I chose the latter, as time was of the essence, and was again surprised when she texted me a photo of the lovely arrangement she had put together, and a note that she had already delivered the flowers! Turned out, Candy knew the family the flowers were going to, which shows the strong connection she has with the community of Knoxville. I love supporting local businesses like this, and Candi's has been going strong for 42 years! Smiles and improvisations without anticipation and execution excellence simply do not cut it. In the case of the event hosted at my home - overall an audience pleaser. But not behind the scenes or in the details. Do not count on them for budget management. They allowed a tent floor installation that led to falls and broken glass. They left areas unprepared for guests. They wasted money on displays that fizzled or flopped. They had no response to rain besides - "Do you have a Swiffer we can borrow." The event happening over a large space included no communications (standard practice). They were asked to solve for safety on steps and dropped the ball. Use them for pretty flower arrangements but not to arrange lifetime events. Too much risk. Not value for money.
