    Liars. Charged $625 for an estimate but stated that we owned all the work (drawings and renderings…read moreetc) to justify the price. Lie. Gave us a quote of almost $500,000 (half a million dollars) to finish a basement and convert a garage (already built) into living space. Told us during site visit that it would be around $170-$180k for both. Totally unprofessional. You should have your head examined if you use this company for anything. To anyone reading this - I would seriously think twice before calling them.

I asked why and was told that sometimes people "steal" their ideas. Reluctantly I agreed, thinking it was stupid. So in two days when I received an emailed invoice for that amount I ignored it. Two days later I received a late notice for that invoice. I responded with en email stating that professional business practice offers a standard of paying for services received. A day I received another late notice so I called the number and spoke to a very young person to question this practice. She responded, "oh ok. Then i I guess you can pay them when you meet!" Very pleasant, very green. At that I went I look at the website. The home page photo was a 30-40-ish man on a speedboat. I canceled that meeting and then found a professional and experienced firm who is interested in what I'm looking for. I think JRQ probably has good business data systems, but no clue how to engage a boomer. Good luck.
