First time getting anything dry cleaned!- I was nervous to take a couple of my favorite wool coats to be cleaned (I've heard stories of clothing being ruined by dry cleaners') but City Dry Clean did an awesome job! Not only cleaned but also depilled which made them look brand new again. The price was super reasonable ($40 each coat) and both were ready in two days. Their staff is also great! Avoid at all cost. I would give ZERO stars if I could. I brought in a few items and was quoted a specific price. When I returned a week later to pick up, the older man working the counter tried to charge me double. When I addressed that his co-worker, an older women also working at the time, had quoted a different price, he was rude, dismissive, and frankly unprofessional. I wish zero stars was an option. I dropped off a long wool coat for dry cleaning and to fix a tiny unsewn seam. When I picked it up the owner asked for $80, despite having told me initially that it would be $70 including another small fix that I ended up not going for. I requested a price change and she accepted $70. But none of the pilling has been shaved off like I asked, the coat doesn't smell clean and when I looked at the bottom I realized it's still full of dirt. It's an old coat so I could understand not getting everything, but it appears they (over)charged me for something they didn't touch. When I asked the owner for some of my money back she became belligerent, yelled at me and threw $10 at me. I at no point raised my voice in return. She handed me a lint roller and told me to remove the dirt myself, countering that they are just a quick service dry cleaner. But why accept a job you know you can't handle? She yelled that I needed to leave and then started full on screaming and ran at me when I tried to close the shop door on my way out. It was the most abusive, unnecessary customer service interaction I've ever had. Stay away from this place. read more

I thinK she does a really nice job. I've taken my clothes here twice and she has not disappointed me yet. This place is immaculate and so organized. I drop off and get a receipt with my last name on it. Off I go with a time & date given. Done! Now, about the cost? This time for my two coats cost me at least $56. bucks. I thInk is pretty pricey. I'd like to think that I'm paying for the location. This place is located in Edmonds at the 5 corners. Would I come back for the third time? Idk yet. Tbh. read more

Way too expensive!!! I could see spending a couple of dollars for a shirt but they are charging 7.50 for each shirt and I usually get my pants dry cleaned for about nine dollars for a pair of pants they were 13.50. They say they are an organic dry cleaning company so maybe they use special water or something. I spent well over $70 for seven shirts and one pair of pants. I could buy brand new clothes with that kind of money. And no way I can justify spending another hundred dollars for around 10 shirts to be dry cleaned. I'll hunt around for someplace that won't break my bank. read more

The prices are outrageous. I was charged $40+ for a simple knee length dress with no embellishments and over $20 for a plain black blazer. Neither had any specific stains or anything special about them. After tax I paid over $70 for a dress and blazer... the receipts are hand written with no prices so you get a surprise when you pick up your garments. Will have to look elsewhere for dry cleaning unfortunately. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would! The lady who 'helped' me was so rude to me for no reason. She wasn't sure if she could tack my dress so I asked her to call me if she wasn't able to do it so that I could rush it somewhere else before we left on vacation. Then I asked her how much it would be for the alterations and she said she didn't know. So I asked her for a ballpark estimate and she snapped and told me to go somewhere else as she quickly unpinned my dress and left to the back of the store. I just couldn't believe she was that rude to me for asking some clarification questions. Needless to say, my family and I will not be using their services moving forward! read more

Absolutely the most outrageous and horrible experience. Had some tablecloths to be pressed (NOT CLEANED) They were brand new and not massively wrinkled-just needed pressing. these were not gigantic tablecloths-90" rounds. When we dropped them off my husband asked for a price and the woman was vague. PRICE WAS NEARLY $500.00 for 25 tablecloths. This woman knew it was for a wedding and held us hostage. I've been taking my dry cleaning here for years. You can get your dry cleaning done cheaper, but the service here is outstanding and they work extra hard to get the tough stains out. My husband is very sensitive to the chemicals that dry cleaners use but we have never had a problem with anything they have cleaned. read more
