    I received a Bernhardt Sectional that was defective and not the quality I expected for the price. They replaced the first sectional I received but the pieces did not line up and the color is obviously different. I submitted a claim as they suggested and it was DENIED! This company is a great disappointment. My daughter has the same sectional and waited 7-8 months for a headrest leather cover! They assured me I would be taken care of. What a disgrace with customer service. I don't usually leave a review but the whole situation has been stressful. They are getting away with lack of concern and questionable customer service.

    First visit to this furniture store. Most of the furniture was not my style. There was a lot of light colored furniture and less traditional styles. I did see a few chairs and a few bedroom sets that were nice. We were window shopping and exploring the options. We liked that there was an option to customize a couch bed that we would look into when we rearrange one of the rooms. It was interesting that they had DJ playing music. This was the 1st furniture store with a cafe selling coffee, select food choices, and alcohol. This store is huge with 2 floors with an elevator and an escalator to navigate the space. There is a big variety from living room, bedroom, kitchen, nursery and outdoor furniture. The prices seemed reasonable and it was nice that you could also buy the bedding. The staff were friendly, and we would go back to check out the custom bed couch, some accessories, and maybe some living room chairs.

    We bought a sectional in July 2024. It was delivered August 2024. December 2024 we made a warranty claim for cushions sagging already. They replaced 2 cushions and were waiting on another. It will be in sometime in March 2025. Their furniture and customer service are terrible. GO SOMEPLACE ELSE !!!

    This company is an absolute scam. You have 3 days to report damage and if you want to return anything there is a $99 restocking fee. My original delivery window was a Wednesday from 1pm-4pm, driver didnt show up until close to 5pm. Assembled the chair and on Friday morning (within 48 hours) reported a flaw in the material of the seat. I did so via the online chat. I was offered a $100 store credit or a $80 credit to my visa. I accepted the Visa credit. I then received a voicemail from someone named Ivan saying that what the online rep told me was wrong because I did not report the flaw within the first 24 hours. I called back and waited on hold for 25 minutes and spoke to a lady and told her what happened. She took notes and said she could do a $100 credit to my visa and gave me a credit memo #. Unbelievably, she calls me back within 5 minutes to tell me she was wrong again and cannot do the credit to my Visa. So now I have been told TWICE I would receive a credit back to my visa, once for $80 and the second time for $100. I then tell her I want to return the chair as I am over this shoddy, unethical company. She then proceeds to tell me there are no returns. I said what kind of policy is that and where does it say that? She says its the store policy so I go online and find out that is NOT the case. You can indeed return online orders within 3 days however there is a $99 restocking fee. She has to put me on hold to verify this and comes back and says yes you can return it but there is a $99 restocking fee. I chose not to do this for a $199 chair. In the end, the ONLY option I was given was to have a repairman come out on one day of the week only, doesn't matter if that day is not good, and he will have to say whether the chair can be fixed..... This is the WORST customer service I have received anywhere. If you buy anything here, just know you will be stuck with it no matter what is wrong with it and if any parts have to be ordered it will be a 3 month wait. Also know that they may offer you a credit, TWICE, and then call you back and say never mind we can't do that. Never, ever again will I. buy here and I will tell everyone I know not to step foot in this unethical business. Update 10-25-22: I received a phone call from Wendolyn at City furniture on Saturday 10/22/22, the day after I emailed kate@cityfurniture.com below. Conversation started out with her telling me that because I didn't report the damage within 24 hours they could not give me the discount that was offered to me twice and that the only thing they could do was send a repairman out. I said then why are you calling me because that's already where we stand and I'm not happy with that? She ended up offering to have a new chair sent with premium delivery but the soonest that would take place was 11/4/22. I explained to her that their return policy, or lack thereof, is completely unacceptable and I know of NO store where you cannot take an item back that you purchased within a couple days and get a complete refund. In fact, I told her about the chair I had previously purchased at Office Depot that I decided a few weeks later I did not like; I took it back to the store without a box and was given a hassle free refund, no questions asked. Office Depot is where I will be buying my next chair, definitely not City Furniture. Monday 10-24-22 I was contacted by the Charles from the City Furniture social media team regarding a post I made on Twitter. He explained to me that because I accepted the premium delivery from Wendolyn they could not provide the discount that was offered twice. I explained to him that Wendolyn did not offer me anything besides the premium delivery, she said that was all that could be done so of course I accepted, what else was I to do? Charles then offered to provide me a $50 discount in the form of a check or a $100 store credit. I let him know a store credit would be useless to me as I will never step foot in the City Furniture store again. I'm still not happy with the service that was provided and how much effort I had to put into this but in the end, supposedly I am getting a new chair & in addition I am getting a check for $50. I'm going to change my star rating from 1 star to 3 stars due to the fact that City did contact me and TRY to make things right.

    Carmen and Brandon were a huge help in our furniture purchase. They spent 2 hours with us and let us see all the different mattress options. They were very patient, friendly, and throughly explained everything. We really enjoyed our experience with them. Their store is gorgeous and has affordable pricing compared to other stores. We will be back!

    I am posting this review to let all customers know to beware of this company. They sell fake…read moremattresses and use reputed brand names to market their fake mattresses. I purchased a Saatva Classic from an associate named Johnny. I used the mattress for a couple weeks and noticed it felt very odd and uncomfortable. I then went to a store and tried the authentic Saatva Classic and it felt completely different from the one he sold. I had someone from Saatva do an inspection on my mattress today and they confirmed that the mattress we bought isn't authentic. I contacted Johnny to let him know that what he sold us was fake. He then apologized and said he would do an exchange for us for another mattress because he can't process any refunds, only exchanges. It was weird to me that he couldn't refund me even after I found out what he sold was fake. He then asked me to drive 45 minutes to his storage to check out mattresses that I can exchange for at no cost difference. I am 9 months pregnant and went to his store with my kid and when we got there , we tried other mattresses, we felt like we had no other choice but to select another mattress. So when we selected another mattress, he then asked us to pay $300 more. He never mentioned once before we drove there that he'd charge us more. He only said come try the mattress and we'll deliver it the same day. I left crying because I faced such a complicated drive during the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy to fix this issue but he was a total scam and a very greedy person. I have sent his company's information to business bureau now to help me get this issue resolved. I don't want any other customer to face this issue like I did therefore posted a review for a full warning. A mattress is something you sleep on for years and decades. Everyone should get the product they pay. Nobody should ever receive fake products. Its just so wrong!!!

Impressed by the high rating, I decided to check it out and I am glad that I did. Johnny was incredibly helpful, and it's clear he knows and understands the mattress business. He found two mattresses that perfectly suited my needs, and let me spend about 45 minutes trying both of them out while we chatted away. He also found a box spring for me that was exactly what I needed. He delivered both for a nominal fee. I couldn't be more pleased or say enough good things about Johnny and his store! My sleepless nights are over! Thanks, Johnny!

    The absolute worst experience from start to finish…read more Salesman Bryan sold me $1800+ of merchandise including a mattress that was out of stock. He told me he would update me with status in a week if not sooner. Never received any status on item. Had to call multiple times to finally learn that the mattress was not ordered because apparently the delivery truck brings a random assortment of items and not what a customer ordered? Crazy that I paid up front for an item that wasn't prioritized. I am also convinced that had i not called and showed up in person that I never would have received any status. I finally canceled the mattress and requested delivery and setup of the furniture items. Again, Bryan was supposed to call to schedule, never heard from him. Had to go in store and speak with manager, Anna to schedule the service. So unprofessional all around. Again, I paid for everything up front and couldn't even receive the courtesy and convenience of a phone call to schedule delivery/setup. Fast forward to delivery-another nightmarish ordeal. The two delivery personnel were rude, immature, and unfriendly. They claimed that they didn't perform setup and could only delivery despite Anna telling me that my items would absolutely be setup. What kind of furniture store wouldn't offer setup? After calling the store, it was finally determined that the delivery men would set up the items. Again, their attitude was appalling. They were clearly angry that they had to perform an additional 30 minutes of work. And the best part? Of course as soon as the items were unboxed, it was discovered that the incorrect hardware was in the box. I suppose the plan was for me to discover this on my own and be unable to setup the items. After receiving instruction from the store manager Anna, the delivery crew came back with correct hardware and setup. It was nearing 9:00pm when they finally finished. It was laughable when finally setup. The dresser I paid over $600 for was ripped up, scratched and just horrifically banged up. Looked used honestly. The bed posts weren't correctly setup. I of course called the store next day to return the item and ask for a refund. Anna was agreeable, but not apologetic and never once offered an apology. My only ask was that different delivery drivers pick up the item as I didn't want the original two back in my house. I was promised a manager would collect the item. But of course the same ineffective crew turned up much to my discomfort. I will never work with this store again or any American Freight. The manner is which I was treated is deplorable and quite frankly the store should be ashamed and embarrassed if this is the highest level of service they can provide. Do yourself a big favor-avoid this chain and service your furniture needs anywhere else. I've had great experiences with Kane's, Rooms to Go, and Cort, etc... You'll deal with professionals in those locations.

I was greeted by a very nice gentleman called Juan. He listened to my needs and wants.... and budget!!! He then steered me in the direction of three different mattresses for me to start my search. I am Interior Designer so I knew what I was coming in for. But decided to try all the mattresses since I was there. The original one I wanted, I could not find on the floor to test, so I decided to try a completely new company called Stearns and Foster. This is a very high-end mattress firm and I had not considered them, thinking they would be too expensive. I ended up buying the Stearns and Foster Cassatt pillow top. I was in heaven. What an incredible mattress.!!! Unfortunately, I have a bad back and hip problems, so after a couple of months, my body was hurting. Alas, the mattress was too soft for my body and my needs. I looked at the return policy and realized I could still return the mattress and pick out another one that would support my body in the way it needs to be supported. I called mattress firm and they told me to come in and they would take care of me right away. I went in, I was greeted by Juan again with a great big smile. We went over to the desk in less than half an hour he had processed the return of the Stearns and foster mattress and processed the sale for the Beautyrest beyond , that decided to buy in the end. I happened to luck out .....there was the exact mattress I wanted, coming in the very next day! I got a call and before I knew it I had a new mattress being brought over to my home and the Stearns and Foster one would be taken away. That is what you call customer service!! If you are in need of a good mattress, don't mess around ordering roll up ones on the Internet, just go and get a great deal with Juan!

So, during their most recent visit, they told me that they were buying me a new mattress and weren't taking excuses. Since they had such a positive experience at Mattress Firm in their town (Melbourne), they took me to the Mattress Firm closest to me (Winter Park) and we were very glad with this decision. First of all, I have to give a shout out to our sales representative, Rafael! He wasn't pushy and encouraged us to take our time while showing us a variety of mattresses and explaining the differences between them. Rafael was also very patient (I'm pretty indecisive) and alerted us to all the sales and discounts that they were offering at that time. Therefore, we got an EXCELLENT deal on the queen-sized Beauty Rest mattress I decided on (which is awesome and enhanced my ability to sleep!). I also need to give a shout out to the Mattress Firm delivery staff (sorry guys, O can't remember your names!). They were friendly, clean and very careful with taking out my old mattress and setting up my new one. They even wore disposable booties to cover their shoes so as to not dirty my floor - very much appreciated! The next time I need a mattress (I'll try not to wait another 20 years!), I'm definitely making a return visit to this Mattress Firm!

I also go there for the patio furniture chair pads and pillows. They have all kinds of designs and shapes and sizes. They have many door mats, for all the holidays/seasons too. I recently went to get a hamper, since my last one finally fell apart. This time, i got the bamboo double (divided). It was easy to put together and it's lightweight but quality. In January, I went and bought all sorts of Christmas ribbon on sale for projects I wanna do this coming Christmas. I would recommend this place for holiday stuff and hope decor for all seasons. They also have quite the selection of frames and mirrors. Parking is plentiful. Although I shop quick and get out before I spend too much, I like that their shopping carts have a drink holder!!! They know you're gonna spend some time there haha. They have a text and email sign up and historically I got an occasional coupon. Not sure what happened to that- maybe I unsubscribed? But it used to come on your birthday at least. Oh well!
