I came at 5:07. Was late because I didn't realize it was across the street from the market. I needed just 3 pills to keep my antibiotics going. I saw the women in the store. Not only did they refuse to open they walked out right past me. I explained I needed antibiotics. They kept walking. There are places that are willing to go above and beyond. The service provided by Bryan, Sarah, Itzel and Pharmacist Brooke is a solid 'A'. Their knowledge, efficiency and smiles are just a few of the reasons for for an A. Should I be prescribed a new medication that isn't stocked the can have it on site in a day or two. They worked around / through the renovations which added more available inventory space. They had a great attitude about folks like me who previously used Clark's Pharmacy and had to switch because Clark's closed their pharmacy. Thanks and appreciate you all. read more

Aspen City Market pharmacy. Terrible job. We asked for next day delivery - 5 miles away - had the Lazy pharmacy employees done their job, we would have had a delivery the next day... But no...they sent it the next day. Here it is 3 days later and still nothing. One item got sold out (it was there when we placed the order, and we had to pay $22 for next day delivery, now for only one $13. item. If they'd just called and said " we're now out of one item" I would have canceled the whole order. Worst service in the world and when you call...they hang up on you. read more

I am grateful there are two pharmacies in town, but there is no need to give poor service and then be rude about it. I know they have a hard job, but to be rude is not necessary. The worst!!! I called this morning to refill a heart medication and was told they did not have the drug in stock and our employer no longer contracted with City Market. I said I was going to call other pharmacies to see if somebody had the drug and did not care if they were covered by our insurance. I found out that Walmart had the drug and as an added bonus did take our insurance. Walmart said they were going to contact City Market to have the prescription transferred. I called four hours later and was told that City Market had never responded to the request and they suggested I call. I did call City Market -after eight tries where they kept me on hold for at least 10 minutes each time hanging up or picking up the phone and putting me back on hold. I finally reached someone and asked that they send the fax over to Walmart at which point the technician said "we're doing it now" and basically hung up on me. When I went to Walmart to pick up the prescription, it turns out that City Market had sent an old expired prescription so we could not pick up the much-needed medication. Walmart went out of their way and contacted the doctor so we could get a couple of pills to get through the weekend. Thank you so much, Walmart! I know there's not a lot of competition in Aspen but I don't think I've ever had worse service. It's worth driving all the way to Glenwood to not have to deal with that kind of attitude again. read more

THANK GOD for City Market Pharmacy!! This Pharmacy is located across the street of CITY MARKET itself. I was NOT feeling that good ever since I arrived in Aspen, CO. Hence to this CITY MARKET Pharmacy I went. That recent visit was on Friday December 12th 2014. Time was about 16:25hrs ish. This Pharmacy is also wheel-chair accessible, since there is a ram inside. As for Parking, street parking is available though limited. You can also park your vehicle at the CITY MARKET which is across the street. They are definitely stocked up with all the items you need in case you need those "off the shelf medication" or "off the counter" or even those bandages!! The operating hours of this City Market Pharmacy is as following : * MONDAY - FRIDAY : 8am to 8pm * SATURDAY : 9am to 6pm * SUNDAY : 10am - 6pm Do call ahead in case their operation hours do vary. Pharmacy- finally! I was thrilled when the City Market Pharmacy FINALLY opened across the street from the store! THe store is small, but it is what a pharmacy should be, just the basics. The staff are professional and friendly, and the pharmacist was very polite, professional, and thorough. Prices are great! I transferred a prescription that was on their $4 generic list and they even gave me a $25 gift card to buy groceries across the street! I love this place! read more

Cake or poison! I got a lot of plastic flakes in my cake. The plastic flakes were barely visible but i found a big one as well. Earlier i thought that they were small cookie crumbles but the biggest one hurt my tongue and then i tok it out to find out the plastic i was eating all the time. We were told that it would take 1 to 2 hrs for the prescription before 5pm on Friday. We said we needed it tonight, gave a cell number, did not answer when we called to check, just closed. We are often in Aspen and are disappointed at this incompetence. We expected better from City Market. read more

I'd been going to this pharmacy for many years and had always been met with the unpleasant experience of checkout by Brooke, the store manager of all employees. Very down trodden energy and a abrasive attitude on display that I'd always disregarded because I figured "everyone has a bad day" but it wasn't until most recently when I had to return to the store 3 times within two days because of automated phone messages that notified me that my meds were ready. I would arrive at the store only to find out they weren't all ready and apparently some were never called in by my doctor's office. No fault of her's or the pharmacy and I made no waves about it but her attitude toward me was awful. She was impatient, very kirt in her communication and I was treated as a nuisance each of these 3 visits. People go to the pharmacy to find reprieve from a variety of ailments, pain and suffering. I don't need to be made to feel like a pain in someone's a$$ on top of it for having done nothing wrong. I'll be sending my prescriptions in to Carl's pharmacy from now on. read more
