes aren't perfect. I highly recommend this venue!
